Room was okay until you actually looked at it. There was a hole in one of the doors, the bathroom door didn’t even close properly, cracks in bathroom flooring, the toilet also had trouble flushing. In the cabinets, one dirty plate, no dish soap, one butter knife, one steak knife and one butcher knife but no other utensils. The bed was hypothetically clean. The halls smell like weed and food, trash in the parking lot. I tried to cancel my reservation before I even checked in and paid but because it was after 4, it wasn’t possible. $190 has gotten me better rooms and an additional $100 deposit? There’s nothing more to be ruined, everything was busted before I got there. But you get what you pay for I guess

(General) You get what you pay for. I should have done a little more research on where I was staying first. While my stay was fine and the patrons and staff were friendly to me, there were a couple issues that other travelers should be aware of. (1) Strong odor of cigarettes: While the room was designated as non-smoking, the entire property reminded me of a Vegas casino due to the smell. If you have aversions I would not stay here. (2) Overheard dangerous conversations: I was walking out of my room to the car and heard a man and woman yelling at one another in their room. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop, just walking by. I heard the woman pleading with the man to leave but he demanded $100 from her or wasn't going to leave. That is all I heard, but it definitely made me feel less safe. The walls are also thin. I was startled awake at 6am by two children yelling profanity at one another in the room next to mine. (3) Cleanliness: There were some trash items left in the room and some components of the room are dirty and worn (e.g. carpet, walls). Many residents leave trash in the halls and I am not sure the frequency which is it collected. (4) Elevator operation: This did not affect my stay as I was on the first floor, but the elevator was marked as "out of order." I am not sure if the upper floors are in use?

Room was reasonably clean and quiet. I would have appreciated the possibility of a late checkout however.
