They could not find my prepaid reservation when I arrived but quickly did so. The bed was comfortable. AC worked great. Only warm water in bathroom sink. Green algae growing in pool so I stayed out.

The staff was great. Enjoyed time at the pool. The hotel was an older hotel in need of some renovations. There were cracked tiles in the elevator floor. Cracked tiles in the bathroom floor. The bathroom door kept on closing on its own. Beds were comfortable. Walls in hotel room had been patched up and painted over. You could tell where the walls had been patched by different paint colors. It was located in a quiet area.

The hotel was not clean at all. There is some type of bug infestation around the pool area. The pool was full of bugs that looked like cockroaches the first day we stayed (they were floating and swimming in the water). The second day they had cleaned them out of the pool water, but left dead ones all over the pool area, to the point that we couldn't walk to the hot tub without stepping on them. We didn't see the area swept or cleaned up at all throughout our 3 night stay. The pool area was the worst, but the room was not good either. There was mildew growing in the window, the floor has broken tiles and areas under the carpet where you could feel the sub-floor had broken down. All around this property is in dis-repair and needs to be cleaned. The staff and breakfast were the only positives, staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty good.

Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable, pillows were amazing, room was clean, breakfast was good (my favorite was the biscuit and sausage gravy), and parking was easy. In a good area, Walmart is across the street, Valero is down the road, lots of food options, and everything you need is literally within 3-5 minutes away. The down side was the lady in the room next to us, she was so loud talking until 3 AM complaining to someone about politics and her tax dollars paying for unwanted bike lanes. Her privilege was very obnoxious to hear about all night. The store they have there to sell snacks and drinks could use more options and maybe more medicines like TUMS. That was the only issue which one wasn’t their fault and the other is just a suggestion to make something a little better.

The place looked ok from the outside but had to immediately get a refund because the pool and hot tub was not working. They were the reason I chose this place to begin with so I had to find somewhere else..

The hotel was clean and comfortable. In a good, central location with plenty of parking available. The pool was decent too. My only complaint was that when we went to the pool area with the kids, there was a woman that came out to smoke right by the pool even though there are no smoking signs all over the property. We asked the receptionist for assistance and she said that she would ask the manager but she never did and nothing was done about it. Other than that, it was good overall and I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a decently priced conveniently located hotel in Pearland.

The room I rented had mold in the bathroom ceiling, floor molding was dirty and it smelled damp which is what prompted me to look at the ceiling in the bathroom where the mold was visible and the water when showering took 15 minutes to get hot, it was terrible. After the A/C was on a bit the smell dissipated. Only there for 2 days, but will not visit this property again.

I had higher hopes for Holiday Inn Express. It was located in a "nicer" part of the area so I initially felt safe staying there alone with my daughter while in town to see family for Christmas. After we got to the room and it had a mildew smell, it did have a very old style floor standing heating/air unit, so that was disappointing because they are loud & in efficient at controlling the temp. In the restroom it appeared clean on the surface but there were dirty used towels shoved behind the clean ones. I questioned the cleaniness of the bedsheets as there was some staining so we slept on top of the comforter. It was so late at night that when my daughter & I decided to leave & check right back out their was no staff at all at the front desk & honestly we didn\'t feel safe walking across the lot to our car. The hotel is next to some industrial looking building and all night we heard a lot of commotion coming from there even though the building seemed closed with no lights on. The whole vibe was just off. It is rated 2.5 stars, but I would say 1 star is more fair. The young gentleman that checked us in was very friendly though. We left as soon as the sun broke & checked out a day early.

The property was clean, but there appeared to have mold on the floor near the bathtub. And the air conditioner did not work, but I was told I would not be charged for the night's stay. So the service/staff were very attentive to my needs. The hotel just needs some serious updating.

We did not have any hot water for a shower on Sunday morning. Also, we were put in a room that connected to another. The door was unlocked when we arrived. And we could hear everything that was being said in the next room. We thought someone was in our room. And we heard their TV on all night. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean but our mattress made loud creaking noises when you roll over.

Very nice for the price. A little out of the way, depending where you’re going. The breakfast is standard HIE, with good hours. The room is small with only one chair. A little dated but very quiet.

Although the room was very basic, it appeared clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was not very hot and only provided a very weak flow of water. I don't think that was eco-friendly because it took me 3x longer to rinse my hair than normal. Probably minimal, if any, water saved and wasted my time. No bath mat and no lid on the toilet- gross! Not enough lighting in the room. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom for makeup application.

Stayed in 3rd floor room - there are some obvious issues with the floors - they are so uneven, the tile in the bathroom were popping up and I stubbed my toe on one of them. My business associate who was put on first floor had a decent room. Staff checking in was rude. Will not return.

There were definitely a few areas that needed to be touched up, chipped corners, a dirty shower curtain and a rusty spot on the bottom of the tub. The remote for the tv didn't work right. The volume up botton didn't work, the channel up/down button hardley workedand the battery cover was missing. We were disappointed that there were no cable or premium channels availabile...only local antennea channels and then, a lot of those had a weak signal message pop up and we couldn't watch those channels. Definitely not what we are used to when staying at a Holiday Inn Express.

The AC had me stumped. Like the heater would turn on and trying to hit the temp requested on auto was not always a success. Seemed like we went from freezing to hot and was a trick to get the temp we requested. Room was nice, mostly quiet. Good breakfast, tasty and well prepared.

The overall stay, cleanliness, breakfast items and staff was great!! The only minor issue was when the fire alarm went off at 4:30sh am , the front desk wouldn’t answer the phone lol I went out to see what was goi g, didn’t see smoke so went back and try to go back to sleep.

We had a great stay at this property, after our flight got delayed and then canceled they were so helpful in reassuring us that our room would be waiting for us and made a stressful situation a little less stressful. The front desk staff and the manager were all phenomenal! They were quick to assist with any need that came up during our short stay and helped us to book an additional room at the very last moment! Thank y’all so so much for everything!

Staff support front desk person M acted in an unrefined manner after confronting us in the room . Mrs Michelle brought up her segregated manners to the hotel where behavior in such way is unacceptable! I felt humiliated and attacked after pounding at our door to corral my kids or leave comment . My child was crying he was sick felt horrible for a person . To come attack us after a couple of seconds that we had just got back I believe someone else kids maybe behaving how she thought my kid did but her unprofessional behavior again is unacceptable I don’t understand how such an iconic hotel has a rude , ignorant personal never had I ever encountered In my life time of hotel stays .
