Hampton Inn Corsicana

Neither elevators were functioning. Room TV was not functional. Room smoke detector failed during the night and chirped until we left the room. Facility is not representative of what one would expect for a Hilton branded business.

building should hqve been closed during renovation.

Property is under serious construction—lobby literally has chunks of plaster that you have to walk over—I am happy that they want to improve their property but people staying need know ahead of time.

The elevator was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor, and there was no way to charge our phones on each side of the bed. Just a little outdated for the amount of money we spent.

Due to renovations you had to go next door for a hot breakfast.

The hotel was under construction. The elevators smelled like gas going up and going down. We had to hold our nose so as to not breathe in the gas. The air in our room was dusty. Every time the Air conditioning went on, we could almost taste the dust. We tried to get a partial refund, but because we went thru Expedia, a 3rd party, no refund or partial refund could be extended. There was a pageant in town, and most of the hotels were already booked.

Elevators were fussy, took 5 minutes to get to second floor. Main floor bathroom out of paper towels.

Elevators did not work during our whole stay. Breakfast was unappetizing. And hotel did not honor Expedia's price.

I did not get the room or services shown to me on Expedia that I had chosen. The hotel was being renovated; the swimming pool contained algae; television did not work properly. The dining was being renovated so I was told to walk across the street to the Holiday Inn to get my full breakfast. Management said they could not refund my money since I went through Expedia. The front desk employees were excellent and tried to help with anything I needed.

No lights on in parking lot, bitten by bug in bed, outdated rooms, homeless couple on couches in lobby, breakfast wasn’t too bad, coffee available, great location

The bathroom could have been cleaner - there was something on the shower door that looked like vomit (gross). The toilet kept trying to stop up also. For the price I expected to have a nice clean room. I could have stayed at a cheaper hotel that was comparable in cleanliness. It just looked shabby. We were not impressed.

Just a one night stay for our family and we had no complaints. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with sausage and eggs and some good breakfast potatoes. They had the standard waffles that none of us should have but we will because they’re just so good. Bonus points for the blueberry batter option but kind of disappointing that they didn’t have the Texas shape! ;) Only issue we had was the commode seat was loose but my husband fixed that quickly.

Was not clean smelling curtains broken

The property was outdated and did not smell great. It was clean. They do not offer free wifi and I did not have power in any outlets in the bathroom.

Clean room. Polite staff. Adjacent to Waffle House. Prefectly adequate roadside hotel.

Large, very spacious room with a king size bed and lots of space to walk or lounge in. Very spacious bathroom with walk-in shower with removable handheld shower head and "sitting" platform if needed. Regular room modern amenities were available such as tv, microwave, room fridge. No window outside view as the room is located at the motel outside entry overhang but that also blocks out the morning sun brightness. One pleasant surprise was finding a large buzzard-like bird which turned out to be a mama bird dye to the presence of an egg that she was laying on and pruning her nest. Ah, nature.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, quiet until someone lets their door slam. But that’s not the hotel's fault. Just rude guests. This Hampton has newer furniture than most. Enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is not very maintained, wallpaper was coming loose, the doors was dragging on the carpet. We got a handicapped, most of the have a removable shower head for taking shower. This one didn’t.

Very nice experience. They accommodated my request to be placed so my sleep would be less interrupted. The bed was comfortable and the furniture looked updated from others Hampton I have stayed at. I will book here again.

Nice and comfortable. Good but standard breakfast. Had some steps on the ceiling noise but that did not last long and had a good night’s sleep.

Refrigerator and toilet in room both making constant noise. Was probably and really nice hotel in it's day but it well worn.

We booked two queen suite and they gave us one king suite. When we told them they said they were all booked up. This room was for a mother and son whom were not going to share the king bed. When we pulled out the sofa bed there were stains and mouse dropping on the mattress. When we told the the front they just said they could give us extra sheets to cover the mattress.

The gentleman at the desk was exceptionally friendly, he noticed that we had stayed here often and thanked us for our repeated business. I’m use to the staff being cold and barely present but he was above and beyond.

Awful. Ck in took a hour. Desk clerk could not ck me in due to the fact I used reward points for stay. Could not use my conformation number to prove my reservation

The check-in at the other properties with Hampton were easier. The time they acted as of they hadn't gotten my reservation. Along with having to reprovid all my information.

They canceled my reservation because I checked in after midnight and had to make another reservation and pay twice!!😡

The overall performance of the staff was superior!

I booked an accessible room. I was given a room on the third floor. It was NOT accessible. Nice,clean but NOT accessible. I called down to the front desk and asked if they had an accessible room available as this one was not. They said for me to come down to the front desk, get a key to a room on the fourth floor and check it out and see for myself. I refused and went down and asked what they considered accessible and two staff members just looked at each other. I asked what someone in a wheelchair would do. They said they had a room for a wheelchair person! I asked where it was and they said someone was staying there so it was not available. At that point, I felt like they were the least considerate and helpful staff I had ever dealt with so I drove across a short road to Holiday Inn where I had a lovely two nights! I usually like Holiday Inn the best but I read a rating of the hotels in Corsicana and the Hampton had the higher rating which is why I chose it AND said it had accessible rooms. Not true. Please consider this a complaint!

Check-in was easy. Very convenient to highway and shopping. Beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean.

Our room was huge and very nice. The staff were all great. We went to view the Solar Eclipse - which we did from the facility parking lot - and got spectacular views. So convenient to not have to drive anywhere. And for us, the hotel was not just ideally located, but extremely nice and very reasonably priced - especially considering that a lot of properties were significantly inflating their nightly charges due to the eclipse.

I was skeptical upon booking but very pleased upon arrival and throughout my stay. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good/convenient.

It was a good stay. Staff is great! Walls are thin so you can hear next door room. But overall in a good area and easy access to freeway.

Was passing through visiting family and decided to stay here. Breakfast was good hotel rooms were clean and very comfortable

The breakfast was amazing! Best free breakfast we’ve ever had!! Bed was comfy. We got a room with the whirlpool and sadly the jets didn’t work. but other than that, a great experience!!

Excellent breakfast!

The hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was livable. The free breakfast was good.
