Hampton Inn Raleigh-Capital Blvd. North

They are currently remodeling, take this into consideration. I did not have a remodeled room so the bathroom left a bit to be desired. Old tub some mold. The pool was great, refreshing, towels for pool use. Plenty of options to eat nearby, free parking and plenty of it. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. And the included breakfast was great. The elevators are slow! And the ice machines were off, my guess due to construction I am certain they could provide some if asked. Overall, I would stay here again.

Older building. One of the two elevators was out. Longer wait times to get to your floor. Room wasn’t ready at 3pm and I had to wait an hour. They didn’t offer anything for this inconvenience. Bathroom was clean but I found hair in my bed that wasn’t mine. Breakfast was ok but they ran out of waffle mix at 9am. Just an average stay. Central location was nice.

The hotel was fine everything was in great condition. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the lights on the elevator and the elevators move extremely extremely slow.

Hotel is getting old, one elevator was not working. For breakfast, no food left and took forever to bring extra bread and even coffee.

Staff is pleasant & helpful , maid service is provided every other day; no safe; property is in need of updating.

Gym is small but good. Michelle was amazing at the front desk. Helped in getting me and my 92 year old mother settled after a last minute change in plans. Thank you.

No one cleans room or changes towels. I understand the pool area is not open yet in April but they don’t even let you sit on outdoor chairs.

Pool was closed and has been closed for a while. Place was dirty smelly and it is falling apart.

Hampton Inn Raleigh-Capital Blvd is in a great location with easy access to all major roads. Staff is very accommodating but the hotel is in the middle of some major renovations. If you are planning a visit - stay away from the floors where work is ongoing. The included breakfast has many options and a coffee bar is available 24/7. The website lists in-room safes as one of the amenities but the 2 rooms we stayed in (we had to move due to a leak from the bathroom above us) did not have any safes in them. I'm sure this place will rate 5 stars once the renovations are completed.

I was on the 5th floor and the ice machine was broken so I went to 4 and that didn't work. I called the front desk and really got no help. She said 4 was working and that was it. Also, no hairdryer in the room.

The room was well below standard as if wasn't even cleaned before i checked in. The bed wasn't made all the way. Frozen food was left in the freezer. There was an empty beer bottle on the floor. The phone in the room didn't work. The front desk gave my guest a hard time about checking in even though she had i.d. And 3 different house keepers walked in the room without knocking, unannounced. The whole experience was unacceptable

the pictures of this place is insane. our shower was peeling and trust me i wore my flip flops in the shower it was that bad. this place looks like someone died in there and i would not stay here. the staff was friendly and great but geez this place was disgusting.

Awful! Room was dirty, food left in refrigerator, furniture ripped and broken, towels in bathroom were too small for a child, heater fell apart, light switch in bathroom looked burnt

There was trash on the ground by the entrance. Someone spilled a milkshake at the door which was never cleaned up the 2 days we were there. There were burn holes on the underside of our comforter, the carpet felt so gross on your feet you had to wear shoes always, there were handprints all over the bathroom door, the bathroom floor had not been mopped, the charging station was broken, when you turned on the light switch at the door it didn’t work you had to enter the dark room and Turn on the light by the bed without tripping, the other light was burned out. At breakfast the trash can was overflowing on the floor and when we tried to sit at one of the tables the cushions on the bench sunk in so low you couldn’t eat. Lastly the area in front of the receptionist desk was filthy. Footprints were all over the floor and it was sunny both days we were there, no excuse for foot prints and lastly the floor was sticky all the way to the elevator were syrup was spilled and never cleaned up the entire time we were there. I usually LOVE Hampton Inn and am easily pleased but this one was beyond disgusting.

Hampton Inns are usually our first choice while traveling. Overall this one was good, however our bed wasn’t as comfortable as we’re used to with Hampton/ Hilton properties. The mattress was sagging in the center and made a loud , scraping noise on the bed frame whenever we turned over. Room 124.

Check in was simple. Room was nice but smelled musty. I had arrived late so went straight to bed. When I woke up the next morning I noticed the carpet in the living room area had a damp spot. Left for the day and when I returned noticed several damp spots on the carpet. Called the front desk and they immediately switched my room and were very apologetic. New room was great! Clean and nice size. Staff was helpful and very friendly. I will stay here again when in town.

The property needs an upgrade. The room has old furniture and the curtains were worn and torn.

Clean, spacious rooms.

I originally booked a king. I had my granddaughter with me and realized we needed a two bed room. The original room was old. We upgraded to a new room on the 5th floor. It was new and more relaxing.

Service was good. Room is outdated. Headboard was not inline with the bed. The bathroom door was stuck to floor. No outlets for plugs by bed. Room smells old. Faucet in tub dripped all night. Got worse after shower. Need to be updated.

Very clean, wonderful staff, easy check in. Only complaint is that you can hear everything out side your room. Lol

The location kind of surprised us but there was plenty of dining options nearby including a few within walking area. Our room was spacious, very neat and clean. I took advantage of the room refigerator filling it with local produce from the local Farmers Market. The free breakfast was well maintained with a good variety of choises. Staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs. There was renovations going on but not on occupied areas .

The staff was amazing!

Tje check in process and anything involving the staff takes way too long. 30 minutes just to check in is too long. They are distracted and do not care.

The hotel is fine the people working at the desk and in the breakfast room are rude and unpleasant, I needed to speak to the woman at the front desk and she was on her phone for 5 min before she finally acknowledged me, and it was like she was doing me a favor. Also the beds are a little hard they need mattress toppers.

I go to check into this hotel and they told me they don’t have my reservation. Yet everyone can see that it exists besides them. The hotels.com and my app plus email can see that my reservation exists. So I’m left with no where to stay because everywhere in the area is sold out. Do not recommend this hotel and will never return.

Very poor experience. The room was not cleaned when we walked in and the tv didn’t work. There was a half eaten sucker next to the bed and ottoman. I called the front desk and asked if they could send someone to clean and fix the tv, or switch to a new room her response was “ All the rooms are sold out and I’m here by myself I’ll see what I can do” and then hung up. Never called back , never cleaned the room or got the TV fixed. We were there for a music festival and all of the other hotels were sold out or were at least $500 a night so we stayed there.

This hotel was conveniently located for our trip.

The location of the hotel and its proximity to well-known shops and eateries was nice, especially a mall that was less than 15 minutes away. Also, the convenience of a back entrance to the hotel because it was close to the elevators. However, the carpets and lobby furniture need to be replaced. In our bathroom, there was a constant sound of running water. Also, the was the occasional strong odor of cannabis. While the rates were good for the time of year and its strategic location, I don't think this hotel didn't represented the Hilton brand well.

It was OK. For 180 on a tues night I guess I expected it to be nicer. No hot water in the shower was annoying, the phone to call the front office from outside at night (late check-in) didn't work so you have to bang on the door or just wait for them to see you. Location worked out great though, close to where I was working. Front desk person was very nice.

At check-in, the system never accepted my credit card. At check-out they could not print me a receipt. For breakfast, there were no cups for coffee. We had to ask for them. They was limited hot food available. No eggs were available. The hotel was busy and it appeared that they had not planned appropriately.

The good- nice evening staff, quick check in and out. The not so good- running out of a hot breakfast item on a Saturday between 8 and 9. It wasn't life or death, but it was surprising(just eggs). We never had that at another Hilton property. Usually there is a substitute or something on deck. Having the shower curtain be taken from our room and not returned until we talked to the night clerk- that was concerning. I had mentioned it to the day shift at the desk, but nothing happened. The night clerk made it right, but it was disappointing. Having 3 towels for a 4 person room/booking was kind of irksome, but again- the night clerk took care of us. Having a slow drain didn't help either, but that can happen. The carpet was coming up in the room under the desk, but that's just wear and tear- no biggie. Not really sure if the property was just overwhelmed,overbooked, or what, but I expected something different. I only interacted with the day staff one time and they were polite, but based on results- their nighttime staff is awesome. I would say I got what I paid for. If you are looking for 4 star- this isn't the one, but if you are looking for clean and safe- this is a good option- just be a little patient and understanding.
