Old and tired. Parking expensive. Room Large but door didn’t lock so had to put furniture against door. Pillows very lumpy. Bathroom nice, room extremely warm. Windows rotten.

The staff are very attentive, room was very clean and tidy. The TV in our room was very small but I wasn't there to watch the telly. It looks like the hotel is undergoing a bit of a facelift with the new owner and certain areas look a bit tired but Rome wasn't built in a day and I wish them the very best. Well situated location within a brisk 15 minute walk of the harbour in Torquay and close to bus stops taking you to Paignton and Brixham. All in all a nice hotel.

Great location for main beach in Torquay and Tor Abbey which are within walking distance. Clean hotel with very welcoming staff. Breakfast choices were limited but there was plenty of food available. There is a bar but you may need to ask front desk staff to open it for you depending on the time. Similarly there is a big TV in the lounge but you may need help finding the remote. Plenty of parking although it is spread around the property and spaces are tight. I didn't use the L shaped pool but it looked clean. If you're looking for value for money near the main beach this is a good choice.
