Ramada London Stansted Airport

A reasonable hotel with a comfortable enough room. The air conditioning unit was very noisy though, so I turned it off. The elevator was not working, but not a problem for me. The breakfast buffet was okay.

On the service station so plenty of choice for dining etc and good parking - i did think that £5 extra for the parking was too much - but paid anyway

Room was cold. Food was very poor. Vegetarian nachos came with bacon. Vegetables never arrived for the sausage and mash. Close to the airport with EV chargers.

Hotel is right on the services, directions to parking were poor. Ended up paying £5 for parking, even though it stated that it has on site free parking. Room air conditioning was very noisy so had to be left off, which made the room very hot with my family of 4 sleeping in there.

Not so good this time only because I was put on first floor and lift not work , Visit Before I was ground floor , I have weak legs so not good to use stairs with luggage .

The hotel was clean and no frills. No fridge no phone no ice machine. Staff was very friendly and helpful,

Nice and convenient to the airport. Lift was broken though. Had to carry up 4 cases up 3 flights of stairs. Definitely not ideal.

After a day of travel nice to stop at the end of the day. Checkin was quick and easy. Travelling from Australia,, surprised the room didn’t have a bar fridge ( I didn’t check if in room details- lesson for me). I had the impression there was a hotel carpark . The carpark is part of the main carpark that includes a mini shopping centre- mainly fast food outlets. The first 2 hours free, but then 5gbp. It was an extra cost I hadn’t realised. If you book directly with hotel this parking fee is absorbed in their pricing. The room when we first entered was stale -and the aircon was noisy during the night. I would not stay here again if in the area.

Stay at hotel was okay. Used prior to early morning flight. One thing cropped up at point of booking. Ramada charge for parking unless you book via Ramada directly. I was not aware of this charge, it is only £5. This charge has been introduced since May as i stayed there then and all guests had free parking.

Overall, the room was dirty, smelly and grubby! The bathroom room door was broken, the bathroom fan turned off with the lights. This probably contributed to the mould issues!! The tiled floor was black with dirt and smelled of urine!

The room needed a thorough clean, the floors hadn’t been mopped in a while black dirt coming off it, and there was a musty smell throughout. The bathroom was didn’t appear to have been cleaned before our arrival. While the hotel is in a convenient location, there were no dedicated or reserved parking spots for guests. As it also serves as a hub for other services, parking during business hours was extremely limited. We had to park much further away, which was a hassle when managing luggage. There was confusion during check-in regarding whether our full stay parking had been covered. The night staff may not had registered our car, which added unnecessary confusion, but we resolved it in the end.

The rooms were disgusting. There’s no night manager to complain to and the two guys who were on were basically uninterested. We had booked two rooms ended up changing one of them once the other twice. The first family room stank of smoke as did the second. We ended up having to take a third double room. The first triple room was so dirty there were pubic hairs in the bed and the bathroom had visible puke on the wall. We arrived at 11pm for a 6am flight and it was no doubt the crappiest hotel stay I’ve ever had.

Had a overnight layover. Room was clean, bed was comfy, staff was kind

My hotel room was honestly pretty gross. There was hair all over the place and even toothpaste stuck to the bathroom counter… I would not recommend for that reason. However, it was very close to a large food court which was extremely convenient.

The hotel was so dirty the room was awful and tired the bathroom was dirty with hairs in the shower the bedroom was smelly and the bedding was very old This hotel is a disgrace

I arrived to the room and found the room to have the dirtiest bathroom floor I have seen. The bedroom carpet was also badly stained. I tried to change rooms/hotel but due to my late arrival and very early departure I was unable to. Thankfully I was there 7 hours only. I have reported the hotel to the head office in the USA. The staff were very friendly and clearly upset by my complaint.

Clean, warm and comfortable room.

I was freezing all night and the heater was EXTREMELY LOUD and to make it worse it didn’t even work!

Room was an igloo, so bad they provided an oil heater just to try and warm it up, decoration was showing its age with damage to walls

The bed are awful. Back hurting and couldn’t sleep

It sounded like our room was next to a generator. When the purpose of the stay is to get some sleep before an early flight the walls vibrating and really loud noise made it impossible to sleep - literally pointless.

Room was extremely noisy. Air con was noisy. Toilet refill was noisy. And there was a weird water pipe noise every 10 mins. Lucky we were on a quick overnight stay.

The hotel is quite run down. The room was cold and heating only blew out cold air. I also had uo pay £5 for parking which was not mentioned when i booked

Please sort out your TV service. Channels constantly pixelating made viewing very frustrating. Unable to watch some channels ie quest as not programmed. Other than that it was excellent

No one at the desk when I arrived so had to wait a while. Given a quiet room as requested but every channel was pixelated on the TV. Went back to the desk - waited again for someone to arrive. The staff member went and checked another room near mine and on return said “All the channels are pixelated there too. I’m not sure what I can do about that. Sorry.” The room was incredibly hot and I barely slept for 30 mins the whole night so not really worth booking ‘to be refreshed for the airport’.

This was a great place to stay ahead of catching an early flight from Stanstead. Reasonably price and room - and quiet too. My only gripe is that none of thr bedroom windows open and the air was stale - even with aircon.

Staffs were amazing.... Warm welcome from staff and especially the one who were at the reception (Philippines )were good.... And food were excellent.. Chef's were friendly and good service

I booked for one night On arrival the staff said, aww we have double booked your room. We don’t have room to accommodate you and your family Can you go to near by hotel Days inn This should not happen to the family travelling with disabled person.

The person front of desk on check-in needs some training. He was detached and not very attentive. Probably shouldn't be working in a hotel.

I was on my own they made me so at home...help me friendly what can say the guy on the reception was great Alvin.and the young girl too...

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Karolina on reception and Ben who cooked us a delicious meal. Ideal for the airport. Will definitely return when flying from Stansted again.

When I arrived at the hotel I was informed the lift was broken. The receptionist said my room was on the second floor and would I like one on a lower level. I said I would if possible as I’ve head spinal surgery so cannot lift heavy bags. He changed my room from the triple family room I booked to a double. Adequate as I was travelling alone. He carried my case to the first floor for me then left. I walked to my room and opened the door using the key card. As I opened the door there was a towel on the floor. I thought that’s weird maybe the room hasn’t been cleaned. Then a man jumped out of the bed (naked) and started shouting at me to get out of his room. I was absolutely mortified for both myself and him. I went back to reception and said that room is occupied! He said that’s strange it says it’s empty on the system. He then gave me a new room and came with me to check that wasn’t occupied. I went into my new room and bolted the door and put the chain on. I didn’t sleep well after the shock of the event and then the thought that anyone could be given a key card for my room. This was really alarming from a safety and security point of view. I would not stay here again.

Rude check in staff, totally changing your experience of the property.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was mixed. The noise levels were quite high, which made it difficult to relax. Unfortunately, the inconvenience of roadworks meant the bus didn't run to the hotel, which was frustrating. During the day, the front desk staff came across as rude, but the lady working at night was incredibly sweet and helpful.

Nice hotel. Really nice check-in staff. My only criticism is that the signage in front of the hotel is obscured. I arrived at night and and passed it three times. The signs to it, off the main road are small and do not stand out. Once you are in the motorway services car park, the hotel is to the left of you behind some trees and very difficult to see for a solo driver.

I was quite disappointed with my stay at this property. The condition of the hotel is very old and in urgent need of a major renovation. The rooms and common areas have an unpleasant smell, which made the experience uncomfortable. The location is also problematic — it is far from Stansted Airport, contrary to how it was described, and not convenient at all. The description on the listing was misleading and did not reflect the actual condition or location of the property. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made.

This hotel is very misleading. It is called Ramada by Wyndham London Stansted Airport but it is NOT at the airport, it is in the services at on the M11

Stayed here the night before a flight from Stansted Airport. Hotel was a little odd, room layout pointlessly strange. I suspect different architecture that hasn't dated well. Hotel was fine for what it was but staff felt very impersonal. Certainly did the job but there was nothing of note good or bad about the experience. Functional overnight stay in a motorway service station, but very convenient for Stansted Airport.

Stayed here to get an early morning flight from Stansted airport. There is a public bus service a few minutes walk from the hotel although this is not t signposted. I used Google Maps to find out. It's much cheaper to get the bus - £3.00 - than a taxi. Amenities are very basic and rather tired. This hotel is located on a Service Area. I used the fast food dining options inside the services to take something back to my room to eat. Fire the price and an overnight stay for a flight it was OK but don't expect any luxury!

It is stretching it to call it Wyndham London Stansted Airport - it is a £60 return taxi ride away from the airport. The hotel is good, well worth the money, but only if you have your own transport

Buffet breakfast poor on friday morning . Saturday /sunday excellent good value for money room basic but had everything we needed bedding and rooms very clean Alot of amenities around good place

being charged £5 for parking ,wife had a gamm on steak took one bit e made her feel sick it was covered in oil and spices she was offered another steak but felt to ill to eat anything ,staff not allowed to give refunds

Basic but comfortable room, staff doesn't seem very happy and engaging unfortunately.... Restaurant very slow to serve. Overall not a bad hotel to stay if you flying out of Stansted or passing by

The decor was basic and tired, every where could have done with a refresh, and the breakfast was quite ordinary - lukewarm as it had been sitting under lights for a while before we got there.

Was a bit disappointed as Ramada have a good reputation but facilities were basic i believe i was put in a "workside" room which was ok but a bit basic. Had a hot chocolate from the bar downstairs but wasnt measured just poured from a bag and added milk after which wasnt very warm or mixed properly. Breakfast was a real let down, luke warm food with little to no items left over despite the fact the food was on the pass of the kitchen with the chef looking at it, 90% of tables were dirty which the duty manager seemed to find amusing leaving the chef to clear tables, overall was ok but i wouldnt be in too much of a rush to stay again even for work despite the conpetitive price

The beds are a little high, which was difficult for my elderly mother and a little soft but overall the room was comfortable. Breakfast was good - though limited for plant based options.

2nd stay at the property, this was better than the last time, rooms cleaner and in better state of repair. Downside was the breakfast, the one on Saterday was good , the one this morning was poor a staff member behind the breakfast bar more interested in playing on his mobile phone than making sure everything was as it should be, no orange juice, no milk no bread had to ask each time before he would go and replenish the counter.waited for bacon because he had not bothered to check if there was any left on the counter when it came it was as though it had been quickly pinged in the microwave, grey with sickly yellow fat , no thanks. Shame that one individual can spoil whst slould have been a good review.

Hadn’t realised had to pay for parking. Good there was a bar and food options. Lady on reception was very helpful and very smiley / happy. (That is a rarity these days). Room was as expected and worked well for a small family.
