We did not have breakfast as they didn't have healthy breakfast choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was good. Room was clean but needed a bit of tlc. Windows and curtains nt good.

Room was nice but a long way up - three narrow flights of stairs. Many people wouldn’t like it so a prewarning would be good. Welcome great. Facilities fine, and in a good central location. Information to get to car park could be a lot clearer.

Excellent town centre location. Really good mix of bar atmosphere and quieter restaurant for dinner. Food was really superb and all the staff were so friendly, helpful and looked aft ye r us well. We will return.

Excellent stay apart from the useless shower with no water pressure. Very very bouncy floor boards which made one pitch and roll with any walk around the room. Not for anyone with mobility or balance issues. Good parking. Lovely staff.

The place was dead after 10 PM (on a Monday night in late October) and the staff made it clear that having a pint wasn't really OK because they wanted to close. That just didn't create a very welcoming atmosphere in an otherwise lovely pub.

Excellent location on the High Street, lovely pub with good drinks choice. The room was very comfortable, spacious, clean! Coffee machine, hairdryer, bathrobes etc! Added bonus parking available! Stayed Saturday night!

Second stay at this pub with rooms, excellent both times. Rooms are quirky in a good way and pub is comfortable, decent food and live music. Free secure parking is a bonus, although both times the access code we had was incorrect. Perfect central location to go exploring, lively high street with good shopping, a Saturday market, and plenty of other good places to eat and drink too if desired. Lovely area, will be back.

Nice breakfast, Irish server very good. Good range of coffee and tea with kettle in room. Three floors of stairs to climb. As they wound round and had a striped carpet I found this very difficult as I suffer from vertigo. Hard to carry a suitcase such a long way up and down. Shower was of hand held variety, difficult to get hot water and flow poor. Soap holder over bath very dirty. Parking good.

No biscuits for deluxe room. Coffee maker wasn’t clean and only pods so no coffee. Room was tired and worn and a lot of chipped paintwork which gave it a shabby appearance. This didn’t match up to the photos on the website. Bed was good Thankyou. Breakfast was very good - waitress was very polite and professional. On the positive side we were allowed to do a late check out which was much appreciated.

A warm welcome and delightful staff but, unfortunately that's where good bit ends. The hotel is extremely run down and in desperate need of a full renovation. My room was tired and extremely basic. The standard of housekeeping was poor with thick dust in the bathroom, mildew in the shower, a cracked basin and the bedroom wasn't much better with strange oddments of furniture. The room was very noisy from what I would guess is the main boiler which fired at regular intervals throughout the night. Dinner was not good enough. Great location but I won't be returning.

Great staff! Clean hotel! Lovely big rooms. Just a bit cold! The heaters not as warm in the bedroom compared to the bathroom. Otherwise wonderful place. Maybe needs some painting and new carpets in the bedroom! But overall was great and would stay there again! Perfect location! Shops all near by!

Looks lovely in the photos but is in poor condition and dirty in reality. I got one of the rooms in the photos. Paint peeling, damp, mold, cobwebs, dirty table, dirty carpets with evidence of the last guest left behind. Bathroom was dirty and shower had so little water flow it was difficult to wash properly. Fortunately was only staying one night and the bedsheets were acceptable in terms of cleanliness.

I stayed there for one night, and unfortunately, it was a very windy night. We were woken up multiple times—about 4 or 5—because the building made loud creaking and banging noises throughout the night. Even walking on the wooden floor produced loud, unsettling sounds. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we didn’t really enjoy our stay. The hotel seems to be in need of renovation. I didn't find it a 4 star hotel and didn't really like the cleanness.

Lovely spacious, clean room with all facilities you’d expect. Super comfy bed. Cosy lighting for atmosphere, but would benefit with additional brighter light source for working or make up. My room was on 3rd floor, up steep stairs - so check you have a lower floor if stairs are a problem for you.

The staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately our window didn’t shut property and it was a very noisy room as it was on the road and we had loud noises which started at 6am. So wasn’t a restful stay. The room did look tired and needs a lick of paint. We wouldn’t stay again

Old hotel/pub so limited with what facilities are available. Small room in the attic, so the eaves limit where beds, wardrobes, bath, basin, toilet etc goes. Window didn't close fully, noisy from room next door and corridor outside. Only a handheld shower attachment. Expected better for the price paid. Thankful we were only stopping one night!

Interesting old building, conveniently situated half way up the High Street, very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately my single room was badly organised, with no bedside table on which to put a lamp and other things easily reached from the bed (even though there was space for one). There were gaps in the window frames and cracked glass that let the cold air through (fortunately the heater was very effective at wsrming the room). The temperature of the shower was very hot, almost scalding, with no way to lower the temperature as far as I could tell. I could have asked the very nice and helpful staff, but was leaving that morning so didn't have the opportunity

All in all great stay at the Angel & Blue Pig. The hotel is on the high street and within easy reach of the seaside and has lots of local restaurants and bars to choose from. They have a car park towards the rear of the hotel. The room was spotless and clean, however the shower was poor as water trickled out slowly. The reception staff was very blunt on arrival. I approached the desk to ask what the code was so my partner who was waiting outside at the car park barrier could park, however she was more interested in making me pay there and then rather than letting us into the hotel first. The pub has a friendly and homely feel downstairs which charming character.

We landed from a long flight at Bournemouth, I phoned and asked if it was possible to have a sandwich as I knew the kitchen would be closing soon . I was told ring back in 20 mins there was no answer. When we arrived we got a very rude refusal to our request. On the back of this poor customer service we refused to have breakfast if they didn’t wasn’t my money the night before they wouldn’t get it in the morning. I won’t be going back . We are both in our late 60 ies .

Too many issues to note here, poor quality rooms, terrible service in the bar and restaurant, unhelpful staff and very noisy location. Overpriced and not worth the money. Would not stay here again.

A warm welcome and delightful staff but, unfortunately that's where good bit ends. The hotel is extremely run down and in desperate need of a full renovation. My room was tired and extremely basic. The standard of housekeeping was poor with thick dust in the bathroom, mildew in the shower, a cracked basin and the bedroom wasn't much better with strange oddments of furniture. The room was very noisy from what I would guess is the main boiler which fired at regular intervals throughout the night. Dinner was not good enough. Great location but I won't be returning.

Great staff! Clean hotel! Lovely big rooms. Just a bit cold! The heaters not as warm in the bedroom compared to the bathroom. Otherwise wonderful place. Maybe needs some painting and new carpets in the bedroom! But overall was great and would stay there again! Perfect location! Shops all near by!

Had a great stay at the Angel and Blue Pig! The room was spotlessly clean and right by the street, which worked well for me. The staff were genuinely welcoming, really friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast was excellent. What I loved most was the cozy communal area with a beautiful fireplace. And if you're driving, they've got proper parking on-site, which is always a bonus in these historic towns. This is a pub hotel on the high street so it was very noisy during the night. There was repair work going on during the night across the road which was quite disturbing. Location is very convenient for the ferry terminal.

Great location in the centre of Lymington with secure car parking included. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub has a good selection of quality food and drinks and a beer garden. We stay regularly in Lymington on the way to the Isle of Wight as ferry is 5 minutes drive from the centre.
