The pool isnt heated. The handicapped chair lift for the pool had no remote. When asked about the remote we were told 'it might be at one of the sister properties' and the gym is under construction so its just 2 treadmills and an elliptical in a small room. I picked this place for accessibility for my husband and it had a gym so i could workout in the mornings...had they made it known these things werent available I would have booked elsewhere.

It was very hot upon arrival to our room. It took awhile for the temp to lower once we adjusted it. The lobby/breakfast area was extremely warm. Made it uncomfortable during breakfast. None of the ice machines worked. Had to go buy our own ice. Would’ve like to see the pool area a little cleaner and the gym had a broken window. Was only given one key upon arrival which was weird.

The staff tried to maintain friendliness the weekend in spite of being very busy booked and people being upset that the pool was down the first few days we were there. I always try and be very nice to the staff because they have to work whether we're nice or not. That being said the first two days we were there at the pool was down which put a damper on my daughter's vacation. The hotel itself was sort of run down with broken ice machine on the first floor and the elevator was broken when you walked in. Our room was not as dirty as you might read on the reviews. It wasn't super fancy but it was doable for the cost. The beds were fairly comfortable and the TV worked fine as well as the ac. The breakfast was fine. That being said

This hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay here. We only had 2 minor problems: the wall by the bed was messed up and the window was stuck open but maintenance fixed it right away for us. The pool was great, the jacuzzi tub was awesome, the staff was great and even the breakfast was good. I would recommend this place to any family or friends who needed somewhere in erie to stay and id stay here again.

Great location, close to lots of restaurants. Didn't like that my room was near the ice machine, it was very noisy. Animals are allowed, so many barking dogs. Elevator was not working well.

Asked for extra pillows and was given one at check-in rather than left in room. Room barely clean upon arrival. Felt dirt in carpet. Filthy, clouded windows. Mold in shower and under sink. Furniture askew. (where is guide for TV?) Noisy and inconsistent A/C. Had to ask for more shampoo due to one small tuber for 2 people. Not cleaned or replenished first full day there while we were at pool. Request made 2nd day for room to be cleaned while we were out. Needed clean towels, toilet paper and soap. Gone 5+ hours. Key cards deleted requiring visit to front desk. Room untouched. Another trip to front desk. Had to leave while taken care of. Elevator floor dirty most of day. POOL: filters not running. Couldn't even see feet in 3 feet of water. No restroom in pool area. BREAKFAST: Powdered eggs, overcooked rubber sausage, sour waffle mix. Staff was nice but not knowledgeable. Nearly every question about area involved them doing a computer search. No flyers for activities in lobby.

This facility is filthy. The first room they gave us was dirty and the bed still had prior guests head impression on the pillow. The spread had simply been pulled up with the used sheets scrunched beneath. The next room beds were ok but it needed to be vacuumed. The lobby floor was covered in coffee and who knows what else stains. The window in our room was so filthy we could barely see out of it. The young man at checking could not have cared less about his job. Fortunately when we went back to the front desk there was a woman who actually cared and apologized. This facility is a disgrace.

The rooms are very noisy and the mattress under the bed sheets was extremely stained. The mattess was also uncomfortable and the room wasn't the cleanest. I guess is was ok for the one night but will not stay there again.

the room was very dirty.. paint chips on walls and front door. front door not locked when we arrived at the room. 3 tries to get keys to work. spigot in bathroom sink wobbled. painting was terrible in bathroom. we could not even look out of our windows they were so dirty. no coffee for coffee maker in room. caulking in shower was pulling back and dirty and corners of room was dirty. no place to put the shampoo or conditioner in shower. no grab bars in shower. breakfast was bad. the only good thing about our stay was the front desk people were awesome and very friendly. it was not worth 179.00 and 161.00 for those nights it to me was not worth 20.00 a stay. it was horrible. we will never stay in a La Quinta ever again. we are not happy about any of this. i will be letting my friends and family know not to book there either. we come to erie pa all the time but we will never stay there ever again. I thought Wyndham was a better hotel chain than this place..

This was the dirtiest hotel ive ever stayed in. There was half eaten food behind tv, cigarette butts on window ledge inside of room and stains on the bedding. The room had a horrible odor, smelled like something died. We stayed for 3 nights and were never offered clean towels even though we booked for 4 people and only had 3 towels. I asked on 2nd day for clean towels and was handed 2 hand towels. Not sure what those would dry. The pool was so murky you couldnt see 5 inches below surface and the breakfast area was disgusting. Each day we had to take the key cards back downstairs to have them reprogrammed for our room. At one point the maid opened our door for us without verifying it was our room, could have let anyone in without proper id etc. Very disappointed in the property. Had no other choice as was only hotel in vicinity with availability or we would have checked out. But hey after all the lysol i bought and used they can advertise one semi decent room now. For almost 500 for 3 nights id rather sleep in a tent next time!

Elevator sounded like it was going to break, our bathroom had hair still in the tub and floor, bathroom vent didn’t work. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were in the tiniest bottles that they were a one time use type of bottle(sample bottle). Last night that we were there, the people next to us had there kids running and jumping up and down the hall and in their room until 1am.

My family and I go to this property usually at least once a year. When I wipe down the room the wipes are always still white and clean the property is always very very clean. The staff is nice. I never have any problems when I go here the cleanliness will always make me return. We are also a fan of the breakfast. My daughter loves the waffles.❤️

For the price, I would definitely stay again. The room was a little dated, but clean (minor imperfections in bathroom/bedroom but nothing terrible). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was extremely friendly. The room looked to be newly renovated. Same with the Lobby and where you get breakfast. Breakfast was just ok. There were eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, cereal, breads, waffles, and juice. The room was better then expected in comparison to the outside. The bed was comfortable! However, you did hear all the traffic outside. The walls are very thin. We could hear a dog barking at 2am and people walking or running on the floor above. You dont get a good nights sleep with that. We only stayed a night there so for the price it was good.

This was a one night stay. This room was terrible. The room smelled really musty, moldy, mildewy. The refrigerator was completely jacked inside. The TV remote didn’t work properly. The thermostat to the room didn’t function properly. There were several partially removed stickers that were never cleaned properly. The drywall in the bedroom was cracked and looked water stained as if there was a water leak (the room is on the top floor). The ceiling plaster was coming apart from water damage and not repaired. The door jamb to the bathroom was sticky and paint chipped, and the security bolt on the room door was completely broken and never replaced. The wifi was intermittent and slow, and part of the railing in the elevator was broken and never replaced. When I complained, the receptionist said, “yeah, we’ve had a lot of similar complaints lately.” Needless to say, I had zero confidence in eating the free breakfast. For over $200 per night, what a rip off. This was a disaster.

The front desk clerk was quite rude. When we were checking in, I saw that LaQuinta was part of the Wyndham group. I said that I thought I was a member and asked how can I tell. His exact response was “Um, I don’t know. Look it up.” There was no offer to looo it up or to add my stay to my reward profile. Very disappointed in the service we received. We were on a 9 day trip that was completely unplanned and I refused to book at another La Quinta or Wyndham property. We chose Hilton for three of the nights, and a Best Western where we received excellent service and were greeted with friendly service. Our other days were booked through air bnb… had our first night of the trip gone any better, LaQuinta and Wyndham would have been our choice.

I booked through Expedia and got a specific rate as well as a receipt. Upon arrival, I gave my card for incidentals but had none during my stay. The morning I checked out, I got a notification from my credit card company of a charge from the hotel, so I checked my CC app to see that the hotel charged me three times, once every day, for a different amount each time. When I inquired at checkout, I was told that the charges would get cleared but they have not.

The first room we were given had not been cleaned or the beds made. The front desk clerk found us another room. He went up and checked out the room to make sure it was okay. He then helped us get the luggage cart up to our room. Very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.

The staff literally told us the room number and nothing more. We called down and said there was no soap in the room for washing hands or for the shower, and they brought up shampoo and conditioner. No soap. The staff in the evening at the front desk was more friendly. The gentlemen that checked us in could use some more customer service training. A hello would have been nice.

The staff at check in was great, the fact that they saved my credit card from my visit days before the card was charged that night. Checking out was crazy, a different name was on the room I had to show my reservation but I ended up with a second charge on my card, I called and they were able to credit the charge and the deposit, it took a few days . I still have a third payment waiting to be canceled out. But I will stay there again 😀 just don’t want my card saved on file.

We over all had a terrible stay. First we got charged 3 times for our room. We stayed 4 nights and had to go back and keep telling them to take charges off our card. Then the door handle on the bathroom door fell off which they never fixed. The main door had trouble shutting you had to lift it up to shut and kick the bottom in to open. There were Pringle chips at the head of our bed between the mattress. How do you miss that making a bed? The staff was nice but overall the stay was awful.

Where do I start? Room was already paid for but when checking in the young boy they had working decided to go ahead and change my card a second time! There goes some of my spending money for my family vacation! Because of course it takes 3-5 business days for my money to be put back on my debit card! Kids were excited to go swimming in the pool! Unfortunately I was unsure of what diseases they would contract if we let them swim in the cloudy filthy water. You couldn't even see the second stair the water was so murky! So there went that perk of the hotel. Other patrons walking around barefoot during the free breakfast! I will say the frozen biscuits they had were probably the best part of our stay! Those and the packets of Nutella and hot sauce! You get what ya pay for I suppose!

Our experience was SPECTACULAR!! Traveling with our fur babies back to our old "stomping grounds" to visit family for this trip- we chose Laquinta..easily accessible to interstate 90, plenty of convenience stores in the area..and if thats not enough-the infamous Peach street offers everything you could want. Staff- extremely positive AND soooo friendly to our fur babies- as they are trained to open doors- (service animals) and gallivanted throughout the halls, as we grabbed breakfast one morning. Staff immediately coaxed them into a room as we returned-even though people may perceive these as vicious man eaters- our fur babies simply adored the opportunity to be around others...giving huge licks!! We enjoyed the pool- even though not heated; STILL refreshing. Free breakfast was an added bonus. We will certainly return. Thanks for the hospitality to not only US... but our fur babies as well.

The property is in dire need of work. The sliding front entry doors were broken, the elevator didn't work, there were missing ceiling tiles, and flaking paint. With taxes, the cost for one night was $200 for this run down property next to the interstate. I booked La Quinta because I find them to be a step above Super 8 and Motel 6. This was a not the case.

Close to peach street exit so it’s near restaurants gas stations and shopping. Phone in room did not work. Pool was small and crowded but it was functioning and opened. Room had a faint smell. You can tell it’s not a newer hotel. For the price it isn’t horrible.

The maintenance man was so friendly and helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of..went to have breakfast Saturday morning and there was no food and was told they wouldn’t be making any more..person called off..the maintenance man cooked eggs and bacon and biscuits and made sure we were fed .. new management needs to find more workers like him

Hotel was clean, room was clean enough. We had 2 small children in the room and our window was broken (shattered with glass out of the 1st layer) we told the front desk and she said ok she would mark it down that it was broken prior. The whole trip we had to keep the littles away from the window. The pool was very cloudy and cold. Breakfast was minimal. Eggs, cereal. Biscuits, sausage gravy, waffles.

The hotel was nice. We had problems with the keys not opening the doors. The coffee in the hallway was not very hot. There was not access to ice in the breakfast area in the morning. The juice was either too strong or too weak, no in between. Breakfast on the first day, Friday - was wonderful. Then the Saturday and Sunday were exactly the same, and extremely heavy Sausage and Biscuits. Would have liked to repeat the breakfast from Friday, on Sunday. Instead of having the same breakfast twice in a row. The bathrooms need some updating. Exposed caulking and messy patch work in the shower. No where to place soap or shampoo, but one tiny little shelf. When I checked in the window was open. Which was scary considering I was on the ground floor. One of our towels was dirty when we checked in. The second bed was also halfway off the frame and we had to have the front desk come fix it. The final issue we had was with the turn off to the hotel. Consider a new entrance.

The property was clean and quiet, convenient location to my work site. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6-9am, I made it the lobby around 6:15am and the breakfast area was dark and no food available, I sat for about 15 minutes and could wait any longer, so I checked and departed in order to be on time to start my workday.

The hotel was nice but definitely needs the windows through out the entire building needs washed. But the breakfast was horrible!!! Everything we had was cold and not hot at all!!! Also not much of a selection of food!! My wife and I went to Craker berrlel for a very hot tasty breakfast!! Other than that I give this hotel an 85%
