Hotel Niza

We checked in but we’re not given beach view Sadly gave us road view Car parking expensive Bed not good Bar service very good and some good price wine

All was good, good service, fast check in, clean room . Just the lift was old fashion waiting long time and complicated system. Thank you

The hotel is right on the beach. The building is old but updated. The elevator is old fashioned open a door cage type, but very unique. The furniture and decorations in the lobby will throw you back into the early 1930’s. The rooms are small but well maintained. There’s a bar below where you can get breakfast while overlooking at the beach. Old but very affordable.

Their location on the beach can’t be beat. And the cafe/restaurant downstairs is fantastic. The hotel staff are so kind and helpful and the hotel is charming with its old time elevator. But there is no central air so the room can get hot unless you open the windows. This can let in noise or rain. But the sound of the surf is a natural white noise that is soothing.

Our room was located level 5 (53 )full beach views however we as Australia enjoy coffee & tea & beer in room no fridge or kettle Park 20 Euro per day safe and secure

The best thing about hotel Niza is the location and view of the beach if you paid an arm and a leg for it. Undoubtably it has one of the best panoramic views of the Concha beaches. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. Unfortunately, it pretty much stops there. They lacked several amenities for a 4 star hotel. The hotel room size was extremely small. We were asked to purchase a second room because our sea facing room only had a Twin sized bed and there were 3 of us. We were super hot in our hotel room as there was no AC and it was 80 F outside. We kept our window open to sleep at night but then we were victim to all the noise from the beach crowds. The elevator was from 1940’s for a maximum 2 people and was super slow (we usually ended up taking stairs). Also the location of the hotel was away from a lot great Tapas restaurants which were a minimum 15 min walk from it. In all, you get a great view and not much more of anything else at a very steep per night rate.

Beautiful hotel nearly on the beach with great staff. The old elevator is lovely but the hotel is completely renovated and we had a perfect stay. We did not eat but we liked the bar.

Great location. Helpful staff. No air conditioning in the room meant it was very hot. Parking on site however expensive

The hotel is in a great position for the beach and exploring the town. The car park is a limited number of spaces in a public underground car park you need to book your space and it has no direct access to the hotel and also be aware the charge is 22 euro per day

Having been a guest at the Maria Cristina and Londres hotels in San Sebastián, I was overwhelmed by the charm and comfort of this lovely, lovely hotel. The staff is superb. Two beautiful young ladies at the reception, Itziar and Irene were just spectacular. From the moment we checked in they were sincerely concerned about our happiness and were at once helpful and unforgettably sweet. The rooms are pristine with beautiful bathrooms. The restaurant offered friendly, elegant service with an amazing staff and amazing food. There are many elegant smaller hotels like the Niza all over Europe, but this is one I look forward in staying in on a future visit if just to be treated so specially by Itziar and Irene— memorably wonderful people.

Habitación pequeña pero limpia

El hotel está situado en el centro de la playa de la Concha. Las habitaciones con vistas al mar, una pasada. El trato muy amable. La limpieza genial. La única recomendación sería una oequeña nevera en la habitación.

The location is excellent for the purpose of the trip. The breakfast and dinning option are certainty good since the hotel offers a good tasty menu. The carpet in the room seemed old and smelly.

La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable y hasta aquí las buenas noticias. El hotel hace gala de ser antiguo con un ascensor del siglo pasado y un suelo de madera que cada vez que alguien de la planta andaba el suelo de la habitación de al lado se movía, Ya está mal que no tenga una mini nevera, pero que con 35 grados te dejen dos botellas de agua calientes pues hombre… el champú y el gel estaban en una estructura de plástico muy mala, de hecho en mitad de la ducha se cayó, menos mal que no me dio en un pie si no hubiera pasado mis vacaciones con un pie escayolado Por último, seleccioné una habitación con cama de matrimonio y nos pusieron dos individuales, esto tampoco es tan grave pero oye sumado a todo lo anterior pues si que desilusiona

Very scenic, room with view is worth the extra.

Necesita una reforma. Las puertas de la habitación no pueden cerrarse por dentro y además no encaja bien y se ve toda la luz del pasillo y se escucha a la gente hablar. No tiene mini nevera.

Posizione fantastica sulla passeggiata e sulla spiaggia. A due passi dal centro. Albergo stile anni 60 e forse l ascensore è proprio di quel periodo. Camera piccola con letto matrimoniale molto piccolo. Scarsamente insonorizzata. Buone le forniture del bagno. Staff gentile. Non so la colazione.

Beautiful room and a spectacular view on the ocean side.

Nice hotel, clean , pleasant with nice views. Staff accused me of double booking, we informed the front desk that we may stay 2 nights but will decide later, but he booked us while I booked later on Expedia. At check out the lady accused us of double booking and they lost the customer, how rude to accuse the customer for their incompetence.

Over priced for what is on offer. Room was very small, and facilities were poor. No safe. No fridge and no coffee making facilities. Beds were hard and uncomfortable, and foam pillows were poor and unsupportive. Staff at reception were delightful and welcoming on arrival, the only saving grace at this establishment. Staff elsewhere were poor, unfriendly and not anticipative in the slightest. At breakfast we had to ask for tea and coffee, it was never offered. Buffet replenishments only ever on request as staff didn’t seem to notice when they ran out of items. It often felt that outside customers were prioritised over hotel guests. The food in the restaurant in the evening was delicious, but our main course was served cold and when it was replaced it was still cold. No one bothered to check to see if it was any better, and there was no hint of an apology. No plates or a knife offered with cheese, again this had to be requested. It was tiresome. Staff need to go on a Customer service course. The manager, Borja was very responsive however, and handled our complaint extremely well, listening, empathising and offering an immediate solution. He’s the best asset in the restaurant but is not always there to see what is going on. He deserves a better team as in no way do they support him in offering a service that should delight the customer rather than making them wish they’d gone elsewhere. Overall I would not recommend this hotel and it did not represent good vaue for money.

Great hotel, some staff super pleasant , front desk lady accused us of their mistake, awful , did not ask what happened just said we did it. She should not be at front desk setting a bad tone for the entire hotel.

This is a wonderful historic hotel that has been freshly renovated. Perfectly sited on the main esplanade and beach.

Small boutique hotel. Front desk staff spoke English and available 24 hours a day. Great beach access. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from city center.
