Staff was fabulous! We were in a room on the 2nd floor & thought the lighting was horrible so opened the shades & it was the building with a landing. Tons of birds. Chirping. Bird poop all over along with all over our car. The gym was being renovated:( but over all....a pleasant stay.

Great room and comfy bed. Very clean, too. Only problem was in the parking lot. There are tons of birds in the trees outside that will poo all over your cars. Stay away from the trees.

I paid full price and the lobby was under construction and they used the gym area to store their materials so the gym wasn't useful. When I booked I was not aware of this and the room that I was in smelled due to the construction. The staff was great and friendly. The breakfast was really good.

Under renovation. I only stay in hotels with a gym. All the gym equipment was gone. The parking lot needs repair, it has HUGE potholes. Breakfast was decent and it’s conveniently located near the venue. The staff is nice. The cable was out do to a storm and the air conditioning is loud.

Would’ve given 5 stars on everything but there was constitution being done & the pool was closed. The service desk was very helpful. The beds were comfy & the breakfast was good. Overall good & safe. Would stay again

Water leak on your head in the lounge. Roachs in the room. No room clean your visit. Want a towel you must call lobby. Soap call lobby. Pool full of bugs can’t swim. Tons of bugs crawling and flying around in lobby and door way. I almost fell trying to go outside.

Found trash still left from last visitor. Shower had clump of hair hanging on wall. The mattress was uncomfortable. Very loud, could hear the neighbor through the thin walls. For being what looked like a brand new hotel and the price I just expected more.

Front desk staff were great. Parking is near impossible if you have a trailer. Facility could use some deep cleaning and updating. Room was mostly clean, but lightbulb was burned out in the lamp, and there was hair in the bathtub. Also don’t look between the beds/headboards and the wall.

The hotel is very over priced with small rooms. The halls, lobby and sing area are not properly air conditioned. The parking lot has trees that are full of birds so the sidewalk is covered in bird poop. I was parked in the handicap and my car was grossly covered in poop. Disgusting

Great staff. Unfortunately there was a small smear of blood on one pillowcase and a tiny spot on the comforter. Probably from changing the bedding between guests. Front desk gave me new pillowcases for the bed and offered to change our room. We declined since we already corrected the situation. Front desk clerk very apologetic. Rest of room was fine. This won’t stop us from staying here again.

This hotel, in general, was exceptionally clean anywhere you looked. Our room was also extremely clean. Check-in and check-out were both fast and friendly. My husband enjoyed the breakfast also; both hot and cold options were available. I would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn to anyone needing a hotel in the Gainesville area!

Check in was ok, kind of slow. No remote in the room, phone didn’t work. The lobby bathrooms were extremely hot and uncomfortable to use. In the morning the cleaners popped the door open without saying anything and my girlfriend was in the room getting dressed. No bird control for the parking lot. Bird droppings everywhere and only a sign on the front desk that says “sorry, we can’t do anything about it “

We came to see the Tim McGraw concert at Lucus Oil Live. It was only 5 miles away so the location was great. The room was large and spacious. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

This was, by far, the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in due to poor construction. I don't believe there's any sound insulation between the rooms AT ALL. When I say you can hear everything, I'm not joking. I was kept awake until after midnight by the couple in the next room arguing, then "making up" (if you know what I mean), then arguing again this morning. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I have stayed in noisy hotels before, but this one takes the cake. It's unfortunate, because the front desk staff was friendly and efficient, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good, but I'd never stay here again.

The hotel was under construction, so can’t really speak on the atmosphere. Glad they are updating! The room was nice though. The beds were squeaky and you could hear everything going on while in the room. We could hear someone watching tv at 2:00am, the kids in the room next to us and even people walking in the hallway. We were on the third floor and I could hear the cars on the highway. I have never stayed in a room that had no sound proofing whatsoever. The hotel was good for the price and close to the casinos. Just don’t stay here if you are a light sleeper or bothered by noise.

Room was clean. Construction around the area mad it a little difficult to get around. The front desk clerk at check in was inconsistent to us at arrival. Just as I walked up to her in an attempt to check in, she answered a phone call. She ended up staying on the phone for 20+ minutes without acknowledging us. This was frustrating. She remains on the phone when she mouthed to me, “driver’s license”. She then checked us in without talking with us at all. I’m a Hilton reward member and was attempting to give her my number. When she finally got off the phone, (26 minutes), she said she couldn’t add the reward number. Hotel was nice though.

I have never stayed at a hotel that would NOT let you check in one hour before check in time, UNTIL NOW. It's noisy and you can hear EVERYTHING. I am highly disappointed in "this" particular Hampton Inn (Hampton Inn is ALWAYS my go-to hotel anytime I travel). I would not stay at this particular location again.

Once coming into the hotel, our lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We headed up to our room and once we came into the room, there was someone already in that room! Which was a extremely scary situation. Thank goodness we didnt see the man that was in our room. He said Hello? And all i had seen was a pair of jeans on the floor. I apologized and me and my wife left the room. Went back to the lobby and we explained to the lady at the front desk what had happened, she was very apologetic. She did let us know that she was new to this position and called her manager. Which she did say there was no availability, but But, her manager told her to up grade our room to a junior suite. Which was very nice and we enjoyed the upgrade. We visit Gainesville,Tx alot because we enjoy the casinos. But we have never experienced this situation ever, which was very disturbing to us!

I arrived @ 2pm and checkin was @ 3. The receptionist informed me I had to come back at 3 and may have to wait until 5 pm for my room. (She wasn’t sure when housekeeping will be finished cleaning) I choose to stay at another Hotel. The staff wasn’t friendly.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Good breakfast offered. Don't park under the trees. The birds will leave your vehicle a mess but hotels warns guests. We would stay here again. Nice hotel for price! Also has Cracker Barrel next door so you can walk over for a meal. The negative is the road construction getting to and from the hotel but it is all along that corridor.
