There was NO indication that there was major construction ongoing when I made my reservation. I am asthmatic with serious allergies as well. I simply cannot tolerate construction dust and debris! I suffered with asthma for days after staying there, then developed a sinus infection as well. I was staying in Spartanburg to be with my granddaughter and her family during the holidays, but was so focused on my health issues, I felt cheated out of this special time with the little ones!

Our room was clean and king bed comfy. Shower was excellent with the handrails needed, plenty of space. We enjoyed the inside pool. However wished that there was a hot tub. Breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal , variety of fruit, yogurt. Cofee, tea. Location worked for us as we were traveling through. There is a shopping mall nearby.

There is upgrade/remodeling work in progress. During weekdays, there will be some extra traffic in the halls and noise, and temp storage units in the parking lot. But I will certainly stay here again.

We were in town for a dance competition so I was traveling with 2 children. The staff were welcoming and just really friendly in general. The check-in was quick and easy and the room was perfect. They provided a bunch of breakfast options in the mornings we were there so there was something for each of us. It was a little tough with the parking but that was understandable with several big events going on in the area. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price we paid versus the comfortable and safe stay we had.

The room itself was very clean and comfortable but the walls are paper thin and I could hear every word the people beside me and in the hallways were saying- it was uncomfortable how clearly you could hear people and I felt like I had no privacy. They have some construction going on and it was super noisy very early in the morning right beside my room! Maybe not put guest in a room that is right beside one under construction!

Nice looking motel from the outside and there it ended. The service at the front desk was OK. The room was a bit unclean. WE did appreciate housekeeping each day. Bathroom lighting was poor. Beds were not comfortable. Breakfast was ok but not “good.”.

The hotel and staff were great. Only complaints are: four towels for three people. Two of the party members were female and use two towels each. The other issue is how noisy the room was or the guests. Not the hotel issue as much as clientele.

Very nice hotel with colorful and cheerful decor. Room was large and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower was a walk in and was very large. Plenty of places to eat and very close to the hotel. I would recommend as well as stay there again.

Staff was fantastic, and I loved the fact that breakfast was served complimentary daily. Room walls were slightly thin, so I heard a family next to me with a crying baby; but nothing that prevented me from sleeping. Only room con for me was the spotlight for the landscaping was pointing up at my room and the blackout curtain wasn’t long enough to block it. HVAC was slightly noisy. For the price, I loved it. I appreciated a microwave and fridge in room as well

My stay was very pleasant except for two things - I had the room next to the ice machine, which I could hear making ice during the night. There was also no way to totally close the drapes - only sheers over the window itself, so the room stayed very bright during the night due to the security lights. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was enjoyable.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. The rooms were very comfy, updated, and exceptionally clean. The hotel staff came in our room and left the door unlocked and OPEN before we even checked out. We came back to our room to freshen up before we hit the road and found our room unlocked and the deadbolt open so the door couldn’t close. Very unsafe considering I told the staff we had not checked out and the front desk reassured me we were ok.

My wife & I were impressed with the facilities and staff....all good! The location of this HIE was great and unusual! We liked not having to go back on the busy highway to find a good place to dine. We had options here & were indeed pleased with our selection both for the restaurant & HIE!

This hotel is at the edge of the Westgate Mall. Within walking distance, you have many shopping options, movie, theaters, fantastic restaurants, and all the quick service food you would ever want. It is a travelers paradise.

To be honest, I found the price a little high for what I received. When I booked the room I felt the price was comparable to my past experience with Holiday Inns. But was disappointed in the quality of the mattress, the overall size of the room -- smaller than I've had at other Holiday Inns or even Hilton properties. But I was led to believe by the pictures on the website that the price would at least be supported by a good breakfast. Steamed, colorless sausage links, and some tasteless eggs did not support that by any means. Highly disappointed in this the most. The woman who checked me in was lacking in warmth and courtesy. She just seemed like she was doing her job but I did not feel very welcomed as a guest who just paid $154 for a few hours of sleep, a hot shower, and a lousy breakfast.

Stayed overnight while traveling between SC and IL. The hotel was clean the front desk clerk was friendly, informative and courteous. The breakfast offerings were THE BEST I’ve ever seen offered as a free breakfast buffet - hot, delicious, fresh and healthy choices!
