At the end of the day, it is a fine hotel for a quick overnight. Our problem was that when we checked in, the TV in our room didn’t work and we were moved to another room after a bit of a wait. The room we were moved into was a first floor room, and I was surprised to find that the windows to the room which were ground level at the parking lot of the hotel and an apartment building next door were unlocked, and the safety mechanisms were not engaged. Anyone could have broken into that room without any problem whatsoever. I let management know and they were very apologetic, but my expectation is that a hotel has proper safety measures in place for guests and that includes windows and safety locks on first floor rooms being locked and/or engaged. Breakfast was good and the accommodations comfortable so overall we would stay again, but would request a room on the second floor.
