Check in was very welcoming and informative, the room was very comfortable with Tea, Coffee etc. Bar and Restaurant is set in a relaxing environment with extremely friendly staff. Breakfast was reasonable The hotel is located in a very small village with walks along the Thames Would recommend this hotel

Room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Whilst it was a warm day, unable to sleep, even with a fan provided. Milk for tea in the morning was left out on the side, in the heat, and was off because of it. Breakfast choices were good but when asked for scrambled egg on white toast, the slice was from a 60p loaf of bread, whilst poached was served on lovely sourdough. A nice touch of slippers on the bed on arrival but stairs to rooms were extremely dangerous but it is an old building. Parking was nearly impossible as only 6/7 spaces for guests and pub go-ers were using them. No available parking in nearby streets. Whilst it was quaint and looked lovely, pictures did not reflect what was in real life. Unfortunately, it was overpriced for what was received.

All very pleasant, the food was fantastic, service was superb, awesome architecture! Advisory......Parking was difficult arriving during a busy period / shift. Not a major problem if you are patient and know / research, the " loop " around the village! Courtyard style carpark and approach road is hyper popular. 9.9/10..... I'll be back!!

Our room was lovely and clean, complimentary toiletries, and a good choice of coffee. We didn’t use the bar because we went out somewhere else, but we will go back to try their daytime dining. Room was okay, but dated. Kettle was full of limescale and had no filter, so, unusable. Toilet seat was broken and moved dramatically when using. Difficult to get water during the night as staff weren’t around. Pretty noisy outside too as people drinking outside which is where the rooms oversee. Breakfast was nice but when I came down there were no tables ready, they all had used plates and cutlery on. Staff were helpful when you could find them. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Cleanliness on some of the rooms were disappointing and carpets and wall were tired needing replaced, fixed or redecorated. Light fittings in room 4 in the bathroom is so high and unclear where to find it. Windows stuck in rooms.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The only issue was the banging kitchen door underneath my room which was noisy and irritating. The complimentary goods in the room were very nice.

Very pleasant staff with a warm greeting. I was shown to my room which was very small and only just accommodated a double bed. The bathroom was equally minute and sadly both were in need of refreshing the decor. The main negatives was the level of lighting that had little effect on the dark and dingy room. The area designated for tea/coffee etc and the only working area had no light at all so almost impossible to use. Nice touches along with a good range of complementary beverages were a complimentary bottle of London Pride and a small bottle of Prosecco. The room was quite noisy but One has to realise that it's a pub! The restaurant staff were very pleasant and the food was adequate. Breakfast was very slow.

Lovely 16th century inn near the river, which is great for history lovers. Breakfast was excellent. But the cosy room was very small and we were disturbed by the noise from the bar below. We could hear extremely loud conversation from a large group downstairs until midnight and then the staff clearing up until about 12.30. At times it sounded as though the staff were in our bathroom. Not the restful night we had hoped. We would definitely come back to visit the pub and restaurant but wouldn't stay again.

Great, quirky rooms above a pub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just a one night stay but it was good and we'd definitely return. Breakfast was really good in terms of both options and what arrived from the kitchen.

Lovely old building with all the quirks you wd expect. Bar and restaurant staff excellent. Would have liked a couple more lamps in our room as was quite dark and gloomy. Bed very comfortable, good delish.

Room name “Oxford”. Rooms fixtures/fitting and decorating was lovely. Calling it a “superior room” for me was stretching it purely down to the small size of the room. Reception on my the tv was pretty bad, making the tv irritating to watch. Plus the usb sockets by the kettle don't work. Pub is a stunningly beautiful

On arrival an amazing young lad helped with bags and putting bikes away. Rooms excellent, food excellent. Be nice if breakfast staff was as personable as she was efficient. No hairdryer in room. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Amazing experience! Staff were super helpful, they don’t typically offer room service but it was a busy Saturday travelling alone for work and the lovely women on reception helped accommodate me! Food was amazing, room was amazing and cosy! Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous! Stayed at the Bull Inn for a weekend OCR event. The staff were amazing & friendly. There was an issue with our room but it was swapped immediately. There was an air purifier supplied. For the age of the building, it was spot on. Only issue was car parking. Maybe have allocated hotel residents places? Food was delicious. Excellent choice of delicious breakfasts. Would definitely stay again

The pleasant experience I had at the Bull Inn was just what I was looking for. The staff were all overly welcoming and kind. The building being hundreds of years old was still in very good condition. My room was laid out well, bed was comfortable, and I had great water pressure along with plenty of hot water. The restaurant was absolutely excellent with some very good choices. Not one complaint and I'll hope to make it back someday.

We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Room was warm and cosy and downstairs the bar area was spacious and warm with lovely log fires burning! Breakfast in the morning was fabulous! View out the window and surrounding walks were exhilirating - some lovely views of the river over the bridge which is very nearby.

A lovely place to stay at when seeing a show at The Mill at Sonning. It is an easy walking distance to go there. Very close to Thames path so great for walking too.

Very pleasant staff with a warm greeting. I was shown to my room which was very small and only just accommodated a double bed. The bathroom was equally minute and sadly both were in need of refreshing the decor. The main negatives was the level of lighting that had little effect on the dark and dingy room. The area designated for tea/coffee etc and the only working area had no light at all so almost impossible to use. Nice touches along with a good range of complementary beverages were a complimentary bottle of London Pride and a small bottle of Prosecco. The room was quite noisy but One has to realise that it's a pub! The restaurant staff were very pleasant and the food was adequate. Breakfast was very slow.

We had a wonderful stay in this 600 year old pub! The room was unique, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was fabulous! We would thoroughly recommend The Bull Inn.

Everythibg was 10/10 the only problem i encountered was the dinner options, i dont eat meat so Inonly had a couple of options to choose from.

All very pleasant, the food was fantastic, service was superb, awesome architecture! Advisory......Parking was difficult arriving during a busy period / shift. Not a major problem if you are patient and know / research, the " loop " around the village! Courtyard style carpark and approach road is hyper popular. 9.9/10..... I'll be back!!

Amazing experience! Staff were super helpful, they don’t typically offer room service but it was a busy Saturday travelling alone for work and the lovely women on reception helped accommodate me! Food was amazing, room was amazing and cosy! Would definitely stay again.

A lovely well appointed room, albeit very “cosy”, and the bathroom/shower facilities were excellent. A well cooked delicious breakfast was served in the library, and the staff were wonderful throughout, despite being incredibly busy. The only downside for me were the stairs to the rooms, as they are very steep and narrow, but overall we had a very enjoyable stay here.
