This is a hotel that caters to Smokers. This means that potentially every room there was a smoker present in the past. I have severe allergies to smoke. I got a room where someone had smoked in the past- I could barely survive. I had gotten there at midnight The lobby stank of smoke and weed. I really felt bad for the checkin lady as she had to suffer thru all of this - it’s the clientele The room was so so. Bathroom sink was dirty. It wasn’t cleaned as there was gunk stuck in there. Smoky and musty smells in the room. I think the AC was being ing in the smoke from other rooms or outside. So I had to turn it off Slept for 6 hours Absolutely no breakfast is offered besides free coffee with small cups and no lids. I did ask. You will meet people who are smoking right outside the lobby so you will be getting tons of second hand smoke Good luck

This Motel 6 has helpful staff, clean rooms, and a great location if you need to be near the Springfield Interchange. It's also the best-priced hotel in the area! There are no drawbacks or minuses, but just note that in exchange for the low price the hotel has minimal facilities: no breakfast or restaurant, for example, although there are lots of places very close by.

I was a little nervous about booking based on other reviews, but my room was clean - no bugs. I was traveling alone and didn’t feel unsafe. My biggest complaint is the elevator wasn’t working on my last day and I was on the 3rd floor. Also the vending machines only take cash. Nothing major, and definitely worth the price. I would stay here again!

The hotel was dirty, elevator out of order. Long wait to be check in, person in line before us only there to “check his mail”. The bathroom sink broken, water barely dripped out of it, had to wash hands and brush teeth in the bathtub. Overall very disappointing stay.

This motel is a great value for the pricey area of its location. The room was quiet and clean, but ventilation was poor and the floor felt damp, particularly after our showers. No amenities (shampoo, facial tissue) were provided, and coffee was available only in the lobby. The beds were comfortable, but housekeeping came only once in the 4 days we stayed. There was lingering smell of tobacco smoke in the hallways.

Terrible! Fresh pee in the stairwell. People making so much noise all night. People running back and forth at 3am on the floor above us. Just a gross place to stay eve for a Motel 6. Toilet won’t flush. No toiletries except a bar of soap. We certainly chose the wrong place to sleep last night!

The stairwells smelled like urine, and the hallway carpets were dirty. The rooms where ok, clean. Parking was fine. It's a cheap motel so you get what you pay for, but the stairwells, the two we used were nasty. The neighborhood seemed ok, safe.

The price per night is great. However, the cleanliness is very poor. Dried up food on the tables, the telephones look gross like they are never wiped down. And the bathrooms appear to be dirty all the time. The floors are always dirty. A towel was left on the door as if the cleaning was never done. Guest always being loud in the hallways. A few weekends ago a male was so loud yelling at his girlfriend trying to get in the room. Hitting the door and kicking the door. Very scary experience.

I was not expecting a clean room, and was ready to try someplace else if it wasn’t, but I have to say, the Motel 6 has extremely clean rooms I felt very confident and happy staying in. Kind of surprising actually, as it’s situated in a very seedy area. It’s really cheap, so you know it’s not going to be fancy in any way, but when I need a cheap room again I will come back to this Motel 6.

The furnishings were spartan, but i expected that. The room was clean. The mattress was lumpy and i awoke with back pain because of it. There was no hot water when i went to shave and shower at 1010 am. I called the front desk and they said they would look into it and get back to me. 40 minutes later, there was no feedbck. I took a cold shower (ugh) and packed up to leave. I asked the front desk for a $25 refund due to no hot water. They refused; said it would be fixed (this was at 1120) in 10 minutes and i would have until noon to checkout. I didn't really think they would have it fixed in 10 minutes, so i checked out and left. I thought they had a non-customer friendly attitude, and a "give a care" (not) disposition about the lack of hot water. They might be the cheapest place to stay in Springfield, but i recommend you spend more money and stay somewhere else. Also, they do not supply a little bottle of shampoo; only two small bars of soap in the bathroom for sink and shower.

Average for a different time. Room was clean, water was hot. Towels thin, no coffee in room, no refrig, no microwave, did I mention no coffee?. Mattresses slide off the bed when reclining. Just a very average place to sleep, that is all.

The staff at the front desk refuses to give me a new room because my air and this one is broken because she said she didn't like the way my attitude was the Air does not work no heat or cold there's no microwaves in the room and she was asking me all kinds of questions about why I checked in early like it mattered to her she refused to switch my room refuse to give me my refund and let me check out and told me I had a nasty attitude and she hoped I never stayed here again is that the way to treat a customer she needs a job working somewhere

My stay was not good @, Motel 6. -The television in our room was not working the whole time of our stay.+The room needs to be exterminated for roaches. They were crawling all over the room.-The faucet in our room would not turn of. I went to the front desk to report ALL these issues and was told that someone would be to the room to help fix the above problems mentioned. Well guess what???? Nobody came. I kept calling, calling,& called the front desk, and finally asked for the manager and the receptionist just kept saying the managers not here, ALL the way to the time it was check-out time. The front desk person just kept saying, The managers on her way. Well, the manager never showed up. This is such poor customer service. I know this is a low rated motel and I know why now. It's not right to keep lying to your customers about helping to solve the problem and they knew the manager was probably there the whole time. Not nice at all!
My stay was not good @, Motel 6. -The television in our room was not working the whole time of our stay.+The room needs to be exterminated for roaches. They were crawling all over the room.-The faucet in our room would not turn of. I went to the front desk to report ALL these issues and was told that someone would be to the room to help fix the above problems mentioned. Well guess what???? Nobody came. I kept calling, calling,& called the front desk, and finally asked for the manager and the receptionist just kept saying the managers not here, ALL the way to the time it was check-out time. The front desk person just kept saying, The managers on her way. Well, the manager never showed up. This is such poor customer service. I know this is a low rated motel and I know why now. It's not right to keep lying to your customers about helping to solve the problem and they knew the manager was probably there the whole time. Not nice at all!

The property is very nice. just the staff is really rude came in for a late check-in. front desk agent said my reservation was not paid and that she couldn't find it. she asked me to call Expedia because that's who I did the reservation. once Expedia had called her, she said she found it. it took an hour for her to process the payment. saying she did not know how to do this. so we waited until she was able to check us in. and constantly showing her receipts payment process.

I was not expecting a clean room, and was ready to try someplace else if it wasn’t, but I have to say, the Motel 6 has extremely clean rooms I felt very confident and happy staying in. Kind of surprising actually, as it’s situated in a very seedy area. It’s really cheap, so you know it’s not going to be fancy in any way, but when I need a cheap room again I will come back to this Motel 6.

This is a hotel that caters to Smokers. This means that potentially every room there was a smoker present in the past. I have severe allergies to smoke. I got a room where someone had smoked in the past- I could barely survive. I had gotten there at midnight The lobby stank of smoke and weed. I really felt bad for the checkin lady as she had to suffer thru all of this - it’s the clientele The room was so so. Bathroom sink was dirty. It wasn’t cleaned as there was gunk stuck in there. Smoky and musty smells in the room. I think the AC was being ing in the smoke from other rooms or outside. So I had to turn it off Slept for 6 hours Absolutely no breakfast is offered besides free coffee with small cups and no lids. I did ask. You will meet people who are smoking right outside the lobby so you will be getting tons of second hand smoke Good luck

Hotel is clean, though spartan and utilitarian would be the best way to describe it. The only in-house dining options are vending machines that only take cash, though there are various good restaurants within walking distance. The cooling/heating units are ancient and give the air a musty odor. The WiFi constantly drops out. Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

The room was very nice and adequate in amenities for sleep. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and furnished wirh plush towels. They provided soap and a little gift sack with shampoo and creams (and chips). For a no-frills stay & 7 minute ride to metro, very satisfactory.

This Motel 6 has helpful staff, clean rooms, and a great location if you need to be near the Springfield Interchange. It's also the best-priced hotel in the area! There are no drawbacks or minuses, but just note that in exchange for the low price the hotel has minimal facilities: no breakfast or restaurant, for example, although there are lots of places very close by.

I was a little nervous about booking based on other reviews, but my room was clean - no bugs. I was traveling alone and didn’t feel unsafe. My biggest complaint is the elevator wasn’t working on my last day and I was on the 3rd floor. Also the vending machines only take cash. Nothing major, and definitely worth the price. I would stay here again!

This motel is a great value for the pricey area of its location. The room was quiet and clean, but ventilation was poor and the floor felt damp, particularly after our showers. Decent price for a no frills stay. Bed was comfortable, room quite and check in and out easy. Just a bar of soap and toilet paper in the room but that is I needed there’s 5 guys within walking distance.

While the rooms themselves were very clean, the hotel as a whole was not. It was run down, the entire place smell of cigarettes and marijuana, one day we found a homeless guy sleeping in the hallway. Even the non smoking rooms had a cigarette smell.
