The bed was nice, everything was clean, and it was good to have a wall thermostat. However, there wasn’t much in the breakfast area, the door hits anyone using the bathroom (which was small in general), and the elevator seemed to need maintenance (slow and jolting).

Loved the hotel but very disappointed about the pet fee. Your Hotels site quoted a lower pet fee but when I checked in, the pet fee was $50. We were exhausted so I didn’t try to find another hotel. Small parking lot but overall nice place.

Stayed two days. They did not clean the room on first morning. We had to ask for towels. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice. Beds were super high. It cost too much for laundry so couldn't wash clothes. Things were adequate. Decor was awful. Very dark in halls.

I’ll just share from start to finish… Booked a room via Expedia, Standard King room - nothing crazy. Get there, parking lot is very small, along with the amount of space between cars. Anyway, we check in, head up to the room. It’s a room with two queen beds. Not what I booked. Husband went down to get it fixed, since I paid for a King room. He was told that she booked all the king rooms and that’s all that was left. That I was also contacted through Expedia, which I wasn’t, to notify me of the situation. Which I wasn’t. No email, no text, no message in the Expedia app. Didn’t even offer to compensate for the error on their part. I shouldn’t have been able to book a room of that kind if there wasn’t any available. Then after all that, the TV doesn’t even work. Ok option if you just need a place to put your head for the night, but don’t expect much from it.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating and the rooms were pretty clean and the beds comfortable. However the hallway carpets on our floor were dirty and the place was dated and needed refurbishing, our bathroom door was very chewed up on the bottom; room 319. Most distressing of all were the new pet fees! From $50 to $100.00

First thing, I was hit with a $45.00 early check-in fee. I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 am and was informed that if I wanted immediate access to a room, I would be required to pay a US$ 45.00 fee. Secondly, they do not clean their rooms on a daily basis. I was shocked when the front desk Manager informed me the rooms were not cleaned daily.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and everything was as stated in the room description/amenities. Breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts I have had at other places. The bed and linens were very comfortable. I have 2 complaints, bath towels were very small and I saw 2 roaches in the bathroom during my 1 night stay.

The staff always accommodate our leaving my mother’s car while we drive her south to be with family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We choose this hotel every time we go to Tyler. The breakfast set up with one small cup dispenser for coffee was a little hard for those of us who are hearty coffee drinkers.

Location and property was very nice. Some trouble with room key. Television did not work properly. After several attempts and asking for a different room, we were finally able to settle down and rest. Room was very clean, bottom of bathroom toilet needed cleaning. Very comfortable bed.

Hotel was clean and friendly staff. Only negatives is it’s next to a major intersection so road noise through windows was a little annoying. If you could get a backside room it would probably be perfect. Morning breakfast was extremely spartan.

This was our second visit to the Baymont by Wyndham in Tyler. Nice breakfast every morning & the rooms are clean. I’ve been to some 4 star hotels where the air condition never cooled the room enough and the hot water was timid. Not here! It actually got so cold I had to get my husband to turn the ac off so I could warm up! Nice place & next time we are in Tyler, I would definitely stay there again.

It wasn’t terrible but there were a couple things that stood out. I work nights at the hospital which makes it difficult for check ins bc they typically don’t start until 3 pm. Most if not all hotels I’ve stayed at have allowed me to check in early if my rooms is ready and available. At Baymont, they charged me $40 for early check in which has never happened. If that’s the policy, fine. I’d rather pay than sleep in my car from 0730 to 1500. So that was the first inconvenience. I get to my room which is spacious and adequate. The face towels weren’t up to my standards. One had some reddish stains on it and the other had tiny hairs woven into the threads. I typically bring my own towels, so I ignored that. I slept there for three days. As I stated previously I work nights. So on the day of check out I spoke with the front desk employee to see if I could have a late check out. He stated they offer late check out until noon. Before check out even began I’m getting knocks on the door every ten minutes and calls to the room. Which to me meant that information was not relayed to the other staff. That part was the worst because I really needed that extra hour of sleep before driving a long distance especially after a 12 hour shift. Then when I go to hand in key, the man wouldn’t give me a printed receipt. Which I’ve also never been denied. I need them for my records. Its was an average stay, the breakfast options ok. La Quinta down the road is a lil more expensive but better!

No soap in the bathroom - I checked in really late, around 12:30AM. Fortunately I had my own. Bed was really comfortable, did not move all night~!. Breakfast was good and hot. Coffee options were great! Loved the early check in via a text. Made checking in when I arrived so late that much easier!
