Tewkesbury Park

All perfect - easy check in. Beautiful room such comfy beds!! the food in restaurant was so good probably the best at a hotel i have ever had. Spa was lovely! could do with more places to sit chairs or sunbeds round the pool.

Had a lovely welcome from the reception staff and the staff in general were very friendly and accommodating. We had room 306 and the view of the golf course was gorgeous. The room was large and spaces and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, could tell it was all locally sourced. The pool facilities were a bit disappointing, not enough seating around the pool and only one pool to share with the public. Steam and sauna very small. But apart from that we had a lovely enjoyable short break and would definitely return.

Tewkesbury Hotel has a great location with beautiful views, and there are a few nice trails nearby that you can access from the golf course. Breakfast was fantastic, but the main menu was a bit hit or miss. The bar was okay — good wine selection, including some great British wines, but it was a shame there weren’t any premium spirits. The room we ended up with was really nice, though we had some issues with the first one. Thankfully, the staff sorted it quickly and we were happy with how it was handled. The team there is professional and the place seems well run overall. The spa was decent — nothing special. The showers could’ve been cleaner, but the rest was alright.

We love this hotel, it has great modern warm rooms, very comfy bed. The staff are fantastic, professional and friendly.The food ( we ate in the bar) is simple and lovley - breakfast amazing (dont like the new servers /counters tho so impractical) then the spa area - this is why we come back, jacuzzi and sauna brilliant as ever - pool a bit cold this week - please turn it up 😀

Very pleasant golf-based hotel with a nice restaurant. Everything was high standard, with good facilities and attention to detail. Staff all friendly and professional. Will be happy to return.

It was the perfect place to stay for our "exhausted mums" weekend. The only thing I would have liked was a mini fridge in the bedroom The staff were excellent, we made full use of the pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. Breakfast was very well catered for and delicious.

Nice hotel set in golf grounds overlooking countryside. Room was nice size, nice little touch of fresh milk( though had to ask every day for it) good size bathroom with walkin rainfall shower. Towels changed every day even if hung up, room seemed to be set up slightly different each day! House keeping did knock and check oneday if it was all ok. One thing though senior staff walk round with clip boards, how 60s and off putting to guests. Bed is huge and there a big but! These are singles joined with a topper and my god if your in the middle very painfull. Third night we just couldnt cuddly as it was uncomfortable. Oh and bed was very, very soft. There is no lift here and evey floor has multipal steps, several times we helped other guests with there bags. Breakfast was nice, seemed to change depending on the chef. Didnt eat in the returant in the evenings very expensive for the area. If your looking spa, this place is a little odd. Treatments rooms are in the hotel not in with the pool. Thats more like a golf club house. Have to sign in and collect towels. Mens changing rooms very messy, dont appear to be checked. Que for showers as one broken. Hot tub and hot room are outside..... its england!! Yestersay 13th though an average April day the pool as a sliding wall and it was open so pool area was very cold, also its more a fitness place with people doing laps so as a hotel guest it didnt work for us. So if your looking for the spa feel this isnt it which is what we were after.

Food was superb, service in the restaurant fantastic. Found reception staff cold, not at all welcoming same on departure ! Massage was very good, with lovely therapist. The spa was a bit tired with electrical point hanging with live wires exposed in steam room quite concerning. Golf course was very good, driving range In a bad location.

All good from reception to check out. Room was great but would have liked a bath. Food was good but I wasn't asked about my dietary requirements. Breakfast was very good but a tad limited. The staff were all enthusiastic and helpful. The leisure facilities were GREAT and the opening hours excellent

Very clean, comfortable and very quiet and peaceful. Great parking, quick check in and check out. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast! Wish I could have stayed longer, I’ll be back!

Chose Tewkesbury Park for a 3 day break and was not disappointed. One of the main bugbears when staying at hotels is the lack of cleanliness but Tewkesbury did not let us down with the room and bathroom of a high standard. Hotels can also be noisy but we were not disturbed by the usual bangs and knocks. Breakfast is also a plus factor with full English and Continental spreads available served by great staff. The hotel overlooks a beautiful golf course and although we did not get to go for a long walk while there I am sure that is also a plus point. Overall a very nice stay. Highly recommended. While there don't miss a visit to the Abbey with its breathtaking arcitecture.

The location was excellent, being peaceful & tranquil. The food was also excellent, breakfast In particular. The choice for dinner was rather limiting, but the curry was amazing! Unfortunately the accommodation was way below our expectations & was very disappointing. We booked an executive twin, which had a private patio overlooking the golf course with stunning views beyond, but we did have to share this with 2 resident voles! The room itself was very small with only a shower & no bath (again disappointing). The overall decor was very tired & the cleanliness left a lot to be desired: cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling/ dirty, dusty fan which did not oscillate/bottom of bathroom door rotten/bathroom ceiling fan extremely noisy & outside awning was missing a plug with the wires just dangling, to name but a few noticeable deficiencies. I wish I had reported my findings to reception, but didn’t want to make a fuss. My sister stayed here twice before on a golf package & had a completely different experience. Whether it was because we booked through hotels.com I don’t know, but our stay fell far short of our expectations & we would be interested in a response from the hotel direct if possible.

Spent a couple of nights at this hotel as we were visiting the Malvern showground Close by. The place was in very good condition and very clean. Enjoyed our stay.

A clean, comfortable and quiet oasis after early checkout from another hotel in Tewkesbury which I won't name but was the opposite...always check reviews before booking! Had stayed at Tewkesbury Park before so knew it has pleasant rooms, a large gym and great breakfast!

Had a really great stay. Enjoyed using our terrace/patio during the lovely weather, impressed by the planting/flowers around the terrace which made each terrace feel private. Our room and bed was very comfortable and clean. A few more nespresso cartridges would have been better, but there was cold water in the fridge and packets of biscuits which were appreciated. Grounds and buildings well maintained. Used the pool, outdoor jacuzzi and sauna and everything was clean and well maintained. The bar, lounge and dining areas were all lovely with a very relaxing vibe. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, all fresh and cooked items were hot. Juices were freshly squeezed and the coffee excellent. The only negative would be that the staff could have been friendlier... many of them were other nationalities and whilst they were helpful and polite, they lacked smiles and simple greetings when passing in the corridors or entering the dining areas.

Great stay as an overnight treat. Double executive room was excellent with its own terrace and view of the golf course. Restaurant food was delicious. Tewkesbury itself is a lovely little place to explore, very historical. Especially loved Tewksbury Abbey. Superb.

We had a wonderful stay - Our room was comfortable & spacious, the staff were friendly & helpful and the buffet breakfast was great!

Having stayed a few years ago we were delighted to return for a short trip to fit in with our weekend plans. We chose this hotel for the location we desired, the reception good, several short paths/doors/steps to room which was very pleasant, we like a cool room and turned off our heater, we like to have a window slightly open at night to sleep airily, we found bedding a tad too hot to sleep in, our room was above starting point for avid golfers who were very early chatty starters at 7am both mornings. Breakfast was very good and evening dinner was excellent, well done chef!!!! personally I loved my mini pud with coffee instead of big dessert All in all definitely recommend this hotel.

Really lovely hotel, the suite is definitely worth the upgrade.

All the staff were polite and helpful. Our rooms were very clean and included many little extras for our dog, so we didn't need to bring bed, bowls, towels etc with us. The patio areas were also well furnished with a bag of blankets to keep us warm, if required and we had lovely views from both rooms over the golf course, towards Tewkesbury and the hills beyond. There were several small lounge areas to enjoy, one of which we could share with our dog. We chose to eat in the dining room, dogs not allowed, the dining menu was limited but everything was fresh and delicious - we choose to eat there two nights. It was a 30 min walk to town, just over a mile. We found it difficult to navigate the dog walk around the golf course, some areas being too wet after recent rain but better signposting would have helped. I have already booked for another break next year and very much look forward to returning.

Shower is over the bath and entry/exit is difficult and no anti slip in bath where you exit/entry. Also bathrooms defintely need modernising/updating as old tired feel. 2. No wait service at bar mid afternoon. Had to go to bar to order and then wait to collect drinks. 3. Bar staff had no idea how to make a "dirty martini" or the ingredients. Very surprised as it is not a complex drink. 4. Breakfast was included, but if you want a latte/capucino you need to pay an extra £4.

This is a beautiful hotel in magnificent surroundings, but for us the communal bedroom areas are far from quiet and restful. After experiencing a disturbed nights sleep on a previous visit this year, we requested a 'quiet' room away from communal doors. The room we were allocated to was again at the end of a corridor by communal doors, but we were tired after a long journey and decided to settle in and cross our fingers for a great stay. Unfortunately we experienced another disturbed night. All the bedroom doors slam shut with a heavy bang as neighbours enter and leave throughout the night and early morning, resulting in disturbed sleep and on this case very tired and somewhat grumpy guests . At checkout I politely raised the noise issue with the supervisor who listened to my concerns and apologised, but did not seem too concerned that after spending over £200 per night over 2 visits these customers will not return. A few simple adaptions, especially to the bedroom door mechanisms would make such a difference to obtaining a good nights rest in what is overall a luxurious hotel. I hope the hotel owners will take this on board

This is our second stay when celebrating an event eg birthday/anniversary and the staff are just so lovely. Can’t do enough for you and those extra little touches. Rooms are great and such lovely views. Would return again and again.

Not interested in individual Business people, only interested in the group that were staying, the ladies on reception were cold and un welcoming, really could not be bothered, advised of a problem with my bathroom in the morning, didn't even acknowledge the issue! Would not stay there again, not a great hotel for Business travellers!

A lovely bank holiday weekend choice! We had three nights and, given that we had breakfast and use of the wellness facilities/pool, we thought it was very reasonable. Staff were discreet and polite but friendly and good humoured in spite of being so very busy. Would definitely come back again and hope to.

Had a wonderful stay at Tewkesbury Park Hotel. The hotel room was lovely and had everything you needed. Had breakfast both days and it was lovely food could not fault. Had dinner in mint resturant the service was very good and the food was amazing, definitely worth it. While we was there also had a massage, Lucy was lovely and the expeirence was very relaxing. Overall we had an amazing stay. One improvement i would say for the team was on check in provide guests with more infomation on the leisure facilities, as we were not certain what time pool opened etc. This trip was also for my partners birthday, before visting i emailed the team and agreed on a celebration plate after dinner however this did not happen, dinner was still amazing but would of been nice if this was carried out. Overall was an amazing stay and would happily stay again.

We were downgraded due to a problem with our original room. No effort made to make up for the inconvenience. They offered a reduced rate but then charged more without informing us up front, explaining the difference was their commission to Expedia so we’ve effectively paid the the hotel’s commission to Expedia. Appalling lack of transparency and shoddy treatment of customers. Needless to say we will not be returning.

The location is good. The hotel and grounds are really nice. My wife loved the pool and steam room. The hotel was excellent. We really loved it. It was luxery for us. The breakfast was fantastic. All the staff we met were really good, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely return. A great few days were had.

The hotel is in a beautiful location . Ideally situated to visit The Cotswolds . Scenery all around the hotel is beautiful. Tewksbury is full of character and history .

Fantastic hotel in Tewksbury right where the major. Style happened in the war of the roses. Food, service and hotel are lovely a bit modern classic. Everyone was very be friendly. Great golf course and spa on site, really recommend for a stay in the Cotswolds.

Lovely place to stay, we got upgraded to a suite as it was our anniversary which was really nice. Both breakfast and evening meals were superb. Very much recommended! Also nice easy walk into tewksbury centre as well.

I had the most relaxing weekend at Tewksbury Park. The bed was really comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The place is really quiet and everyone was helpful and just downright nice. We loved the food, at Mint, at the Lounge, at breakfast. And they catered for our food intolerancies as well as having a lot of choice for vegetarians and vegan. We loved the pool and the hot tub and the tennos courts were decent. We had fun and managed to relax and we never felt we really needed to leave the place. Definitely worth the money.

The property was comfortable and well serviced. Staff were well trained and helpful. Breakfast was good quality and there was a very good choice. The food in the restaurant was first class. I recommend the goat curry!

Breakfast was a disaster. Never seen a more badly organised service. They cut out room service altogether. Restaurant was average/good. Room very nice indeed. Staff friendly. It is a golf hotel, and one should remember that when booking.
