I booked this room for the closeness to the Gunnison prison is a friend. Cost the least amount of money. Check-in was easy. The room was very clean. I saw other reviews said there were bugs, but 100% there were no bugs I checked every single crack. 100% no sign of bedbugs either. I think the only thing I’ll say is the bathroom is kind of cold because there’s no way to heat it in there. And the phone did not work, but everybody has cell phones now. And there’s nothing in the vending machine. The person at the desk said it was his first shift/night there and I wouldn’t have guessed that he was very professional, and he was very on top of everything. It doesn’t seem like the best area, but for the price I would come here again

It was conveniently located and had a pool which was a nice feature after driving for 8 hours across the Nevada desert in July. Clean room, large comfy king bed and clean bathroom. Hot water took some time to heat up but that was it. Off a busy highway and strangely quiet around back.

If you have a swimming pool, then motel should provide extra towels for guests. The manager of econolodge told me NO! To getting extra towels for the pool. So i had to use the only 2 towels from my bathroom. Terrible cheapness

We travel with kids, they looked forward to swimming the pool but goodness Christ! The pool was terribly dirty! Totally not safe to swim in! We checked in and was questioned how old all the kids were, which was unnecessary. It was noisy with cars passing by, hard to sleep.

Horrible experience! We found hair all over bed, a highlighter and.a key. Staff did not want to assist us. We booked rooms for two nights but we could not stay the following night. My family member decided to sleep in the car because room was smelly and bed filthy… not clean. We asked to speak to someone but were denied services. We want at least a reimbursement for one of the nights we did not stay in.

The room and bedding had a stinky odor. Our clothes picked up that odor so we smelled it all of the way home. I couldn't wait to get home to shower again and wash our belongings and finally get some sleep. I couldn't sleep because something in the bed was making my skin itch. The water in the shower took at least 5 minutes to get warm and shower handle was hard to turn on. The handle to turn on the shower is worn out. The shower curtain rod was not installed correctly so it was hard to keep the curtain closed. I normally don't give bad reviews, but there is no way that I would stay here again.

Great complementary breakfast (loved the waffles). But the best part of the stay was the staff!!! During both our stays we've interacted with 4 different staff members and every single one of them was incredibly kind, happy and super friendly! What an amazing experience! Next time we are in Salina we are definitely staying here again.

Filthy…linen looks really old (dirty white in color) there’s a leftover ice cream in the fridge from the previous occupant. Carpet is dirty and outdated (don’t want to even step on it with my bare feet. Breakfast was horrendous (worst of all the budget hotel that offers free breakfast) I included a picture I took at the bottom of the bed for proof.

Salina is a small town. Local eateries are all closed on Sundays. The hotel is just okay. The TV gets one channel, the internet is down, the steps are disgusting dirty.

Excellent for the price. Dark room and quiet. Heater was quiet. It’s old and a little worn but perfect if your goal is to sleep and roll out back onto the highway the next morning.

The place was very clean but the walls paper thin and could hear next door people waking up at 4 am and slamming doors beds room and bathroom very clean. Front desk was ok and breakfast was hidden had to drag the information from the front desk people. Would come back wearing earplugs

First we have to say the price was good and they were supposed to be dog friendly. Upon arrival and entering the lobby to check in the person at the desk sad no dog allowed. Then he corrected himself and said ok in the room but not in lobby. Not a great greeting. The room was VERY WORN around the edges but clean and provided everything we needed. They had a nice continental breakfast.

The property was not good at all. Firstly, our keys wouldn’t open the door locks. We had to go back twice to get them reprogrammed. There was no maid service. We were there for two nights and nobody came at the end of the first day to clean the room or to ask if we need new towels. One of the lights in the bathroom fixture was out and there was no cover on the fixture. The curtains in the room did not close well enough, so we saw the reflection of the light on the mirror all night. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Salina is a convienient location when traveling through on I-70.It is a quiet little town. This is an older motel but everything was clean and functional. A good place to spend the night on the cheap.

If you just want a bed this place is great. Rooms need attention from floor to ceiling. Breakfast area was unclean, and food looked like it was very old. The owners/staff were vey friendly, but the smell of curry in the lobby was off putting. By the way I love curry.

Check in was super fast and excellent. Bed was VERY comfortable which was badly needed after a full day of driving. Don't stay here for the breakfast unless you simply love Great Value bagels, bread, & creamcheese. And they covet it too as there's a sign that says "Breakfast is not allowed outside this room". Lol. I didn't stay here for the breakfast though. It's an Econolodge, and it more than served it's purpose. Would stay again.

Check-in was easy, room was clean, shower had good pressure. Breakfast was virtually non-existent. Only hot food was the flip waffle maker, the coffee/OJ was just colored water, the bagels were stale and hard. Otherwise, fine experience for a layover during a long drive.
