It was a standard Days Inn. No air conditioning, no fans available, it was a very hot weekend. Room on the small side. It was an accessible room but we found the lowered bath with shower over very difficult to use. Shower not clearly labelled regarding temperature etc. Staff were pleasant and helpful when i asked them anything. EV chargers only forTesla cars. I had to use the ones at the service station. Inconvenient for a disabled customer.

Hotels very clean and tidy , only issue was not being aware of the car park charges , £5 but I was only made aware when booking in , it was quiet thankfully as half the car park is electric vehicle charging limiting space for guests

Only downside was I reqested a ground floor room and was given the first floor. Not normally a problem but with 20kg bags and no lift it was hard for us women to carry the bags up 2 flights of stairs.

Hotel does not clean room everyday. You would have to request room to be cleaned , and will only be cleaned after 2 days (even with requested). Other than that , price point excellent and quieter then Ramada next door

I have stayed in cleaner rooms. There were dead insects along the skirting board and marks in the bathroom walls and shower. Seemed to be no insulation between floors as the elephant upstairs was thumping around both nights, on and off all night, both nights. We eventually gave up on sleeping and checked out very early and went home to our own beds. Probably won't be staying there again. On a good note staff were wounderfull and the reception area looked lovely.

Bedding had not been changed from (at least) the previous guest on our arrival at 10pm. There were stains (and more) on both the outside of the duvet and all over the sheet of the double bed. Plus stains on one of the children’s bedding sheet. The sink was also blocked. Staff told us to move to the room next door which had no heating on, and we had to make the bed ourselves. This room was also dirty, with ‘questionable hair’ by the sink. The hotel also felt very unsafe to both me and my daughter. If the younger children were not so tired after the flight I would have just driven straight home. Do not book, rooms are definitely not cleaned between guests, just tidied to appear like they have been.

Room 14 is right next to the main door and the stairs. So be warned. As it’s an airport hotel ppl are coming and going at all times with what sounds like massive holiday bags. Crashing and banging through the door and up and down the stairs all night.

Stayed over Christmas whilst visiting family. Extremely reasonably priced for the time of year. Warm and comfortable room with snuggly bed. Only 2 power points but that was enough for the kettle and phone charger. Supplies of tea, coffee etc available 24/7 from reception which was manned the whole time. Did have noise every night from the room above which sounded like floorboards or the shower tray creaking and heavy walking on the floor. Woke me up every night unfortunately. I was in room 18 so it was the one above that. Reception said it was different residents up there on 2 out of the 3 nights so not sure what was going on. Would stay there again though as very handy for family visits.

Went to the reception and the guy was asleep on the desk , had to wake him and he didn’t seem to know what he was doing . The room was very outdated paint coming off the walls , curtains were like 1980s . We only stayed for 6 hours and that was long enough.

I booked this hotel prior to flying from Stansted because hotel website says there is a shuttle bus...This is incorrect I was told at Stansted that there is no shuttle and that there are no local buses on Sundays. I had to get an Uber which cost £31 ! The person on reception was helpful and informed that we could use the local bus the following day and got us times. He also gave directions. 5 stars for reception staff, but the hotel website needs to be updated !

We arrived late evening and were departing early am to catch a flight. Mohammed was prompt in checking us in (and out) and was friendly and helpful. The room was perfect; clean and cosy for me and my two grown up kids to share. Short transfer by uber to the airport to ensure we got our early flight. All in all a pleasant experience.

The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful! The room was great, and very nice/clean for the price. Exceeded our expectations! They had everything perfectly set up for 4 people, the trundle bed was even already made. Also, a perfect location for getting to the airport early the next morning. Overall a wonderful experience.

Room quality was same as usual - good, and bed comfortable. I was woken at 2330 by someone trying to gain access to my room whilst I was asleep. The door mechanism was tried multiple times (I’ve been there, too!) before the person went away, presumably back to the desk. This can happen to anyone. However, they came back and the card had been re-coded, so they opened my door, though luckily I had hastily dressed and put the security chain across on the inside. This is what I take issue with - I was pretty annoyed that the desk had apparently recoded the card with disregard for the room occupancy! It was a family room, with inter-access door to the next room, so just suppose that a family had taken both rooms and installed their children in that room… When I took this up with the desk early the next morning, the receptionist simply said that they suffered an IT outage. No further explanation and just a simple “sorry, everything went down.” They didn’t acknowledge my point of view at all and it concerns me that protocols weren’t followed properly (surely??)

The hotel was fine for a short overnight stay. The lady on reception came across as a bit unfriendly at check-in. We had to go back to reception to order towels which had not been left in the room and to report a broken item which we did not want to get the blame fore at a later stage. I would use again in the future.

Slightly awkward to get to the airport but thats likely to be due to roadworks 309 bus to the airport bus stop was closed so had to walk to the next one along Otherwise no issues, saw some rabbits out of the window

This hotel is located at what we would call a travel rest-stop along the highway. It is close-ish to the airport, yes, but navigating without a car is difficult. If you have a vehicle, I think this is a fine hotel. If you are flying out of Stansted and get here via train/bus, it's difficult. There are no dining facilities at this hotel, however staff helpfully directed us across the car park to another hotel (where the chicken wings were fantastic!!). There is a bus stop across the highway, but although we waited for nearly 50 minutes in the rain, all 3 buses that drove by during this time had routes included the airport but did not stop. We ended up returning to the hotel to call a taxi.

Few hours stay before flying. Parking was free. Located very close to the airport which was super handy. Guy on front desk was helpful at check in. Noise of aeroplanes was noticeable but you can’t be surprised that close to the airport. Handy and convenient for a pre flight stay on a budget.

I stayed here because I read there was a shuttle to the airport. Instead on checkin I was told there is no shuttle and it was supposed to be updated already. Instead I had to pay another £25 to get an Uber to the airport. This was terribly inconvenient because we were traveling with two kids with car seats. So we had to install the car seats again to fit into the uber. Then repack it at the airport. Uber driver was great but not having the shuttle was disappointing. Again there is NO SHUTTLE. Just a bus which didn’t seem reliable to the airport and the trip is at least 30 minutes. Otherwise room was your average budget hotel in UK. US budget hotels are so much better. So having American names UK budget hotels mean nothing.

Good place for our one-night stay close to London while travelling by car from Germany to Scotland. It is a quiet location although close to Stansted Airport. Recommended!

Close to services for eating. Couldnt find the bus to the airport so had to get an Uber. Not fun early on a wet morning! Could have done with better instructions from the hotel staff.

The hotel was exactly as we expected, but the service was better. The receptionist could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious and had everything you'd expect from a 3 star place. It did need a little touch of paint to spruce it up a bit, but it was nice and clean and comfortable. It was easily reached by bus from Stanstead airport. There is a welcome break station next to it, so has whatever you need. It also has a partnership with the Ramada bext door for breakfast and dinner- which were both really good. In fact, better ghan we expected. Great stay for us.
