Reccomend this property for its reasonable price, 85 for king bed. Nothing fancy, the Crave Bar at the end of the parking lot was excellent food and drink, cheese curds were the best I've ever had.

This is an older property that still has outdoor entrance to your room. But it is very clean and quiet...with nice beds. No breakfast...and no amenities.

Mattresses were not that comfortable. Refrigerator did not work. Parking was challenging because of the restaurant traffic.

Basic motel disguised by name & frilly exterior. Location was good for us, and good dining options nearby, but hotel could use some upgrades. No breakfast was a downside, as extra room could easily be converted.

Nothing about the room was clean. The towels were dingy. I had to ask for more towels upon arrival, as there were only two in the room. The sink had someone's food remains in the drain. The floor of the shower was cracked or marred. This photo bears no resemblance to the room. The air conditioner would turn off at night because it was on a motion sensor. However, worst of all, there was only one lock on the door, and no deadbolt. Additionally, when we first entered we found the window in the bathroom open, and it lacked a security lock when we closed it. This motel needs significant improvements. The parking is very convenient.

The exterior of the property was very dirty. We were on a 2nd floor room and to get up to our room we had to walk through a lot of bird feces and the handrail was covered in it as well. The latch on the shower door was broken.

Wasn't very clean. Killed three bugs on walls. Checked beds good. Dingy smell. Check the beds good.

We couldn’t stay here and left after checking out the room. Te sheets had crumbs and stains- the floor was filthy. Everything was grossly outdated. We would like a refund.

Room was clean and comfortable. Thankfully the bathroom had a heat lamp as it was extremely cold.

It was a quick and easy check-in. Parking lot isn't that big but seemed to have enough spaces. This is a very old motel. No updates where there should be. Standard key to get into the room. Old furniture, curtains, bathroom was outdated with water that took 10 mins to get warm. Door to the shower was hard to close and dark stains on the tiles. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower but no soap for the sink. Enough towels for 2 people. AC was hidden in a cupboard. Thankfully we didn't have to use it. The TV was so small. I'm thinking at the most 30" which sat across the room on a tall dresser. Only had antenna channels or Roku. It worked since we didn't stay too long in the room but it definitely could use some work. We had our dog too and it was good enough for that. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows.

Great value for the money. Clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Only concern is we could not get the Roku control acitvated to access our access to YouTube TV to view the television channels and programs on our account with YouTube despite following the instructions on the card in the room. We could only watch the basic TV channels that are on the motel's access system.

Hotel itself was good for a 1 night sleep the room was freezing when we entered but heated up within a reasonable time. The fridge was not plugged in but we didnt need it for the night. The walls are too thin, our neighbors were having quite the good time, had to turn on my music to fall asleep. Staff was friendly & helpful when front desk was called.

Although not the newest facility in the area, this facility checked all the boxes for us. We got a great price, and when we arrived the staff was very nice. The room was old, but in good shape and very clean. We could tell they had just shampooed the carpeting and the room smelled clean. The bed matrasses were a bit uncomfortable, but like the room they were very clean. We were worried about the area at first, but it quickly became obvious the area was very secure. Close by the freeway, and plenty of police presence. The resort was very well lit at night, and I wasn't worried about my vehicle. There was no noise from our neighbors, and the restaurant was so wonderful. This was such a nice location that we plan on going back again in the future.

Pros: Front desk and staff were friendly. Room was large, water pressure was great, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Aircon was ice cold Hotel located in a safe area. Cons: room was very outdated in need of an renovation. Microwave was supposed to be white but was faded to yellow along with the Aircon. Refrigerator looked old. Bathroom had yellow tile looked like from the late 70’s or early 80’s. Bed constantly slid from the wall (needs rubber pads to keep from sliding) In the current condition room should have cost $50 a night not $70.

This is an older motel that needs some updating. The bed was comfortable and they had access to streaming services which was great. If you're just going for a place to sleep, it's perfectly fine.

Very friendly front desk. Accommodated our request for early check in. Room very clean and comfortable. We have family nearby and are pleased to have found a spot to return to.

Dogs barking in the room next to us until 2 am and sporadically after that. Asked for a different room, right after we got in but they were full and unable to m9ve us. Asked for money back so we could go somewhere else, they refused. Miserable night.

Staff was very accommodating, had the overnight snow dealt with by 6am. Also, very willing to give me a late checkout to accommodate my move schedule. Really nice folks.

Great for the price Clean Fine room For the price hard to beat All I wanted was a clean bed to sleep in. It’s a convenient location. I’ll likely stay again. We stayed here night before the famous sausage 5/10k We were even offered a checkout at noon if needed so we could get back and shower. Very nice people.

Check in took over 15 minutes. No one at desk rang the bell and waited a few minutes. Rang bell again and still waited. Walked to back and noone to be seen. Waited a few more minutes 😫 Looked up phone number and called. Rang and Rang and Rang. Finally someone came from outside to help me. She had trouble finding our reservation. Then she gave us a key to a room that wasn't clean and had unmade beds. Back down to front desk goes my husband and this time a different person at front desk who gave us a room that was ready. Check in took almost 30 minutes We should have gotten compensated for the aggravation

They sold our room yo someone. We arrived to check in later and had no record of it. I had and have all confirmation and showed them.

When I arrived I was told my reservation from several month ago did not have a room assigned. The only thing available was two smaller beds instead of the king bed I reserved

Arrived mighty late due to late flight and they were kind enough to extend checkout for me. Friendly staff, well equipped room and comfortable bed - what I needed.

This is an iconic, historic property conveniently locatedi in Mequon I have stayed put contractors and guests there whnn i am booked my guests prope are too small for families BUT sudddenly he ratings are no longer accurrate Tthere is literally no manager on premises . The smoking poicy is not enforced Othe residents who eside in the hotel stand or outside your nonsmoking rooms and smoke Contractors compllained about a nonworking relevison for three days that could not be addressed because the manager "Andrew" was not availalbe - The internet is erratic becaus ... "Andrew" is not availble During the flood had a confirmation from hotels.com but the hotel was overbooked. Not a big deal . This happens. The protocol is for the hotel contact hotels.com to issue a refund find anoher room for the guest. That is why i use hotels.com However, the manager was not on premises or aavailable to call and did not authorize staff to call even hotels.com called the hotel to verfied the overboooking wheh hotels.com call them Three weeks later my refund was not processed by the manager ., Hotels ..com followed up and could not geta manager. The same day they did, s omeone at the hote put some bizarre note on the reservation The staff is frustrated with managment but cant help. I swtiched my bookings

Quiet location with easy access to I-43.

Nice location to Concordia University. Motel is dated. Could use more updates as some have been made.

Came to Milwaukee for a concert with a friend and needed somewhere to stay. It was a nice place to stay for one night. It was in a quiet neighborhood area. Would stay here again.

Wonderful, out of the city property at a great price. The staff is courteous and responsive. The grounds are well kept and the room is clean. When visiting Milwaukee, we will always chose the Chalet Mequon!

The rooms had plenty of space and was perfect for our stay. We do not stay in the room but get out and go. Everyone we came in contact with were extremely nice and helpful especially when our trip got extended because of car trouble. It was definitely a nice surprise and is a great price. We didn’t get to try the restaurant next door but heard it was great. The coffee shop up the street was amazing and we found the town to be extremely cute and friendly filled with restaurants and shops.
