Three Rivers Inn Sedro Woolley

The good points were that the bed is very comfortable and the pillows are wonderful. It's pretty well priced compared to the others in the same general vicinity I don't know if the housekeepers do not know how to properly clean towels or what's going on but there are horrific stains on a lot of the towels. One of them we swore had not even been cleaned although they said it had been. It had chunks of orange on it like food and huge smears of black like someone's footprint. (We understand the towels get stained but maybe the owners need to buy replacements more often. THE ICE MACHINE WAS TURNED OFF FOR THE WINTER MONTHS. Okay that makes sense because it's outside but it's now the end of March so it should have been turned on. And there was no message of that when we checked in. We went down to get ice and oh well. This should be mentioned so you can plan. The heater in the room, the up button was completely broken. Apparently it had a remote that we didn't notice right away because the remote wasn't put anywhere near the heater. It's also very loud but I guess that's common with old systems. The latch to open the window in the room is completely broken. And yes they do open because we've done so before. They need to fix this because if there's a fire no one's going to be able to get out. I would highly recommend that they check all of the latches in all of the rooms and get them in working order. No room for anything else to write here but just pay attention.

Easy to find, lots of parking, friendly courteous staff, clean room, restaurants nearby. Room and building could use a complete makeover; everything's dated, dented, scratched. I would stay here again.

No working ice machine. Fridge in room went from dripping wet to frozen, back and forth. Lights in room were all broken or unplugged. Housekeeping brought towels but no hand towels, didn’t bother to make the beds. Not even a continental breakfast for over $100 a night run down hotel.

Air conditioner was broken next room tv remote did not work wifi did not work. Told to use cell data. From Canada do not have US plan. No discount No towels at pool. All pool loungers were broken.

Reception staff were friendly and professional. Room was above average and worth the price we paid. Being close to Mexican food restaurant was very beneficial to us. Parking was plentiful and easy. We didn't use the pool, but it was there. For a base camp for going into the North Cascades or Mt Baker (which we did), Three Rivers Inn is a very good place to stay. We will be back.

A great place to start a holiday - the pool and area is clean and lots of towels! The staff are very kind and thoughtful.

Poor parking, room heat broken, and room door crack was wide enough to view through from hall. When I made a call to have the heater repaired no one aswered the call after 10 minutes. There were no alternate numbers. No elevator to reach our handicapped room. I am 86 and my wife is 81.

I'll repaired, cleaners did the best they could with poorly maintained property. Front desk person spent more time outside smoking then helping people. The pool was disgusting, looked like a swamp creature was going to emerge.

The property was clean and well maintained, staff friendly Unfortunately the pool was shut down for maintenance Overall not too bad.

What kind of place does not have WiFi available. It needs to be on the booking page. Also the shower was a mess and had dirt in the tub.

Only thing I didn't like was that there was a blood stain on the beige blanket thing and that's gross

towels were not clean , pillow is really stained and pillow cases were not clean.. was not comfortable bed .

All linens, including towels, wash cloths, sheets with holes, stained pillowcases and gray old pillows and bedspreads with stains, all gray. Horrible. Will not stay again!

The carpets were terribly stained! Looked like someone was murdered. The bedding and the towels were also stained. When asked for more pillows, we were told “no.” We found a noodle on one of the beds. All around disappointing.

I don’t want to completely dismiss this place because I understand this it is a small town and not meant to be a 5 star stay. But, the sheets were dirty and had holes in them, the pillows were flat and worn, the shower curtain was molding, towels were dirty and heavily stained and there was a leftover bar of used soap in the shower.

The room was dirty towels in the bathroom were stained toilet seat was stained yellow The shower curtains were mouldy on the bottom. Couldnt take a shower. Window curtains were stained yellow don't think they have been changed in over 20 years. Needs a renovation. I didn't want to walk on the floor. Overall room was awful for the money.

The outside of the property was clean and appealing. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean. The pillow cases, towels & wash clothes all had stains. The furniture was worn down and scuffed. Most of the furnishings were from the 60’s. Avoid all rooms on the West end due to the noise from the restaurant next door.

The carpet, duvet cover and pillow shams were all stained. The bathroom sink was not clean, it looked like someone had rinsed a coffee pot out in it. The shower/tub and toilet were clean. The controls on the HVAC unit didn’t seem to work.

It was filthy. Even the shower curtain was moldy.

No wi-fi!

There's a few upkeep things that definitely need to be taken care of. I know things are expensive but it was really hard to regulate the cool air should not only was the button for Matt broken, even on the highest cool setting it was shooting off too much cold air. And it's extremely loud. I always strip the beds before we leave to be kind to the staff. Upon doing so I noticed a huge stain on one of the firm pillows. Room 214. I meant to stop by and say something but I forgot. The outside of the building could use a little freshening up. Scrubbing of the walkways and repainting. The manager is incredibly kind and we will be back. We appreciate that we have a decent affordable place to stay within the valley.

No working WiFi. Tired facility

the WIFI did not work at the entire property. they told me it had been turned off by the provider. I would NEVER have stayed at this place if I were told in advance they had no internet. WIFI is like oxygen - you can't take my money and then not give it to me.

This facility was very dated with the noisiest window air conditioner I have ever encountered. It was so loud you couldn't hear the TV when it cycled on. I don't know where the picture on the website was taken; we never saw an area like that.

The Wifi was inoperative for the duration of our stay, which was cut short owing to a dispute about an article of furniture in the suite (a sofabed) which malfunctioned when deployed for sleeping. Management alleged that we had mistreated it by one of my 60-pound children jumping on it, but examination of the furniture showed that it had been repaired in an amateur fashion previously because of a similar problem. As threats of additional credit card charges loomed for repairs that basic maintenance could have prevented, the manager made it clear how much my children annoyed her, we felt unwelcome and feared additional issues, so we left after less than half of our stay. As the reservation offered no refunds, we had to pay the full stay's amount regardless. Lots of issues around the property. There was a balcony which sagged several inches. That's probably unsafe. The pool was a deep shade of green and was closed I was told because it was off season (in June). The siding on the building was warped, and bulging in places, and the paint was peeling. Inside the room, there was a slight musty odor, and there were places where the drywall was patched with questionable competence. Much of the furniture showed visible wear, and the master bedroom door inside the suite had a device over the door which looked like it was part of some sort of alarm at one time. Too many issues to mention, so let the pictures tell the tale...

This place is a decent price but it ended up costing me a lot more. The WiFi wouldn't stay connected and I needed to take a day off because I couldn't work. There is no elevator here so if you have any ADA needs and get booked on the 2nd floor, you may be out of luck. The TV's remote, Roku Remote, was missing and all that was left was the Xfinity controller which only turned the TV on and off. If the WiFi had been working, I could have used the Roku app. It's good for a stay but if you need an internet provider, want to watch some TV, or be able to use an elevator, you're out of luck. The staff was kind and the place was clean. The AC was on when we entered the room. Whoever supports the technology there needs to step up.

Walls were paper thin. Could hear conversations and TV from other room.

The room was spacious and clean. In my opinion, the furnishings and the bathroom were a little dated and could use a freshening up. Also the second floor window looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a little while. However, I will have no problem staying there again should the need arise.

They are great folks and very accommodating. My room was very very quiet.

Our room was quite a bit nicer than we were expecting in a quiet town with nice furnishings. Sweet and intelligent staff. Would stay there again.

My Husband and I have stayed in the past, with no issue. Our last stay, 8/19/23-8/20/23, ended up horribly. I lost my credit card and ended up having to pay cash. They required me to pay a $200 deposit. I started my period in the middle of the night. Blood ended up getting on some of the linen. I was so embarrassed when I went into the office and asked for my deposit money. The girl at the counter told me I was not getting my deposit back as I ruined the linens. I explained that I started my period. She said the manager told her not to return my deposit. I asked for the linens as I felt if I was paying for new one, I should be able to take the ones I supposedly damaged and clean them myself. The manager told the girl at the counter they had been thrown away. I spoke to the manager today. She was extremely rude! She told me the linens were on their 2nd wash. I am not sure if she lied about them being in the trash or on their 2nd wash. I asked for some type of invoice as the linens felt very cheap and the sheets were old and very thin. I do not believe that $200 is what it will cost to replace the linens. I explained to her that I started my period and I could have easily got the stain out myself and I felt I was treated unfairly. She very rudely says, “ Well, I’m sorry YOU started your period and ruined our linens!” She told me I was welcome to find replacements online. I said, I’ll do that. What is the brand. She laughed and said, “I’m not doing this with you”. So humiliating

We love this place, it's convenient, the pool is pleasant, staff is very friendly.

Staff at the Three Rivers are great. They remember us from previous trips and are always friendly and accommodating. The Hotel is older but they're updating the rooms which are clean. We stay at this hotel at least four times during the summer months.

Clean, friendly, affordable, excellent customer service, and a comfortable sleep. Will recommend 10/10. Look forward to staying again.

Very convenient as a stay when moving from mt baker to ncnp. Lots of choices for food in the area, drugstores nearby for any essentials. Gal at checkin really nice and helpful with recommendations.

Property is a little outdated but was very clean. Front desk staff was efficient and pleasant. The hotel was very easy to find, right off the freeway.

Easy to find. Close to boat launch.

The location is convenient, very close to the highway, which made it easy to drive to North Cascades National Park. There are also a few restaurants nearby, which was handy. The staff was absolutely fantastic, both at check-in and check-out, very friendly and helpful. That said, the property really needs some basic upgrades and attention to cleanliness. The place didn’t feel clean. I noticed hairs in the shower area, yellow permanent stains on the toilet seat, and the bathroom mat looked like it hadn’t been washed. The pillows looked and smelled old (and were even mismatched). For something so simple, it would make a big difference if the management replaced them — even $5 pillows from Walmart would be better. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable, and I barely slept all night. The carpet, chairs, and furniture look extremely old and worn, and the overall atmosphere gives the impression that the owners haven’t invested anything in maintaining the property. I understand this is a low-budget option, but there are basic standards of cleanliness and comfort that don’t require a big financial investment. There’s no Wi-Fi at all — the lady at check-in did inform me before I paid, which I appreciated, but just be aware that there is no Wi-Fi available. The AC/heating unit is also very loud (though that didn’t bother me personally). I wouldn’t stay here again. With just a few simple improvements: new pillows, a clean bathroom, and a bit of care, this place could be much better!

Good location In a cute town we were able to walk to get a great dinner and only about an hour from north cascades

Convenient and close to the North Cascades NP.

Only there for one night. Check in was easy, nice rooms. Good location for our needs.

We have stayed at Three Rivers before and like the location as it is convenient to restaurants and close to the little town of Sedro Woolley. Also it is a short drive to Bow and about a 40 minute drive to the Premium Outlet Stores. It has a nice pool and seating area around the pool. The rooms are clean if not in need of a bit of updating. The curtains and carpets are old but beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Staff come to your door in the morning with fresh towels and ask if you need anything else but they didn't clean our room which was fine with us. Also all rooms on the second floor have a balcony to sit out on.

Nice, quiet, no frills motel. Very few other people there. Good Mexican restaurant next door. Lobby doesn't open until 9 am, so I had to get coffee at a 7-11 store.

Affordable place to stay for the night. Always enjoy the Mexican restaurant right next door.

The property is somewhat dated, but very clean and customer friendly. We had a good check in experience, and were able to get a nice meal at the Mexican restaurant next-door. For two tired travelers, that was a bonus. The room was very spacious, and there was a heated pool available. We did not swim, but it looked very appealing. All things considered, it was a good fit for us. We would recommend.

Stop over before continuing into north cascades national park. It was clean with a soft bed after a 5hr drive which I appreciated considering we will be camping the next 3 nights. There’s a great Mexican restaurant right next door and there’s a pool which we unfortunately didn’t use, but it looked clean. I will say they need to get new towels or stronger bleach.

Good motel. Great Mexican restaurant next door.
