Very clean and nice environment from walking in the lobby all the way to the room. Random kind of, but I kept telling my family I loved how the hallways smelt and wondered what they used. The beds were comfortable and the sheets felt high quality. The included breakfast was top tier also. The attendant was restocking and cleaning through out the whole breakfast. My kids loved the biscuits and gravy. We ended our morning with a swim in the pool.Thankful for a comfortable experience for us all.

As always, my favorite hotel to go to and I just love the customer service. They’re very efficient.The rooms are always clean, smells good and are nice and neat. I enjoy my stay here every single time and a breakfast is good too. I love this hotel because I feel safe and it’s a lot of parking. Also, the rooms are nice and quiet and the beds are comfortable. This trip was another trip for me to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Overall, I got to enjoy my self-care day, relaxation and peace and quiet at my favorite hotel. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in town needing a break or traveling. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Our only problem was the toilet. We had to lift the back of it and fix the flap every time we would flush. The chain was too long and would get caught in the flap. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable, relaxing stay. We loved the continental breakfast and the work out room.

The beds were pretty comfortable which is very important to me with having such a bad back. The room was clean but a little ghetto. The drainer stopper in the sink was broken and the tub was painted including the drain. But the smell was absolutely horrible throughout the lobby area and hallways. Overpowering incense, it was horrible. And not something thats like a nice citrus, it was like nasty potpourri. Being someone that these smells trigger migraines, this was a horrible stay. I will never stay here again.

Checked in late at night, was given a room that hadn’t even been cleaned (no sheets on the beds, feces left in the toilet, smelled like mildew). No pictures of that because we walked in and walked right out before the door could close behind us. Front desk person didn’t even apologize, he just said “okay” and gave a us a new room. New room was fine, however when leaving (we only stayed for one night) and checking to make sure we weren’t forgetting anything, we found a sock under one of the beds and it WAS NOT ours. Told the front desk (it was a lady this time) about everything and she was apologetic and personable.

The staff is very friendly. The cleaning crew was very thorough and you can tell they really care about the cleanliness. General building was kept very clean. Rooms, towels, bed sheets, blankets all kept very clean. Bed and pillow was comfortable. Shampoo and soap has a nice citrus scent to it. Breakfast was kept well stocked with the items they have available.

Property has declined from previous years. Appreciate no pets and no smoking, however property has started using heavy fragrance or deodorizers that severly irritated allergies and asthma. Could not stay in the room, had to find lodging elsewhere.

It was a bizarre concoction of heavily spiced food cooking and an overpowering floral air freshener – neither of which would have been objectionable on their own, but the combination was truly repulsive.

The room floor hadnt been cleaned you could tell feom the toenails on floor and toilet seat at back wasnt clean. I asked for cleaning the next day and when we got back that nite it hadnt been done. I told front desk they sent people up but all they did was make the bed we were fixing to sleep in and give new towels

We couldn’t find the tv remote in our room and the desk clerk had neglected to tell us the WiFi password when we checked in. I picked the phone to call the desk to ask for a remote and the password. The phone was unplugged. It still didn’t work after I plugged it in. I went to the desk to report the phone didn’t work, ask for the password and for a tv remote. The desk clerk was talking with another employee and asked her to find a remote. I was told they would bring one up to our room. We waited for several hours for a remote. As we were leaving for dinner I asked again for a working remote or even a different room if a working remote couldn’t be found. I was told there were no other rooms available and they couldn’t find a working remote. I asked her to please try to find a solution before we returned. Upon our return to the hotel I was given a remote for the tv—five hours after my initial request.

Check in took forever. The man at the front desk was just sitting in the janitor closet when my husband found him. We got to our room and the tv and shower head were broken. Then within 30 minutes my 11 month old son found a pill on the ground in our room and put it in his mouth. I luckily caught him and dug it out. We immediately left after that.

Staff refused to issue a receipt because, I checked out early so, they wanted to ensure they were able to charge for the extra night. I had to call several times including the corporate office to make I was officially checked out of the room to not incur extra charges. I will never stay at this property again!

The property was great. The location was convenient for all our baseball activities and it was roomy and spacious for our needs. Simply it was better than what I expected it to be. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The only negative about the visit with that the rooms lacked the ability to stream on the televisions. And the breakfast was not super great. Other than that I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone. Thank you for an amazing stay.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is amazing! Close from restaurants, shopping, gas stations and supermarkets, but very quiet. Room and common areas were very clean (I am VERY picky with cleanness). The staff was very nice, specially the check in lady (sorry, didn't get her name). Breakfast was abundant, hot and delicious. You are basically having great quality of service, for a very affordable price. This will be our point to stay in Birmingham. Thank you.

The front desk got me checked in fast, and was helpful in giving my girlfriend a keycard when she arrived an hour after me. The place looked amazing and smelled very clean. The room was even better, best room I've ever stayed in. The breakfast the next morning was phenomenal. Especially since they had egg whites instead of scrambled eggs!!

This Best Western Plus is a great place to stay! This was our first time to Birmingham and we wanted a safe place to stay. We knew we would be getting in late and didn’t want to arrive in a bad part of town. All the reviews I read prior to booking were accurate. We would definitely stay there again. It was clean, safe and very convenient. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again!
