Microwave did not work, tv did not work, no hair dryer, had to ask for a waste basket and cups. No coffee available. Pool was closed. Beautiful sculptures out front. Restaurant was closed. Only two towels. Sheets were clean. Bed was comfortable.

In its' better days as a Days Inn, it was a decent place to stay. The Norwood Inn? Not so much. Arrived at 11 p.m. on a Friday night, and was told at check-in that the credit card terminal was not working. So, had to go to an ATM and get cash to pay, being charged service fees by both banks, which should have been knocked-off of the bill from the top. Went to shower in the morning - no shower curtain. The pool has been closed for a very long time. The parking lot is poorly-lit. Their Orbitz listing should not state "breakfast included" because it is an absolute joke - granola bars. The only saving grace was the rate. If you just need someplace to sleep, it is okay at best.

This is the old DAYS INN, they have DISH network, and only truly get 5 channels. The beds are old, the pool (indoor) is closed permanently. The desk agent left my drivers license in his copier so I had to drive back from Baraboo, WI. It’s a total failing mess! Not recommended for anyone, it’s not even worth $50. The desk agent said he wanted $5 for tax even though Expedia always pays tax as part of the upfront charge anyway, so yes, they are that janky.

The pool was closed, the ice machine was broken, the hotel was VERY filthy, had a weird smell to it, had a very unsafe feeling to it. Very shady people around. The only things that have been cleaned or updated are the pictures shown in this listing, everything outside of those few images are squaller.

The toilet seat was missing a bolt which was very loose. Told feont desk and they sais the maintenance person was busy. The pool was closed and looks to have been closed for some time. Otherwise it was clean.

Room was NOT clean: soap particles left on counter & toothpaste on hairdryer. We had to ask for a TV remote. Our window was not locked. Ice machine was not working, pool was closed, breakfast room counter had not been wiped down. limited breakfast: out of OJ and no coffee creamer, no light beside the desk, hall carpet was stained.

This property is a good, no frills option when you just need a place to stay and don't require much from the one apparent staff member. We appreciated it was clean. A few updates to the rooms and amenities would go a long way. I would choose this again in the same situation. Be aware the property is two stories with no elevator.

Staff was friendly but hotel looked nothing like pictures. Very run down. Ceiling open with wires showing and water dripping in. No toilet seat in bathroom in room. Heat went out, staff did fix that. Mattress was stained. Hair in the shower.

Check in took quite a long time despite not being busy. The next morning, we were going to leave for breakfast and come back to the room. In closing the door, we saw a cockroach on the outside of the door. Immediately we emptied our things from the room, told the staff on duty (shpwed them a video), and left

Cockroach and other bugs. No working Air Condition, so the window had to be open, which then allowed weed smell to enter and yelling. The worst part was sticky green blankets under the comforter. They smelled and had an awful stickiness to them.

I would not recommend this place unless you want dirty floors and bugs everywhere in your room. Our TV was broken, stains on the walls and counter tops, bugs EVERYWHERE, stuff all over the floor- it looked like no one cleaned it from the last guest. Housekeeping knocked on our door after we checked in! The stairwell smelt like vomit and the air in the whole building was stale and had no movement. Not impressed with what we got for the price we paid. Will not be returning!

Absolutely dirty. Mildew..unvaccumed room, bottle caps on floor, one bed had used sheets on it..stained but fresh stains..no towels in bathroom, 1/4 roll of toilette paper..broken tiles, no internet, tv did not work, i cannot belive it was even on orbitz. We could not find logding so late in the day when we arrived from an 6 hour trip. Pool is not in order, not that wed use it but still advertised. When we went out to dinner, doors open in the back for anyone to walk in, hallways reeked of Marijuana, we slept in our clothes on top of the comforter after spraying with lysol we bought. Bed was as hard as plywood. Microwave was filthy too!!!!! When we left this morning we peeked in a dingy room outside the front desk where the "so called" continental breakfast area was, there were generic nutrigrain bars, cereal with a jug of luke warm milk on the counter...can anyone say listeria? The counter people were disgusting and Rude. Reporting to BBB, Attorney General and the Health Department as we both felt sick after even staying in that terrible non ventilated room. Demanding a refund!

Rundown, what appears to be in the bathroom a clear handprint that looks bloody on the door frame with drops of blood in the bathroom, and the bathroom door looks like it was punched in. I do have pictures of it all. I will never stay there again. I didn’t comment to the staff which I probably should’ve, but I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could.

This hotel should be condemned. A sign said pool was closed for maintenance but there isn't any maintenance done according to appearance. Everything was dirty and in poor condition. The housekeeping consisted of 2 people cleaning at night and didn't even have shoes on. Our keycard was programmed but didn't work and a jey was needed to let us in. Avoid this hotel!

This hotel is trash. I wasn’t given a key to my room because the reader was broken, so every time we needed to enter our room, we needed to go to the front desk to get the employee to let us in. Saturday night we waited for 10 minutes ringing the bell until we finally called the hotel to get someone to come to the front desk to let us in our room. The room was barely over 50° when we checked in. The sink didn’t drain. The couch was broken, and there was a mouse in our room. Trash. 0/10.

Let's start with when I got to the entrance was hard to find. when I did finally find it. I was not as pictured. when I was able to check in the service was just ok. I reserved a king size bed. I ended up with two queen size beds. The curtain was hanging halfway off the curtain rod. I went to watch a little tv before going to sleep and all it said was no signal. During the night the AC kept shutting off which made the room get very hot. When I got up in the morning to take a shower there was used small bottles of shampoo on top of the shower rod. They claim a continual breakfast but the was nothing. The hallways smelled and trash bags in the hallway from another guest that live there at the hotel. all in all i will never step foot back into that place again.

When we checked in and went to the room it was very hot in the room. We left for a bit and came back and still hot in the room. I went to the front desk and told them and asked if we could move. He said no we are booked and had the maintenance man come. Well he put a new air-conditioning in. I went to take a shower and the clog wouldnt drain along with the sink. Very terrible stay. Rude workers

They didn’t have a key card since the machine is broken and we are right by the exit and asked us to leave door ajar if we lefted. They didn’t upgrade us to a better room since bathroom sink didn’t drain

When we arrived at the hotel they were not able to find our reservation I made over 1 month prior. I had made the reservation as it was an extremely busy weekend in that area with multiple college graduations occurring over 2 days. I was then on the phone with them for over 45 minutes and had to proceed to drive the 4 hours back home as they were not able to get us a room. Overall a terrible experience and I would highly recommend a different hotel and booking service.

First time staying here. The staff was outstanding and my particular room was clean, comfortable, quiet and overall very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and based soley on my experience, I would recommend this hotel to others.

Upon arriving to check in at around 9pm, front desk staff told us they did not have a room available despite the fact we reserved it through Expedia weeks prior. Staff said they could see the reservation but that they did not have an open room, and we should go through Expedia for a refund because we wouldn't be staying there for the night. Obviously, this was quite upsetting as we were promised a place to stay and were told to leave. Terrilble place, and left after first night, and can't get a hold of Expedia for a refund. Wouldn't recommend going to the hotel or going through expedia! Out$350 if they don't contact me bad customer service!

Nothing at this property worked, I was not even greeted when I came to check in, ignored, accused of not having a reservation, etc. Nothing worked in the room, huge cockroaches in the room, black water coming out of faucets, this is the worst property I've ever been at. I demand a refund.

Our Valentine’s Day was spoiled by the experience at this hotel. I had booked a Luxury room with a king bed to enjoy after a nice dinner in the city. We were given one (out of two) working keys to a room with two double beds even though King bed was in the description that I signed at check in. No upfront communication about that. Response when I pointed it out was simply “We don’t have any king beds. You didn’t book with me; you’ll have to call someone if you want to cancel.” Completely rude! If there was an error in their system or coordination with Orbitz, he could have called in advance or at least mentioned the snafu upon check in and offered to cancel if it wasn’t satisfactory. It wasn’t and so we ended up driving 40 minutes north in a snowstorm that we had wanted to avoid. Pitiful.

In its' better days as a Days Inn, it was a decent place to stay. The Norwood Inn? Not so much. Arrived at 11 p.m. on a Friday night, and was told at check-in that the credit card terminal was not working. So, had to go to an ATM and get cash to pay, being charged service fees by both banks, which should have been knocked-off of the bill from the top. Went to shower in the morning - no shower curtain. The pool has been closed for a very long time. The parking lot is poorly-lit. Their Orbitz listing should not state "breakfast included" because it is an absolute joke - granola bars. The only saving grace was the rate. If you just need someplace to sleep, it is okay at best.

Light bulbs were burnt out or missing, the room wasn’t clean, and service was awful. There was no elevator. I was afraid to take a shower. There weren’t outlets to use for computer or phone charging. The lobby had a peculiar smell, and the pool was out of order.

This property was noisy, poorly maintained and didn’t feel safe. They challenged me on my reservation (tried to give me a room with one bed instead of two). When I got to the room they intimately gave me, there was visible debris on the floor, grease and grime on the furniture and the sheets looked slept-in. I notified the staff that the room had clearly not been cleaned and they gave me a new room which was much better. It looks like most of the building had fallen into disrepair and they save the few acceptable rooms for those who complain. It seemed like there were people living there and generally felt unsafe.

We booked here because of the large pool and were sad to hear that it was closed for maintenance. Property was close to event center which is nice but the walls are paper thin. Staff were very kind and accommodating.

When we stayed there, there was suppose to be a pool, nope no pool,continental breakfast, didn't get that either. The pool was closed for repair and the breakfast, was what they called, "grab and go." The room smelled like mildew and smoke, not a pleasant smell. I think that when there are repairs being done or the continental breakfast is nonexistent, this should have been disclosed to us before we booked. According to the workers it's been like this for awhile now.

We stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was cereal and granola bars, and one morning they actually had some bananas. No working ice machine, and the pool looks like it is on a permanent vacation. The refrigerator in our room needed to be defrosted, and the door would not shut tight, so we could not use it at all. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was okay.

Whatever you do , do not stay at this hotel. It is a complete sham , as there is no fireplace , anywhere to be found on the premises. It feels as if you are going in to a third world country.It's dark dingy , and the staff is very unhelpful. I really wish I could get reimbursed for this hotel. It was not as described on the website. I walked in & immediately walked back out. Smelled like a giant litterbox full of cats. Parking lot was not well lit. Seemed as it was a hub for Amazon drivers. Would not recommend this hotel.

They’re cheap but money hungry. They tried to charge for literally every request I made. Breakfast is peanut butter jelly sandwiches EVERYDAY! They had knats and I seen a roach. The ceiling was leaking! 0/10 I don’t recommend
