Very comfortable bed and room . I’m handicap . Staff was helpful. Laundry facilities were great !!

Nothing fancy but great parking lot for boat/trailer and staff is always super nice. Comfy bed and quiet property.

The sheets smelled like mildew. Floors were nasty and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. TV is rigged for using. Rooms was stuffy upon entry. Hot tub not working, appearance was not the same as internet Very nice staff

Was a clean facility that was good for the money. Indoor pool was clean and warm. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

ants in the room. one of the towels was already wet. the toilet hadn't been fully cleaned. there was half a roll of TP left when I checked in. The TV and other electronics flickered and/or turned off because everything is plugged into loose power strips. the pool is full of green water covered with dead bugs, this is an indoor pool, so you can't miss it when walking to the front door. The hallways were as hot as the outdoors, the window unit AC were LOUD. They get the room cold but get ready to wake up during the night due to the noise. people loitering in the parking lot at night. stay elsewhere if you can.

The customer service was great. The hotel is old and cheap. They keep the hotel very clean. There is not much to eat nearby, but College Station is a 20 minute drive away. I would call it a 2 star hotel. At the back of the parking lot are RV parking spots, which may be used to charge batteries for boaters.

Unfortunately the pool is closed due to maintenance, looks like it's been closed for a while.

I was expecting a rundown hotel in a small town, especially for how inexpensive it was. The facilities were very well kept the rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. The owner takes pride in his hotel. I would recommend this tell anyone passing through. I stayed there for four days and it was honestly excellent.

One of the most disappointing stays. Aside from being rundown, the floors were filthy and unlevel…found a dead roach in the bathroom. The refrigerator and microwave didn’t work. A couple of the front desk staff were pleasant, but the owner was not nice at our checkout. We left a day early and he refused to refund our card for that day and got belligerent and called us liars when we told him why we were unhappy with the room. I do NOT recommend this property at all!

There were dead bugs in the bathroom and spiders on the sink. There is free breakfast however, the set up was minimum literally two different cereals and you can make a waffle. The coffee was absolutely horrible and tastes like metal. The beds were clean and the pool was nice

Good location but broken elevator, 2 non-working lights in the room, bugs in the bathroom, loud pool area, used toilet paper, poor breakfast, unwelcoming and indifferent staff. Will not stay again.

Sink drain stopper was sitting on countertop, peel & stick backsplash peeling off, bathroom floor not swept, used washcloth in the shower. Aside from the filth, the property is incredibly dated.

There was a spider web that has been there a while behind the bathroom door. So you know they arent cleaning the whole bathroom just long enough too stick head in

The hotel is well kept and clean. The room was also clean. It was quiet and you can get a good night's rest.

I checked into a room around midnight and left by 1:30, the room was filthy like they hadn't vacuumed in weeks, there were roaches and bed bugs in the room and then they wouldn't refund any of my money! I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here and will be contacting their corporate office if all else fails atleast to get the facility improved or closed down

The photos on Hotels.com are not recent! Probably haven’t been updated in the past decade. Upon check-in there was a sign at the front desk that stated “I’ve stepped away from the front desk, please call ###-###-3884” so I called it. The phone rang AT THE FRONT DESK. The guy stepped out from behind the wall like this is normal. That sign didn’t move all weekend. He had no personality, didn’t bother to state that there was breakfast, barely even told us where the elevator was located. We didn’t see a luggage cart, so we asked if they had one, and he said “Oh, someone must be using it”. Started taking our stuff to our room on the 2nd floor, upon entering the elevator we were speechless by what we saw. The emergency buttons on the panel apparently weren’t working, so their replacement buttons were SCREWED to the elevator wall (see photo). Our room was missing the smoke detector, because it had been removed from the wall, leaving the exposed wire and mount. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were terrible. The large bath towels could be described as oversized hand towels. The shower curtain was fabric, so it had slime and other guests’ hair attached to it. There was a train that passed through quite frequently with it’s horn blowing. We didn’t get much sleep between the sounds of the train, the uncomfortable bed and the paper thin walls. The make-your-own waffle batter was in 4 reused containers that had “do not throw away” stickers on them. At least we didn’t find any bugs.

We were in town for one night visiting family. The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning wasn’t working properly.

The room was clean but the bed was not a queen. It was a double bed. My daughter and I shared the room but the bed was too small. It was comfortable enough to sleep.

This is a hotel showing a little bit of wear, but it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a happy baby. Continental breakfast was fresh and good. Coffee was good. Hotel is easy in and out. It is conveniently located 7 minutes from the marina on Somerville Lake, my destination the next morning for a guided fishing trip.

We were told by the (owner)we book through Expedia / online we would have to pay $100 deposit. Hotel (clause )Notes stating $100 deposit find print. We stayed in the handicap room, That wasn’t I choice I believe you got upset, but we didn’t choose the we called and asked for upstairs room before arrival time . Not adding up.

Very convenient and comfortable. Rebecca was very friendly and providing. She went above and beyond her duties to ensure we were able to get to and from our event on Saturday evening. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

I informed the staff upon arrival that i would only be staying for 1 of the 2 nights booked, and I did so less than 1 hour after i booked the stay and subsequently physically checked in. The front desk clerk, a lady, said that that was in fact no problem because i paid upon check-in. However the next morning upon checkout i was billed for both nights. I attempted to discuss this issue with what turned out to be the actual owner who i had already irritated by requesting to be directed to the location of an item, the milk, that was not in open sight or there being any sort of indicators as to it's location. The gentleman was not only arrogant and rude but acted as if i was inconveniencing him with each ofvmy 3 interactions. Asking for the milk and the orange juice must have made him upset. So, when checking out i again told him that i was not staying another night as i had stated the night before. I was told i had to cancel and was told i was supposed to give a24 hour notice and i explained that i had, but he shifted it to hotels.com responsibility even though he processed the final amounts. He was a jerk and did himself no favors. I did try to cancel but itbkn

Very nice people, owners are great.

The lady at the front desk was helpful, polite and friendly. When we had minor issues with the TV at 11 pm someone came to fix it. The staff from front desk to cleaning ladies was spectacular!!

I had to book my room through another website to get a cheaper rate because the hotel personnel would not honor the lower rate as they have done in the past with no problem. Check in was easy. Friendly front desk staff. Nice clean room. When i went to check out there was no one attending the front desk and no coffee was made for guests. I have stayed there every year for 11 years and never had this happen. The great service i have always had in the past was not there this trip.

I reserved five rooms with pay onsite instructions. During the check-in they billed my credit card for each room instead of charging the individuals staying there.

This is a very basic bottom of the barrel hotel…. Not worth $140 at all!! Not worth $75 to be honest. But they are the only game in town so they got you by the balls

Probably should be expected at the only hotel in town. Check in person needs to work on customer service skills. Hotel is run down and needs a make over for sure. Room was musty, dirty and had odor. A/C was filthy, on closer inspection I’m guessing filters hadn’t been changed in quite sometime. I’d avoid this hotel and make the extra drive from nicer properties in Brenham.

Good value hotel in this area. Nothing exciting, but everything you need. I would stay again if in the area.

The hotel is inexpensive and you get what you pay for. If you need a place to stay with clean sheets and friendly staff I would recommend this place. We've stayed several times when going to an A&M football game.

This is a hotel showing a little bit of wear, but it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a happy baby. Continental breakfast was fresh and good. Coffee was good. Hotel is easy in and out. It is conveniently located 7 minutes from the marina on Somerville Lake, my destination the next morning for a guided fishing trip.

This property is over priced. While they have remodeled the property, they cut corners where ever they could. For example, our tub had three holes in it that were horribly filled in with some material. The shanpoo and conditioner was an all in one, and the breakfast consisted of cereal, oatmeal packets, and only two pre-measured waffle mixes. If we wanted orange juice or apple juice, we had to ask for it, and there was zero protein. So, again, the price is not what it should be.

check-in was great. The girl who checked us in was excellent was very knowledgeable very helpful and extremely pleasant. The next morning, however the girl working at the front desk made coffee about seven and they didn't make another pot of coffee at all. other than some cereal packets without milk, there was no "breakfast included" the girl behind the desk, never ever got off her phone or left the desk the entire morning

First room we received had standing water in tub and bugs. Second room was clean and good. Overall property is a little warn but bed was comfortable and shower was great. Breakfast was also very lacking. Basically what you should expect for the low price.
