We made the reservation to use the hot tub. Only 2 jets were half working. The pool was cold and most of the TV channels were not working. They don't offer breakfast anymore. There wasn't even a coffee pot in the room. No Kleenex anywhere.

Arrived late after a travel day. When we arrived we were told that the pool does not open till 3pm. Daily. We did not stay 2 extra nights like planned. Instead we went across the street where it was much more beautiful and pool open at 7am

My family stayed on our way to Missouri and on the way back. The room was clean, the staff were friendly. Our dog was welcomed with open arms. I highly recommend.

Front desk staff were friendly. Motel is old and minimally furnished. We wanted a low-budget stay as we were participating in the Route 40 Yard sales so we knew it would be no frills. It was a non-smoking hotel but the room smelled of smoke, even with no carpet in the room. Several dogs barking in the early morning, but was not overwhelming. We did not expect much due to the low nightly rate but it would have been nice to have room service at least once in our 5-night stay (I.e. towels, trash, etc.).

Nice rooms, very clean and in good shape but, furnishings were slim. One narrow desk with some shelves and a 3x3 table. Bathroom was also nice and clean but there is no room for toiletries around the sink. No carper on the floors but floors were very nice hardwood looking flooring. No dresser, microwave or USB charging ports were available and the refrigerator was smallish. There was an open closet to hang clothes but no place for folded clothes so on an extended stay you would be partially living out of your luggage. HVAC unit was fairly quiet. One wooden chair in the room with no cushions. Great rooms for a one night stay if your passing through but need better furnishing for a longer stay.

Not the best Motel 6 Ive stayed in, but far from the worst. Very clean, staff was friendly, and price was right. Bed was pretty hard but fine for the price. AC sounded like a prop plane taking off everytime it kicked on, so was noisy but blew cold air so again fine for the price.

The room was very spacious. However no chair to sit in. Had two desk chairs no wheels. The room was very hot. Turned on AC but it was very noisy. Bed was not very comfortable. Only two very thin pillows were in the room. Worst pillows ever. Bedspread was very thin and no other blankets. Lights and electrical sockets on two of the lamps not working. Only provided coffee in the morning. I believe the hotel rooms were very overpriced for what they provided.

We got a room on the first floor, but when we stepped into the room we were overwhelmed with a very powerful cigarette smoke odor. We went back to the desk and the girl was very nice about giving us a new room, on the second floor. That room was better but the air was on 60* and there was a puddle of water by the unit. I mopped that up and it didn’t come back. We turned up the temp and used some extra blankets we had in the car. No extra blankets in the room, just a thin bedspread. It was a heat wave that day so maybe that’s why it was set to 60*? My compliment is that the motel was clean and the staff was very nice. The price was low so I don’t feel like I should complain. It was quiet and served well for a nights sleep after we regulated the temperature.

Basic, economy room. Clean, beds were so-so. We found them a little hard/stiff, but that's personal preference. Staff is friendly, place is clean. AC was cold, water was hot. Cant ask for much more in an economy stay.

When we arrived, their room key machine was down and they had to let us into our rooms, including every time we left and wanted to get back into the room. Very inconvenient. It finally got fixed later in the evening. Also, they required every adult in our group provide their driver's license in case something got damaged in the room. They said they needed it so they could put us on the DNR (Do Not Rent) list. Never had a motel do that before in my lifetime. They also had no breakfast.

Paid in advance through the Hotels.com app, but when arrived the gentleman working did not know how to complete the transaction and he would not allow me to get room without providing my credit card, being kind of rude about how much he disliked "the apps", and telling me about his home mortgage payment (no idea why, either). Because it was late and I needed sleep, I gave my card, which resulted in a second charge for the room. I was absolutely charged twice, which means I now have to take up wirh credit card company and wait weeks for refund. Highly annoying. Have stayed here many times, but the last rwo have been very disappointing. Doubt we will stay again.

At first we were iffy about this stay. We had stayed at one in past with a not so great experience. But this Motel 6 Hotel staff was welcoming when we arrived. Rooms are bigger than expected. Rooms and bed were clean and didn’t have a problem getting extra pillows when requested.They real quick to be delivered. It was in a good location and with a Cracker Barrel in within walking distance. It was quiet and comfortable. Definitely would stay again and would recommend.

This Motel 6 is excellent for the price and very convenient off I-70. Overall the property is in good condition, especially when compared to some recent stays at another value motel chain. This is the second time I have stayed here while passing thru Richmond and would stay here again.

Ending our vacation with this hotel on the way home for one night, this is our 4th hotel throughout our vacation , the cheapest and the best out of all of them! Staff was nice, check in was fast, lots of parking. Areas around hotel are nice. Felt safe. Room was clean, shower was good. Work out room was ok, pool seemed fine but didn’t use it. Definitely would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Dont luke no breakfast of anymind. Dont like no microwave in room. If no breakfast then really need microwave. Loved how clean it was and quiet soundproof rooms.Loved cost of rooms. DIDNT USE POOL OR WHIRLPOOL.

I’m not sure why this hotel has so many positive reviews since it was a super old, smelly hotel. The whole places smelled like cigarette smoke, though there are a million nonsmoking signs. When we returned from dinner, the front desk lady was vaping behind the desk. The room was spacious but super old. We only had three towels for four people. The beds were super low to the ground and very thin. The air conditioner was ancient and kept turning off-we couldn’t keep the fan going nor the temperature down to sleep at night. There is a pool and hot tub but that space is dark and dirty looking (nothing like the pictures online). There is no continental breakfast and by 8AM there was no coffee in the two carafes. We were told we could wait ten minutes for more coffee-but we were on our way for a full drive home. For $70, I would have chosen another hotel had I known about the smoke, uncomfortable beds, terrible air conditioner, lack of coffee, and dark dank hotel atmosphere.
