Pool was broken, hot tub wasn’t very warm, breakfast was awful and not a good selection. Screen on bedroom window was all tore up. Employees were rude and disrespectful. Room was dirty, floor hadn’t been vacuumed bed skirt had boogers from people picking their nose and wiping it on the skirt. Just an absolute terrible experience..

The hotel is easy to find. Great Mexican restaurant bext door, El Azteca. The pool and hot tub are clean. The room is decent. The AC blew the air from 1 side and it was on high and the room was still hot. Luckily, I had a fan in my car to help circulate air. Luckily, this was a day before the heatwave hit. That is my only complaint.

Possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms ac unit turned off because it had a master temp controller or was just so old that it was on its last leg. The room was 80°+ all day and night. No AC in common spaces and the places smelled like animal urine everywhere. The girl at the front counter for check in was rude and not helpful at all. She seemed bothered by anything and spent all her time speaking on her phone. Pool was freezing and hot tub was cold with no clean towels. This place should probably be condemned.

My room was filthy. The bathroom was gross and the carpet was dirty. The sheets were dirty. The towels were dirty. I’m not sure what happened but I thought I was on a reality. Show for a minute there. I no don’t knowhow this place is able to be labeled a quality inn or be under the Hotels.com roof. I travel for a living and I’m on the road 26 weeks a year. This was without question the grossest room I’ve ever seen. The front desk person was atrocious as well. Never, never, never again.

It’s very very dirty - our bedding literally had blood stains. There were cheerios and scraps of paper in the stairwell that went untouched the entire stay (3 days). I couldn’t make it through my paid for stay so left to check in somewhere else although partial refund was not an option.

When we checked in we had to wait 1hr for room to be cleaned. Then got surprised by big, blood, and brown streaks on sheets. Had to request bed completely changed and staff sad housekeeping not there and gave us bedding to change ourselves. Will never stay here again.

Checked out immediately after checking in. Filthy towels hanging by sink. Hairs in the bed. Final straw was finding urine on floor near toilet. Entire facility needs better upkeep. Paid $50 for our dog to stay with us at the time of check-in. When I asked for that to be refunded, desk clerk (who was very friendly and tried to help) said she couldn't do refunds and manager was out of town for a week. Unfortunately I paid for 2 nights on Expedia and neglected to get the insurance. Don't go here.

There was alcohol bottles all around every light post and all over the property. The lamp shade look like there was a murder that happened in blood splattered all over it. There was a tear in the bed skirt. The stain on the comforter no shampoo in the shower

The hotel is very dirty. Not well kept. The room i was given smelled like a dead body. A hit in the face when walking in. When i told staff they just nodded theyre heads and said they take care of it. I was not offerwd another room, compensated or anything. And of course had already paid. This was the most foul smell and we were nauseated the entire time. The pool has no towels and is not cleaned routinely. Just very disappointing and a waste of money.

Dirty towels in room, asked them to come and get them they never did, we were there 3 nights. Hair on pillows, mirror dirty, A/C unit very load, hot tub dirty, waffles were undercooked, sausage tasted bad, always ran out of food. I stay in Hotels and Air B&B alot, unfortunately we will not stay here again. Price not bad, pool was comfortable, thats about it.

First of all we had to wait while someone checked to make sure our room was cleaned before we could get our keys. When we walked into the room it had an odor but it definitely was not a clean smell. We left & returned to our room # 109 later & it still had an odor. We felt that the room was cold so my husband went to turn up the heat a little however he couldn't do it as there wasn't even a knob on the heat adjustment...it had a binder clip on it. We had been in our room about an hour and the heat only came on once and when it did it just blew all the heat up under the curtain. It was warmer in the hallway than in our room. My husband went to the front desk to let them know that we wanted another room that had heat. So they put us in a handicapped room which did have heat as they had installed a thermostat on the wall to control that heater (which had not been done in room # 109). This was a queen size bed while I had paid for a king size bed and the bed was very, very soft and you ended up rolling to the middle. There were NOT any kleenex in the bathroom the box was empty and had not been replaced. When we went to make coffee this morning the packets that held the sugar, sweetner, creamer and stir sticks was already opened. We only had 2 packs of sugar and 2 packs of sweetner between 2 packets and NO stir sticks. He got us some coffee from the lobby area and that was only lukewarm. Needless to say this was very disappointing. Will not be back again!!!!

In room 108, we had problems with things connected to the first switch into the room. The room was totally dark (in mid-afternoon, albeit with the drapes closed) because someone had turned off the far light (by the windows) at the lamp switch. We noted that the digital clock (plugged in by the TV) was flashing, having just reset. We corrected the time on the clock and set the alarm for a wake-up call. We also called the front desk for a wake-up call. Both of the latter efforts failed - we received no wake-up call and the digital clock shut off when we turned off the light by the door to retire. The digital clock should be plugged in at the lamp on the NEAR side of the bed (power there, 24/7, regardless of whether the room lights are on. These problems may be occurring in other rooms as well - it may be a housekeeping issue. SOME light should come on when you first enter the room and digital clocks should be connected to outlets that are always under power.

Mechanical noises started at 6 AM within the building, and continued for over an hour, couldn't sleep. Beyond that the property was fine, clean, quiet, warm, dry, comfortable.

You could hear every little sound at this hotel. The mini fridge didn’t work. It smelt like stale smoke. The employees just sit on their phones on the couch in the lobby. The bathroom sink is as terrible, the water pressure was almost non existent and it was poorly constructed. The hotel could use some major work. Not the worst place but I would definitely not stay there again.

The television reception was going in out to the point to where you could not watch it without the aggravation, noisy people running, and jumping up in the floor above me. No lock on the back main entrance to the building anybody could come in in or out. The place was not maintained. It was the worst place. I think I’ve ever stayed.

Hotel stunk extremely bad. Covers and room were filthy. Called manager, requested at least partial refund for the horrible quality of hotel and bad experience. Manager declined & stated she did not know when her general manager would be there and would not provide his name. Customer service was horrible and she clearly did not care. I would never recommend nor stay in this hotel ever again. Also, a bunch of toilets were just sitting near the hotel. That was a great view.

Had had a reservation for two nights only stayed one. Was charged for two. Called to address the issue. Revealed that hotel staff is very incompetent do not keep track of things and have to go through a lot of BS to get refunded. Recommendation find a better hotel that's up to date with today's time and technology. When you give a key card that should log when you actually checked out

We specifically booked a handicap-accessible room with a walk-in shower to ensure my husband could maintain his independence while bathing. Instead, we were given a room with a tub, which made it impossible for him to shower on his own. Although we had to specifically request it, the hotel eventually provided a tub chair. However, this did not resolve the core issue – his independence. I brought the issue to the front desk and asked to speak with a manager, but was told it was too late at night to contact them. The next morning, I followed up again and was told they had called the manager, reached voicemail, and would get back to us. We still have not heard back from the hotel. The hotel has shown no effort to correct their mistake or acknowledge the impact it had on us. Their lack of communication and accountability is deeply disappointing.

Breakfast wasnt fresh and the yogurt was expired. The room we stayed in had a hole in the wall of the shower, and holes on the chair in the room aswell. The reason we stayed is because the snow storm and when i went outside i slid and almost fell because not one employee Actually shoveled or laid salt down. This is the worst hotel ive ever stayed at. And when i spoke to the front desk about slipping and almost falling they dismissed me and my concerns saying someone was back there currently shoveling. After i checked out, i drove around the parking lot AGAIN, and low and behold no one was shoveling or salting.

We came to town for a graduation party and stayed for a couple nights. The desk staff were very friendly and the pool was very nice. The building does need some maintenance (a few little things were amiss) but didn't affect our stay. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was decent. Walkability to gas station/starbucks/Mcdonalds is always a plus. I would stay here again.

The beds made a lot of noise like someone was hitting the wall. The ice machine was broken and when it was fixed, there was mold looking stuff on the ice. The food was cold and processed. The eggs were fluffy but very watery not good! The potatoes were not crispy and the sausages looked grayish. Everything looked and tasted microwaved! I had to eat waffles for three days! They ran out of forks and you couldn't take food out of the area.

I've stayed here for the Michan Brewer's Guild Winter Beer Festival every year for the last 10 years. The rooms have always been clean and affordable. The free breakfast has always been decent, until this time. Lukewarm powdered eggs, not fully boiled/cooked potatoes and disgusting barely cooked finger sausages. Even the "hot" coffee was lukewarm at best. The only edible items in my opinion were the factory sealed yogurt and Spunkmeyer mini muffins. I like the motel's location close to the event, but next year I may have to consider another location.
