Great experience at Metropole. Didn't appreciate the music at Fat Tuesday, which also plays in the Metropole courtyard, or the clientele. This would be the only reason I won't stay at Metropole again.

The pool was pretty small and the breakfast that is advertised left for them to be desired. It’s an older property, but you can tell it. I would definitely stay here again.

Metropole was recommended by a family member. Staff was accommodating and very responsive. Nice central location. The place is not luxury and was very much over priced due to big festival at South Beach. It was ok - but I was disappointed that there was no breakfast….just coffee. Be careful turning on the water in the bathroom sink…you or the floor will get wet. Sister hotel was a long walk for happy hour but it was so worth it! We went back three times to Maxs Bistro because the food and service were excellent. Overall would not return but that doesn’t mean it’s bad, I just need better for the price.

I like the homey feel of the rooms. We were able to cook in the room. There were very limited dishes & cookware. We had 2 family members stop by which was staying at a nearby hotel & we couldn’t even off er them a glass of water because it wasn’t enough glasses. Also we were only given 2 wash clothes the whole 4 days we stayed. The jacuzzi pool downstairs was filthy. I never seen them clean it. The staff also had a language barrier so I was unable to explain my needs.Would I stay again? Possibly, if there was nothing else available.

Upon check in the first room smelled awful and was unkempt. There were piles of what appeared to be bug larvae in numerous spots in the room. The shower did not function properly and it looked like a toddler painted the entire room. The AC dripped from the ceiling and the elevator barely fit an adult and luggage. There is no parking and when I left and came back to the hotel where I was told to park was full and there was no solution. I ended parking 6 blocks away and received a parking violation.

This property needs to be renovated there is a mildew smell in the down stairs two bedrooms. The staff texted every morning asking if the room needed to be clean no one never came. Really disappointed because I have stayed here in the past. I love the fact is is centrally located and has Fat Tuesday attached.

Filthy and smelly, face broke out really bad just from being there. Bathroom shower had hair don’t even think it was cleaned at all, toilet was dirty as well. Room smells like death. Pool look like a pond for fish but Staff was really nice !!!!

Perfectly located hotel in the middle of South Beach. It has seen better days, room was not as clean as I would have liked and for what I paid. $20/hr for early check in. Parking lot across the street decently priced. Hotel provides beach towels, beach writhing walking distance. Hotel does not offer luggage storage before or after your stay. WiFi very cliche. Over all a great hotel mainly for its location. They offer a free drink every day of your stay at a local bar.

Not good for family since there is noise until 11:30pm plus people smoking inside and around the hotel. The sofa bed was dirty when we try to used it it was yellow stuff. The last day of our stay they send us a message welcome and asking us if we need anything to let them know.

Beware! The place is not like the pictures. I've got a dirty room with stains everywhere, ripped furniture, strong odor of mold! I couldn't stayed there for 5 minutes. Will call the city health department to inspect this place. The smell is really bad!

It was nice at first glance. The design and set up was glorious from the hallway to the suite; also the shower had great hot water. On the other hand; one of the smart tvs was not connected to the internet as a result I couldn’t cast. Also there was a mini fridge instead of a full standard fridge that was advised. Also a dead roach appeared at the door on the second day. Also the bed was never made during house keeping time only towels dropped off.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and the staff was so polite and attentive. The room was super clean and cute loved that it had a kitchen for us to use. They even accommodated our super late check in due to flight delays. We will definitely stay again.

I loved this place, I would definitely go back. Love that is quiet. Staff was amazing very caring, always there when we needed something, and very polite which is a very important aspect to me when staying at a hotel or Airbnb. Liked that it was very clean as well. It is close to the restaurants area, the beach, groceries stores.

This hotel is a 2.5-star hotel, definitely not 4 stars as the building is already degrading. The floor is uneven and the elevator makes noises when we got in. The pictures online do not reflect the condition of this hotel. The AC is ice cold in the living room but no cold air could get in the bedroom. The location of this hotel is great if you like to party and walk to the beach, and the downside is that you can hear everything in the street from your hotel room. The wall is thin and we could hear someone having sex next door.

room size is good Small kitchen, dining, and living space - -There a night club on the first floor playing geto music all night, hard to sleep. Staff was nice - cheap construction/remodel work, doors have large gaps, paint was sloppy, windows moldy. Good location, not far to the beach and restaurants - homeless people yelling at guests in front of the property and the security just placed on their phones Overall if your over 25 or have children I would select a different place to stay.

The room was very nice and spacious we had a 2 bedroom suit for our family of 6 and everyone was able to be comfortable. They also offered a mini bar and snacks if u wanted to purchase any of that. The staff was also really nice.

I spent 4 nights at the Metropole and absolutely enjoyed my stay! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the room actually looked like the photos on the website! The suite was soooo spacious, with a full kitchenette and all I needed to make a meal if I wanted to! It had both a fridge/freezer, a toaster, tea maker, coffee maker, microwave - amenities that were wonderful to have available - even if I didn’t end up using them! The living room and dining room areas were so comfortable and cute, with a giant mirror for silly outfit checks before heading into town! The bed was very comfy, soft, and a great resting spot after miles of walking and hours of dancing! I loved the place so much, I already booked it again for my next visit!!!!

Room was clean and very cute. Staff was nice. Previous reviews talked about early check in and being able to leave your luggage, this is false. I received an email from the hotel the day before check in saying 20$ an hour for early check in, when i got there front desk said they could check us in around 12-1, i asked to leave our bags and was told we dont have space to hold bags and recommended a place called luggae lounge 2 blocks away, asked if they have a restroom for guests, nope had to use the restroom at fat tuesday which was questionable imo not sure when the last time it was cleaned. Anyways, Luggage lounge charged us 22$ to hold our bags until check in. In the mean time we went to eat and to the beach for a bit came back to hotel around 1245. No one was at the desk for at least 45 minutes no one to answer the phone. Finally checked in around 2pm. Front desk said she gave a streetside view room for being so patient. Whatever you do dont take the street side view its loud at night time and our room 207 was right about fat tuesday the restaurant downstairs so youll be hearing their music all night. Over all i like the location its like a block from the beach and many restaurants nearby. Again room was clean no problems there.

The photos look great. The location is great. The rest needs work. The front desk couldn’t find our reservation, even with me providing the confirmation number from Expedia. The room wasn’t ready at check in time. When we got to the room, there was no toilet paper provided. - had to take a long walk back to the front desk to request it - because they wouldn’t answer the front desk phone. The handle for the shower fell off - had to go back to the front desk and get the maintenance person to come to the room and re attach it so the shower would work. We only stayed the one night. It’s alright. This hotel was renovated probably 5 years ago, and now everything is worn and showing signs of decay. The Reno was not done to a high standard, so the grout in the bathrooms is grayed and chipped - the paint is worn - the headboards are cracked and the vinyl covering is split. For the money. I would not stay here again.

The staff was wonderful. We had issues with a water leak. They happily changed our room. Parking is across the street at a cost but easy to get to. Jaina, Pita, and Otto was very helpful.

The property is very poorly managed. We had to call maintenance to fix the lock twice during 3 days. The housekeeping is shoddy at best, they didn’t clean the rooms properly. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, i feel the staff is the only reason the hotel is still standing.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at both check in and check out. The hotel is set up nicely and feels much more intimate than the large resorts. The only thing that had me lower my rating was an evacuation. There was a fire in the middle of the night. We were all executed due to the alarm. There was no communication during or after the event. There was some chatter the the fire was extinguished and contained to one room, but hotel staff never addressed us. It was unsettling.

After booking my trip I saw the reviews and people had mix feelings about this place. Let me start off by saying the hospitality was amazing. My friend And I booked the spot for 1 bed and 1 pull out couch and the manager bumped us up to 2 bedrooms. I had an amazing experience. Beach towels and regular towels were always available. They had free drinks from 5-6 for happy hour. Area is nice and clean. 10/10!

I totally forgot the persons name but he was awesome. Our previous booking was canceled last minute when we flew in and he accommodated us so much! Early check-in ONLY if available but we still were able to get a room about 2 hours earlier than 3. Will definitely be staying here in the future, the staff at the bar downstairs were absolutely amazing! 5 stars for sure!
