Staff was outstanding. The rooms were out of this world. Great location and the views were great. Traveled from the USA and our hotels could really learn from you guys. Also Rona webt above and beyond, she deserves a real pat on the back. The male manager was awesome as well always checking to make sure everything was ok.

The great thing about this hotel was the location. It’s a lovely quiet location a short walk from the town. The room was ok. Clean. Bathroom door stuck every time and the bottom sheet was not big enough for the twin beds that had been pushed together. The downside was that there was a comment that we had booked through Expedia when we arrived. We know that booking through third party companies rather than directly can lead to guests being given the less favourable rooms which can be disappointing. On this occasion, we were given room 42 on the fourth floor. We were told that the lift was out of order but ‘it would be good for the extra cardio’. We weren’t bothered about the lift but it may have been difficult for older and less abled people, especially as most of the steps were steep. The major problem was that room 42 is directly beneath some kind of metal structure on the roof (which would likely be an issue for anyone on the fourth floor) and we were kept awake both nights by horrendous clanging due to the wind disturbing whatever it is. We both had terrible headaches and feel that this issue must be known to hotel staff- were we put here because of our booking through Expedia? The hotel wasn’t overly busy so I’m sure there must have been other rooms. Also, be aware that the hot water is SCALDING HOT. Parking was handy but very tight. You can park on the road do a fee though.

We could see the sea but also the bin store. We liked the spa bath, but the rooms are in need of some TLC.

Limited view of the sea from the room. Only informed on arrival that due to refurbishment works there would be no restaurant or bar facilities. This would mean visiting another property for food and drink, may have been easier to relocate booking to that venue. Staff helpful, room clean but issues with the odd location of sockets and lights switches on headboard.

Room clean and spacious. Adeed bonus of nice jacuzzi bath. Little in way of facilities, no food or drink due to refurbishment, however, they were available at a sister hotel not too far away. As stated previously, the hotel is being refurbished. That is necessary as it looks tired in areas.
