Went for the weekend. My husband was playing in a golf tournament. I was going to relax by the pool. I got there at 2:40 p.m. was told to come back at 3:00 p.m. I drove around and looked for the pool. The pool is green, black and there are no chairs around it. When I checked in the young girl said your room is facing the pool. I ask her is there another pool because the one I saw is green and nasty. She said it is under maintenance and has been for about a week. This was not true. I did not look on the reviews but when I went to look it show that the pool was green as far back as the first of July. If you are wanting to relax by the pool do not stay at this hotel.

This property is poorly managed, and maintained. Ice machine was broken, pool was disgusting, bed was uncomfortable, and towels didn't smell clean. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room itself looked like the pictures, it was fine. But the rest of the property could have been prettied up more to look as good as the rooms. Also we couodnt flush the toilet. The pool was filthy and green looking with stuff in it, there were full garbage cans in the breezeway leading to the stairs. It just wasn't pretty on the outside like most motels are. This is my first and last time staying at a Quality Inn.

Pool was listed as an amenity. The main reason we selected this hotel. We got there and the pool was filled closed and full of green water. Hair clogged shower drain. Cut my finger on broken porcelain on toilet tank by flusher. Sheets were stained. Room was comfortable. It was ok for the price.

AC was off and because of the storm it was extra humid and muggy in the room when we arrived. Pool was out of order. Definitely wasn’t like this last year when we stayed here. Not a bad hotel though.

Pool was just dirt and no water. Outside of building is disrepair. Room fridge wasn’t on but did start working. No TV signal so nothing to watch at all. Breakfast area dirty and supplies ran out and not filled.

Phone was dead and it took an hour and 15 minutes to get staff to come to our room and hook up the TV. Short staffed was an issue. There was a hole at the base of the door. The breakfast was horrendous! Orange liquid was supposed to be juice. No toast, bread or pastries available. Coffee was terrible and the food was cold. No kitchen staff available. The downstairs bathrooms in the dining area were out of order. No ice machine or laundry service available.

Room was dirty and smelled as if it was soiled carpet. There was stains on my sheets as well as dirt from the previous guest still on the toilet. Shower had not been cleaned. I’m so disappointed in my stay and did not get any help from the hotels representative when I reached out to have accommodations done.

There was mold in 4 places on the ceiling, the curtains did not close all the way, it was noisy from the train but also other guests walking up and down the walkway all night. There was hair on three towel and walking without shoes on thr floor is impossible. The floors were dusty and dirty.

This place was disgusting with over flowing trash cans throughout the property and in our room. We went to the room and the bed had no linens on it and the bathroom was filthy with the toiket lid up and pee on the rim. The pool was green moldy color. We immediately asked for a redund and found a hotel elsewhere. This place looked like something of a murder horror story. There was another lady at the ciunter same time as me asking for a refund. None of us could stay there!

The door to my room was wide open. I was scared to enter the room because I didn't know if someone was already in the room which was open to the public/outside. I drove back to the front desk and a gentleman walked to the room as I drove back the room. He made sure noone was in the room before I entered. Nats and mosquitoes were everwhere in the room, carpet was dirty, tables were dusty and there was a fool odor in the room. I would not recommend this hotel.

First of all, they sign us to room the door wide open I called the office. She reassigned me to a different room when an employee comes out of the old room. He gets the key to go to the room that I was assigned to and I tell him it’s my room we go in. There’s a towel on the sink used the key cover with the room number and Wi-Fi password on by the TV. There’s a bracelet that goes around the wrist when you go into an event then when we get ready for bed, the sheets were dirty they were stained.

We had difficulty locking the door. You could see the day light through the cracks of the door. The bathroom light did not work. We had to use our phones as lights. The smell the AC had smelled like mildew. Could we have asked to move yes but we didn’t want to go through the trouble. We were not greeted in the lobby. We will not return to this facility. Now i understand why it was so cheap

The television didn’t work. The toilet ran constantly. Vent cover was falling off in the bathroom, the inside lock on the front door had bare wiring showing. Soap wrapper was found inside my pillow case. I notified the office upon leaving. She wrote the items down for the staff to repair.

Breakfast was very slight. Room clean, but had a couple of problems. Slow drain in bathroom, Light bulb needed changing. But I have reported repairs to the staff and they are very helpful. No cable tv working at this time. Convenient location, right off California street, behind Starbucks, and Braums.

Room was clean. TV didn’t work. Toilet ran non stop all night. Hard to believe they didn’t know about it. Stayed in other Quality Inns this one was not the normal stay. Front desk was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Need to do some PM on rooms.

Check-in was average. The wi-fi did not work the whole time i was there so I couldnt do work from my business laptop. The door was loose and looked like it could be easily broken into. Went out for there "free breakfast" at 8 and the pickings were super slim. A few towels in the bathroom felt damp and had stains on them. The floor could have definitely been vaccuum better...the bed seemed clean enough but i still slept on top of sheets. I usually never leave a review but I feel with this poor experience it was definitely necessary. If management considers reaching out to make things right I would definitely consider updating my review. However, it didn't seem like anybody that works at that hotel cares.

The room smelled musky, like wet furniture… the chair was stained like it had been peed on or something was spilled on it. The door did not lock other than the key card lock. AC was weak and humid. Needs updating. The toilet was hard to flush & made weird flushing noises. The tub only had a hole for a drain. The shower curtain had stains on it. There was a smoke detector in the ceiling but the actual smoke detector was missing & wires hanging from it. But for a one night stay it was clean.

The property looked abandoned. The lobby smelled good, The check in was ok. The green areas looked neglected, the grass was all overgrown. The pool was green. The shower curtain has holes so the wall at the bathroom. The reservation was for 4, we called the lobby because there were only two towels. The call was made around 8:30pm and they said before 11pm they will deliver them, they never did.

When I got my key I was Verbally told what room—got lucky and remembered it. There was trash in the grass—including a dumped “to-go” meal container with leftovers. My room had an odor—that didn’t go away as i acclimated to the room. It smelled musky! I couldn’t get the tv to work—called the front desk and he said he would be right over. 40 minutes later I walked to the lobby. A new person was there and said he would come over AFTER their GM Meeting—and he did—if were the GM, I would want the customer taken care of first. The problem with the tv—it had to be on hdmi12??

Had to go back the the front desk 2 times to get a room that had been cleaned. The first 2 definitely had not been cleaned. Not made or changed sheets. Dirty towels in room. They were so nonchalant about it too. Like oh ok my system says it is. They didn't seem to care that morning when I voiced my concerns at check out. The 3rd room was finally clean but the air was completely off in June in Tx so we had to wait a solid hour for it to feel remotely comfortable in there. Also the toilet ran all night long. At that point at least it was a cleaner room so we didnt bother going back to the office yet again. Will not stay here ever again.

The front desk clerk was rude. My family and i arrived early to check into a room. The front desk clerk didn't even bother to check to see if there was any other rooms available. He seemed either incompetent or like he didn't want to be there. We went somewhere else and were able to check into a room early. The La Quinta Inn was much more accommodating.

The hotel sits back off the highway behind a couple of budget friendly fast food establishments. The facility is under new management that is in the process of improving the facilities.We were in town for a funeral so we didn't partake of the pool or really explore the complex. Our room was clean, amenities were stocked and the ac worked. We just really needed a place to sleep as all of our activities were away from the room. The complex is well lit at night and patrolled by police due to proximity to late night fast food establishments. There is a brand new gated apartment complex behind the hotel. We did not have any issues with loud noise from the apartments or other guests. We felt safe and were able to relax. We would stay here again.

Hotel is being worked on. Desperately needs remodeling. Housekeeping was poorly done. Breakfast was not well stocked. The creamer was empty and we had to ask for coffee cups. The waffle maker kept tripping the breaker. The breakfast room was dimly lit. There was only a small portable ice maker and it was empty. It was a convenient location for us and was comfortable enough for a couple of nights. The rate reflects the above mentioned issues compared to other chains in the area. I chose this hotel because the reviews I saw were decent but none of them mentioned any of the issues so I was a little surprised by the condition of the hotel

Lousy excuse for breakfast. Cold eggs and sausage. Room has sticky floors. Lamps were full of dust. Staff never said thank you for your patronage. They really didn’t care. While I never say never, this hotel will be way down the list for any future stay in Gainesville. This facility gives Quality Inns and Hotels. Com a bad reputation.

Terrible hotel. do not recommend. They say they offer breakfast but it is not true! They had no coffee or juice cups. They had no food! There was 1 container of yogurt, and the 'Hot Food' bins were turned on but there were only a few dried & burnt pieces of something(?),...as I could not even determine what it had been [...potatoes, perhhaps?]. The waffle batter came out in one huge "glump", then it drops a cupful of just milky water(!) - it was disgusting. My workmates and I had to walk to McDonalds, which fortunately was very close. So, if you stay at this hotel just know that you will have to get breakfast nearby.

Not so good, the room had a bad odor, like dirty sweaty body odor and there were crickets in the room. There was only decaf coffee in the room. Continental breakfast was not that great, the waffle batter had gone bad and potatoes were not fresh
