Nothing special. Dated hotel. Pool was out of service. So was the laundry. Room was clean but the maid service was lacking. Left me no towels and no garbage bags. Decent price for the area but I suggest you have low expectations if you stay here. And the gym was really lacking. 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical (that did not work). Some loose weights.

Elevator not working, staff refused to change rooms to accommodate elderly and handicapped saying they couldn’t because it was booked through a third party. Pool filthy and not useable , patio furniture still stored and full of mold in the pool pump house that was open with access to all pool chemicals. Clump of hair in bathtub and old soap wrapper. Toilet continued to run and flush itself. Fire alarm went off at midnight due to a microwave and staff turned off fire alarm.

Booked hotel for a mini getaway, a pool was a main amenity we wanted. The pool was not open for the 5 days we were there. We were told for maintenance, never saw anything being worked on. Laundry facilities were down, same thing never being worked on. The side door to hotel the handle was broken and would completely come off. Location was great, hotel was clean

Elevator was broken unfriendly staff there was a fire alarm smoke field the lobby traveled to the 2nd fl the desk cleared simply said forget it and just go back to the room.I had to call the fire dept to male sure the place was safe. Overall unpleasant experience

I reserved two rooms at this hotel for my family, and I have to say I'm sorry that we stayed here. The furniture in the lobby is old and worn out and needs badly replaced. One room has that smell you smell when your dog needs a bath. The other room had a large bug in it running on the carpet that my family killed. There is no soap dish in the bathrooms to hold the bar of soap, the tub stopper isn't connected to the bathtub as it should be. One room didn't even have a phone to call the front desk with. This is a very, very basic place and not as nice as most other places that I've stayed during my lifetime. The reason that I chose this place was mainly due to price, but the old saying of "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. The pool is empty and when I asked the desk clerk why it's not in service, I was told they are trying to get it working, but no end in site as of now. I won't stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to others.

Overall great stay. My only knock is that the only available parking is around back with ZERO lighting. Serious safety concern here. Also, i ventured out around midnight and returned shortly after to find I didn't need my key to gain access to the building. Oh and my sink stopper was stuck in the closed position.

I’m so unhappy !!!! I booked this hotel that was more money a night than a different hotel because it had a pool. Well the pool was not open for the three days we were there. It was in the high 90’s each day I was there.When asking the front desk I got told they don’t know why or when it will be opened. They did not do any housekeeping the entire time we were there. I got told they don’t do housekeeping services until day 4. Could not even get them to give us fresh towels. Breakfast was never restocked. When it was out it was out. So we never got breakfast.

Only one person working on a sold out Saturday night. Key card machine was down causing a large checkin back up. Once in the room we found one of the pillow cases had a big stain on it and the bathroom had hair and human liquids in various places, very very disgusting. The carpets were sticky and the smell of room freshener was so overpowering that my eyes and nose were burning giving me a headache. If it wasn’t late and a sold out race weekend I would have asked for my money back and gone somewhere else. Worst stay I have had at a hotel in years!!!!

The stay here was very disappointing. The hotel advertised free breakfast, yet they ran out of waffle mix, bagels and yogurt. They knew the hotel was near capacity for the long holiday weekend yet did not plan accordingly. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The ice machine in the hall ran loudly ALL NIGHT long. The lobby was dingy and could use a really good clean. The carpet throughout was old and smelly. I didn't expect much staying at a Best Western, even one being advertised as a Best Western Plus, but this so far below standards to be extremely disappointing.

This by far was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The staff was nonexistent and when you finally found someone they were rude. I asked to be moved to another room since my room was right next to the ice machine and very damn 20 mins people were getting ice because the first floors didn’t work. the clerk had an attitude and said they were booked (I looked online they weren’t) the towel were visibly filthy like you can tell they were used just folded. Asked house keeping for new towels got 2 by the way it was 3 of us. Stains on the boxspring, walls, ceiling , curtains, the door handled has a screw that stabs you every time you open the door. I have pics of everything! I will never go to best western anywhere again!!! The worst experience.

The electric in the room was horrible. I unplugged my laptop from the wall and the lights on the opposite wall stopped working. I hit the wall and they came back on. Neither the thermostat or heat/ac worked because there was no electricity to them The walls are paper thin.

Internet did not work in room we were first given, had to change to another room. Toilet in new room did not flush properly and took 10 minutes to refill. Breakfast area could have been cleaner and there was no bacon or Sausage offered even though it was supposed to be a hot breakfast. The front desk staff was very helpful, I think her name was Bria

I am a woman traveling alone and my last morning I was awaken by someone trying to get in to my room ..I called out no answer I heard door close and i jumped up went and looked and it was the guy Jamar from front desk.. I asked him who came to my room at 9 am trying to enter but because I had that bar on the door it just may have saved my life ..he says o that may have been house keeping .. then I ask for manager he told me he was the manger

I was called at 11pm (on my way to hotel) and told that they were actually overbooked and suddenly no longer had the room I reserved after a long trip until almost midnight. No effort was made to find me another hotel or reimburse me.

It was nice. The only thing is that the female receptionist messed up the charges and our card balance when she charged the room twice and the deposit fee twice to our card. When we talked to her about it the next day, she said she cannot do anything and asked us to check with the manager who was not available at that moment, neither the next day when we met the male receptionist who fixed the whole thing for us! Thanks to him!

Avoid this hotel like the plague. Manager Hanil Patel committed to reimbursing for the night due to horrible experience - a month later has not happened. Toilet did not work (told by front desk to use the bathroom in the lobby - that was the solution), moldy unfinished sheetrock by shower, phone did not work to call front desk, plugs did not work to charge phone, elevator had spilled coffee all over floor for about 12 hours (nobody cares), breakfast was a mess (not a single clean table - all the food was out). Horrible experience. Avoid.

It is pretty average for the price. The breakfast was so, so and the lobby furniture was a bit worn. We had a comfortable room, but it wasn't as clean as I would like. The sink part of the bathroom is very small. The staff was friendly, however, we noticed the front desk was vacant for long periods and we noticed guests standing at the desk for several minutes with no one coming to help.

overall pretty good stay. clean and they had a really good breakfast set up and great coffee. only complaint is that they did charge me twice for the incidental nightly fee - $25/night, should have been $50 for my two nights but they charged me $100 - $50 x2. it was a mistake on the part of the check in person… not a huge deal but annoying that it tied up an extra $50 for the weekend plus the couple of business days that it takes to fall off and go back in my bank account

Unfortunately, road construction made it difficult to get in and out of lot. Not their fault, obviously. Lobby seemed dated and furniture worn. Otherwise everything was clean and staff was helpful.

Room was clean, however, there was the "bare minimum" amount of towels in the washroom (two hand towels and two bath towels) only! Furniture was missing. There was no sitting chair, only one chair at the desk. The small fridge was in poor condition, so it was of limited use (i.e. not holders or brackets on the door, so cans of soda or small bottles could not be stored)!! Limited parking available near the rooms, and the parking spots were very tight, such that one had to be careful opening a car door because it would easily hit the car parked next to it. Parking spots away from the main building were NOT safe, even though the area was well lit. In fact, the morning the we left a guests car was broken into the night before, and the police were called in to investigate! DEFINITELY NOT ON OUR LIST TO STAY AGAIN!

Very clean and staff very kind and helpful. Wheelchair accessible. I didn't use the pool and gym.Breakfast had the basics but good and the best is that you have juice and coffee available all the time, also apples and bananas. Bathroom spotless, the Toilet seat was a little loose but probably nobody reported it (including myself). You have a little shopping area in walking distance that has Aldi, a supermarket, pizza shop, waffle House, Taco.. I would go back to this place again. Good job and Thank you for your services.

We stopped on our way from driving to Florida. We arrived around 1:30am in the morning. We called to let them know. Check in was quick with no stress. After booking the hotel we read some of the horror reviews and were worried. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. Room was a little tired but was clean, beds were comfortable and we had no issues. Breakfast was good. Eggs, Belgium waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, bacon, yoghurts, juice, toast, bagels, English muffins, fruit and cereal and coffee. It was a solid reliable breakfast. No complaints. Would stay again as a quick stop on longer journey. We stayed in room 125 on the left side of the property.

Everything about this place was horrible! Broken lights in room, fan in bathroom didn’t work, shower valve was faulty, toilet seat, extremely loose. The breakfast was a huge disappointment! Coffee maker was broken, juice machine didn’t work properly, no hot water for tea, waffle maker wasn’t working properly…and the bread and bagels had been left out overnight! Washer and dryers were not working properly! A very very bad experience… complaining did absolutely nothing! Would never recommend this place 😫

Will tell what was wrong: breakfast was advertised as included from 6-9:00am, but the breakfast area was not opened until over 90 minutes later. Staff did apologize. Towel rack broken. Three light bulbs in the room burned out. Candy bar wrapper on the floor, something sticky in a chair. Hair in bathtub.

Good location to venue at Rural Hill. Quiet stay. Breakfast had several options but because of staffing issues it is not kept stocked. Seems like food, plates and utensils are stocked once when items are put out and not refilled even when they continue to have patrons that want to eat. If a convenience that you offer with a patrons stay is breakfast then it should be stocked during breakfast hours.
