Friendly staff, lovely huge size room with a big bed and bathroom with a large bath and shower. The room was well decorated and the bathroom fresh and new. The stay would have been perfect if the weather had been cooler as even with 3 fans going (2 from the hotel and one of our own), the heat in the room was unbearable and when it got cooler in the evening, we were unable to open the windows as they were broken. I believe the building is listed so unable to get air conditioning. We would like to stay again in a cooler time of years.

Fantastic old building with lots of character by the river and in the middle of Tewkesbury. We arrived late and the staff really helpful getting us settled in. We had a good meal in the bar outside by the river. We were there in a heat wave and the staff had gone out of their way to make our room as cool as possible. Really relaxed stay.

I picked the hotel as it’s has a car park , but when I arrived I could not find , I called six seven times but no answer, I had to park in long stay 10mins away .when I arrived at the hotel there was just one member of staff covering the bar and reception, so not his fault . As usual with Hotels.com the room was up three lots of stairs and the furthest away from reception. The room was recently refurbished so very nice , but extremely warm with no fan .
