Days Inn by Wyndham Warren

Because of the holiday weekend, there were limited hotel options in Warren. I really wish I had read the reviews before I booked. When we pulled up to the hotel, it literally looked abandoned. Checked in and was told that they have no breakfast, the restaurant and bar are closed indefinitely, and the pool is open but the heater is broken so the water is 70 degrees. On the way to our room on the 3rd floor, the elevator smelled of pot, the light fixtures in the hallway were falling off and we noticed several doors no longer had key card readers…they were gone and you could see straight into the rooms. Room had terribly outdated furniture, but appeared to be pretty clean. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area, and when we checked in there were empty beer cans on the balcony from the previous guest. I was at the front desk 4 times in 2 days getting room keys reprogrammed because they stopped working. Also the external doors to the hotel are open all night, they never lock. Not sure why anyone would want to come into this hotel, but it’s definitely not secure. Looks like they’re attempting to remodel, but in the meantime, this place is a mess. The pictures online are clearly from at least 10 years ago, definitely not recent!

Elevators not working properly … departed a day early because conditions were so poor. Could not lock room door . Was not able to access room with given key cards. Pool closed die to broken heater. Restaurant and lounge closed. Room was dirty, furniture stained and dirty. Days Inn Warren has leaking roof, unsafe conditions! Awful stay…. Deplorable Conditions…. Totally unsatisfactory and not as all like the premises advertised!! Would like a complete refund!!!

Too many items were not operational and the price should’ve been 50% off! Plus, I thought I was getting my $16 rewards towards this and Expedia told me otherwise. I think I’ll just go elsewhere to another website from now on. Elevator not working. Pool closed!👎

This property is under renovation - There is NO breakfast as advertised. The room keys work once then you have to get them reset which takes about 7-8 mins each time. The pool was closed. The elevator was not working. Disappointed with this property for $80 per night.

Property had pool and dining areas closed off, carpet near pool area had a slight mildew smell.

Should be divulged on reservation site that there is no bar / restaurant on premises, pool is under construction/closed and no breakfast served … all which are stated as available on site, when I made the reservations.

This location needs some tlc It is severely run down and needs an overhaul Security doors do not work Very unsafe location to stay.

We didn't know it was being remodeled. Web did not indicate the following: no breakfast; pool had no heat (with a sign saying do NOT complain about it) ... this could have been said differently ... (We apologize, etc.) The elevators were a major issue. No open/hold, no lights, no inspection sticker. Patio doors were filthy. No cups in the room. No facial tissues. AC intake grill was filthy (needs swiped on occasion). Luggage cart carpet was filthy! Bathroom light kept flickering. At 2nd bed, pole lamp was not workiing. No phone in the room (unable to contact guest services unless taking a walk). Floors were dirty. Exiting the elevator on 4th floor was like entering a sauna. No Micro or Coffee Pot ... as we were leaving the door across the aisle was open and we noticed that room had a micro and coffee pot. POSITIVES: Bed seemed okay. Room was nice and cool when we entered! I apologize for sharing all this, I rarely complain, however this room was the worst of my entire lifetime (age 72) Room 410

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, the tissue box was empty, but we easily got a box from the front desk. The property itself isn't the best, lots of potholes in the parking lot and uneven walking surfaces. The "security" doors didn't actually lock, so anyone could walk in. Pool area was clean and easily accessible. It's a budget hotel, and you get what you pay for. I was just impressed with the cleanliness

The stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean, with visible mold and a strong musty smell that made it uncomfortable to be in. It clearly hadn’t been properly maintained. Chipping paint and broken doors were some of the few. The hotel also advertises free breakfast online, but there was none available, which was frustrating and misleading.

It was terrible we will not be back. The outside of the hotel was dirty and not kept up with. Inside is dirty in all aspects. No towels, no breakfast. The elevator kept getting stuck. The hallways were filthy. So much dust on the furniture in the rooms. The tub wouldn’t hold water. Some of the lights in the room didn’t work

Though Expedia said there was breakfast and a pool, there was no breakfast and pool was closed half the stay and then was open but not heated. This hotel was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. The key card basically had to be reprogrammed every day to get into our room. Our room didn’t have enough towels. The bedding was clean and comfy but the general cleanliness of the hotel was not great.

The entire property is incredibly run down, dirty, and smells terribly of smoke and weed. We were greeted with multiple signs at the front desk saying breakfast was not being served (false advertising), pool heater was broken, and the hotel was out of towels. One elevator was broken but not labeled, multiple lights did not work in our room, the room doors were very difficult to open (multiple people on our floor were having trouble), and all the external areas of the hotel were like walking through an open construction zone. Some effort has been made to renovate the rooms but looking closely they were still very dirty and rundown, and the hotel should not be functioning as is. It needs to be shut down and remodeled.

Sheets weren’t clean and had stuff on them. Not washed or changed. Stuff in fridge from previous.

I checked into the motel and all around it was dirty garbage all over the place I checked in and it was nice people very thorough. Got to my room. The room was clean as far as the bed I checked for bedbugs. The tub was all worn out And when I took a shower, the tub did not drain. There was no vending or ice in the hotel. It was advertised that there was a continental breakfast and there was none. The electric next to the bed where I needed to plug in omy CPAP was not working fortunately I brought an extension cord.. I personally would not recommend this hotel. I did leave my car out in the front of the hotel because it looked like there was transient people living there full-time, which I really was not keen to. I don’t think Wyndham hotels, which is the mother company of days and would be too pleased with their hotel. The hallways were dirty doesn’t look like they’ve been vacuumed for months in the elevator was filthy. After I took my shower, I walked barefoot to the bed and the floor my feet were filthy. I addressed this with the head person at the desk when I checked out and they said they mopped, but they don’t sweep so all they’re doing is spreading the dirt around not happy at all. I did address this with the person at the desk when I checked out.

It was a nice room the only complaint is the mold under the sink in the bathroom there was a lot of it and you could definitely smell it when you showered. Front desk lady was super nice.

We have stayed at many Wyndham properties and have always been pleased. The Days Inn at Warren is in need of renovation. The hallway walls need repainting, the elevator was dirty, our heat didn't work so we needed to move, breakfast was extremely limited and in general a sense of decline. However, our individual room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was excellent and attended to every request we had in a timely competent manner. This experience will not change our choosing Wyndham properties and we hope the next time we visit Warren, PA we will see positive imprvements.

Next to last stop on road trip. Price was right. Room was clean. 1st. Floor was convenient.

While the property and room were fine, as a single female I would have preferred a room on an upper floor (mine was on the first floor) or a second curtain to draw across the window. I felt a tad exposed to the parking lot. Yes, I could have requested another room, but I had already gone back to the reservation desk regarding my original room key not working. And, frankly, I did not think about the uncomfortable feeling until I was ready to change clothes.

No microwave frig noise cold had heat up was still cold

Only one elevator worked and it was noisy and the door didn’t open properly. The room doors don’t open properly. The handles have to be pulled up because they are too loose to open when you push down. The shower is only tepid water. The table lamps overheat and turn off. The staff gave us a one day key and we were booked for two days. If any other hotel had available rooms we would have stayed elsewhere.

We were very impressed with how clean the room and hotel is. The property is dated and equipment is old. The toilet sang loudly when flushed, the AC was very noisy and the frodge in our room leaked all over the floor and had to be unplugged which made it leak more. Ice machines did not work, but staff gave us ice. Unfortunately there was no breakfast and no creamer for morning coffee.

The room was okay. We had a bathroom that was for a handicap that we didn’t ask for. There was no place for a toothbrush and charger. The sink was not sturdy and partially off the wall. The card reader didn’t work 90% of the time. It was just a little frustrating.

I always have a great stay here and find it to be price wise, very reasonable, and the rooms are quite sizeable and very clean.

We got a room with 2 double beds instead of the 1 king that we reserved. No curtains on the window to shut. It was clean,and the beds were comfortable. Probably won’t stay there again though.

Room was clean. Bed were pretty uncomfortable. Our room was by the pool so it was loud until about 10om. No breakfast served even though they list it as breakfast included.

The manager verbally assaulted me for inquiring why the pool was closed. I filed a formal complaint and have NOT heard anything back and it has been 7 days. The sidewalks were slushy and never shoveled. The room doors are so out dated...their words...not mine and had to go to the front desk multiple times for access. Horrible experience. If you really care...look into this.

The hotel is Nice and quiet. hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice and clean. Indoor pool is a plus. only thing I would critique is on their website. It says about a continental breakfast which they do not offer. I would absolutely recommend to stay here. They made my stay welcoming & overall wonderful experience.

The elevator was filthy. There was no phone in the room. The tv didn’t work and maintenance never came. Checking in and out was like I wasn’t even a person. The nicest people in the hotel were a group of kids who were there for a birthday party. They were nicer than any staff.

This hotel was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff at the front desk super nice - the manager definitely is a POS. I was there when someone had asked for a refund and he was calling them “f**ckin crybabies”. I don’t even know how they can charge anyone money for their stay. These pictures look absolutely nothing like what they said! Please avoid this place by all means and Wyndham should be very ashamed of that hotel.

The lady who was at the front desk when we arrived, was OUTSTANDING. Her fabulous attitude and kindness to weary travelers was above and beyond the bare minimum effort that is all too often accepted.

Quick & friendly check in, clean & spacious room, beautiful pool area & a Mexican restaurant on site. Sandwich, juice & water grab bag breakfast. Easy parking.

When I can checked it, it was smooth. Never gave directions on where to go to find my room or the elevator or about the WiFi. Room was comfortable and cozy. Checking out the reception was in the back room playing with her dog. Thankfully another woman saw us and checked us out.

the outside area was unkept not mowed not trimmed not edged. no pretty shrubs. no flowers the elevator did not work-1 out of the 2. NO restaurant- no breakfast of any sort No coffee in the room No coffee for the public except for a pot she brewed in the office and you had to ask her to make you a cup of coffee. pool looked lovely was indoors. the halls were not cooled ./ the pool made the area hot with no air conditioning. you can see it was a nice hotel in past years but not up to par now. It was sad to me. Surprised it is in the boondocks very unbusy area. .

My room was nice and clean. My only complaint is bar and restaurant were both closed. Pool was nice but the sauna was also closed. Didn't care for the free breakfast,(no choices). Breakfast was always the same thing, sausage egg biscuit, apple juice, water. Should atleast have a few selections ike fresh fruit, danish, choice od beverage, etc... Overall i enjoyed my stay, but could have easily been better ....

It was advertised as Breakfast Included (But, no,, only "grab & go" which bags were not visible next morning. It advertised a "restaurant on premises" but there was none. We needed help to get the door key to work; young desk clerk was very helpful; also who gave us good informaton for nearby restaurants.

In the name of free breakfast they were handing a granola bar and small juice bottle on day 1 and just granola bar on day 2. Did not know they are so cheap. This hotel is in remote and to eat you have to go way out to eat. The resturant Mama jones sucks(they servers spoiled coleslaw salad).

When selecting this hotel, the website said that the hotel has free breakfast. We were disappointed when we found out that there was no breakfast. That forced us to pay for four extra meals that we did not anticipate or budget for for our trip. Plus, had we known the hotel did not actually have breakfast at this time (and also the on site restaurant and bar were closed indefinitely), we would've booked elsewhere. Our room was dirty and there were 3 holes in the walls with exposed wires. The hotel grounds in general were very dirty. Oh, and the back entrance door simply never locked. Anyone could've entered the hotel through the unmonitored back entrance at any time day or night.

The property was a bit run down. The pool was closed, which was disappointing because that is mainly why we chose to stay there. Breakfast was a bag with a frozen Jimmy Dean sandwich and a bottle of juice.
