Outside is not much to look at but the interior is quite modern with a "boat house" feel to the restaurant. Room not the most spacious but adequate. Breakfast was excellent with wide buffet choice and good quality. Spa/ swimming pool is very good. Over priced for the level of accommodation but the Lakes location contributes to the pricing.

I had the superior family room, which is fantastic. It is spacious, clean and includes a ‘living space’ with dresser, shelving, fridge, coffee facilities, table and sofa. I always feel so comfortable and at home here. Management team are friendly and always have time to say hello and make me feel welcome. Staff go out their way to make sure my stay meets my expectations, plus more. I sometimes need to stay longer than expected, and they are very accommodating to do their best to keep me in the same room, minimising any troubles to myself, even if at last minute. If it is possible, they always try their best. Even when busy. I appreciate this effort so much as it ensures my holiday is as relaxing as possible. Housekeeping are more than happy to provide whatever you may need, and offer to service the room, however, there is very little needed as the room is always equipped with plenty towels, coffee facilities etc. I am happy to maintain room myself, asking for any extras if ever required. They couldn’t be more helpful. Spa and gym are exactly whats required. Spacious, clean, towels and robes are provided. Treatments are available on request at extra cost. Definitely worth a try. Although these can be booked up pretty quickly. I’d advise booking a day in advance for treatments. I tend not to take breakfast, I don’t personally like the set up nor find it good value for money. This will depend on individual preference, ofcourse.

Hotel and room were extremely clean and tidy but unfortunately there was a terrible odour in the entrance of drains. And the corridors and our room smelt of damp/animals. Our room was very small, but good condition. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time and the restaurant and reception staff were all excellent. Overall would stay again but I thought the hotel was very expensive for what it was.
