I was really impressed with this Best Western location. They have a full free weight gym, a sauna, and a pool! Everything is in great shape. The room was very clean and the air quality was better than most hotels I stay at. I would recommend staying here if you’re traveling through the area.

The lobby/ main floor were all updated. Staff was friendly. Breakfast offered a good variety. The rooms were extremely dated. Carpets were stained and worn. The non smoking floor near room 232 smelled of smoke. The actual room smelled of body odor, musty, mold smell. Bathroom lightbulb was out. The irioning board was broken. Dog friendly, but dog poop on the grass outside. Pass on this place!

Have stayed here in the past but will say this is the last time for me and my family. Upon arrival we went up to the room and the ac unit was in pieces and dirt all over the floor. When I went to the front desk I was given attitude about how since I booked through a 3rd party there wasn’t any other rooms I could move to or they wouldn’t get paid. Finally, I was able to get two room across from each other after being made to feel as an inconvenience for not wanting a dirty room. When going into the new rooms we realized the musty and moldy smell but we were hoping that after turning the ac unit on and getting the air moving that it was just in our heads. We left for several hours while visiting family and upon coming back we realized that the rooms had not gotten any better and there were dead stink bugs in the room. Instead of staying, we decided it was better to just pack up and make the 4 hour drive home that night. Would definitely not recommend staying here to anyone.

The girl at the desk couldn't seem to be bothered to do her job. We asked for more pillows and was told she was busy but would bring them up. After several hours we just went down ourselves. When we went down to get them she was sitting reading a book. Breakfast is done at 9. Seriously? We won't stay here again too much money for what it was.

There was only one person at the reception. There was a line-up. The clerk was rolling her eyes after speaking with each checking-in travelers. The clerk had no personality and basically threw the room cards without advising us we were done with our check-in. The hotel needs to train staff on respect, warm welcome and professionalism.

Three minutes after my check-in, I received a notice of fraudulent use of my credit card. I would normally assume there was a coincidence. However, the agent said he was having trouble with the hotel computer. He kept banging the mouse and switching computers. He would not make eye contact. It took him ten minutes to check me in. He was also unable to provide adjacent rooms or even rooms on the same floor. I reported my concerns to the manager the next day and to my credit card company.

Just across the NY Penn border on the Penn side. About 45 minutes from the Cornell university campus. Good bed & breakfast place with 4 floors. Gas station and convenience store with made to order pizza, burgers, & sandwiches across the road from the inn. Surrounding area is somewhat secluded besides the gas station

This Best Western was clean and well kept. The staff was nice, courteous and very helpful. The room was clean roomy quiet. So was the pool and hot tub. There’s hardly anything to do around the surrounding area so plan ahead. Will take a little traveling to get to most activities.

Its a wonderful building that warrants modernization. The place is a goldmine and has great potential, especially being the sole Lodging in the area. We love it and found it great even in winter . Easy to get to, not far from major highway and a short trip to Tioga Casino and Resort in NY state.

The breakfast buffet was extremely crowded. Extending the hours to at least 10am and hiring more help would be helpful. There was still a long line at 8:50am. A lot of things were empty and not being refilled even though the one staff person i saw was working hard. Also, provide more options for milk and not just whole.

While the front desk staff was pleasant and we had a decent stay (somewhat dated rooms, and the individual a/c heating units always leave something to be desired- they’re not terribly efficient and they’re clunky and loud), we could NOT get over the fact that there was ROTTEN, MOLDED meat in the “breakfast” selection. It was honestly one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen. WHO PUTS THATS OUT and thinks “yeah, this is fine”. It was.. mind blowing. There’s no way someone didn’t notice the “ham” was gray, black and putrid when they set it out for the guests. I have a feeling the hotel will reply to this review with the usual “sorry we weren’t up to your standards, you should have let us know” bc we didn’t bother telling them. We were so horrified/disgusted, we just left. I could vomit just thinking about it.
