Breakfast menu had a very good choice with lots of croissants and pain au chocolate available in addition to hot food order. Pity evening menu not changed on a daily basis as if staying for more than 3 nights would be a bit restricted in choice. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Our room was clean but the patio area wasn’t. The staff were lovely while we were there but my husband left his phone charger behind and although we telephoned soon after leaving and before the check in time for new guests, it was not found and nobody phoned him back as promised. The spa was clean, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was very nice with a lovely view from the dining area windows.

Expensive room as we wanted a sun balcony - the sun area was in poor condition with weeds around the area and old seagull poo across the furniture. There is obviously plant machinery under the room for the spa so we were sat with that droaning and vibrating which isn’t exactly relaxing Staff in the bar and general food was excellent and enjoyed our evening in the main hotel. Next morning we wanted to have breakfast, check out early to give the room back and then spend some time in the Spa but the pool was full and we were left with a choice of waiting in the car until potentially some became available (already a queue of 3 groups waiting) or just leave and find something else to do. Sadly we chose the latter so our hotel/spa stay left us with no access to the spa facilities. Really poor and much better choice at other hotels in the SW which is a shame as we had been looking forward to visiting here
