Best Western Premier Suites Hotel & Spa Liverpool-Knowsley

Staff were lovely and friendly. Attentive. Helpful. Accommodating. Rooms clean but Property needs some attention. Leaking tap and toilet in bathroom. Kettle didn't switch off. Not enough cups for 3 people. Not enough pillows. Only plug near mirror when using hairdryer not useable by hairdryer as bedside table glued to the wall making the plug inaccessible. Shower in spa freezing. Spa hairdryer not working. Room was comfortable and spacious and clean. hotel was quiet (it was new years eve) disappointed restaurant not open and spa not open on new years day. Car parking was free and plentiful. Would be useful to have an ev vehicle charger put in for customer use. Lampshades in bedroom need replacing. Carpet was clean and room smelt nice. More tea coffee and milk would have been nice .

The hotel was not very clean. The TV was broken d not repaired. The pool had been over chlorinated and so could not be used. Other guests used breakfast as an opportunity to create a packed lunch leaving insufficient food and options for breakfast

The staff were warm, friendly and helpful during our one night stay. Whilst the facilities were a little dated, everything was in excellent working order and the pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were a welcome addition to our stay. The breakfast was tasty, with plenty of options. We were in town for a LFC match and it was an ideal location for us.

It was easy to find the hotel. The staff on site were present upon arrival,they checked me in and answered any queries I had. The room I had was the standard room with king-size bed. My room came with seperate lounge area and the bathroom obviously. It was clean and tidy and smelt fresh. To my surprise my room had its own iron n ironing board so no waiting around for one to be free. The bed was comfy too. The restaurant was clean and tidy and a buffet breakfast is served. It has its own gym n spa. The staff were courteous and I enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

We had to be moved rooms as we had no hot water coming out of the shower. The room itself was fine, just a little run down. We asked for our towels to be changed as we were there for 3 nights but this didn’t happen. I had to go to reception and get them myself. The ladies changing rooms had a horrible smell and clearly were not cleaned for the 3 nights we were there. The empty, broken wash and shampoo bottles in the showers were still there when we left, which is a shame because the pool is lovely. The hot tub was roped off for cleaning and the steam room was the hottest steam room I’ve ever been in. This hotel served a purpose but we won’t be returning.

The whole reason i picked this hotel for a break because it had a pool . But the pool was not in use was very disappointed

Dirty room, mud on bathroom floor, dust all over bathroom and dirty cotton buds and mascara brush in bedroom. Went to reception and was given a new room and it was much better

Had a terrible experience. From the moment I stepped into my room (Room 212), it was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were not a priority. The room was covered in dust, surfaces were sticky, and the heater vents were clogged with dust and debris. The towels had not been changed after the previous guest and still had visible toothpaste marks. To make matters worse, there were crisp crumbs on the sofa, the food menu was stuck together with old food stains, and the bathroom was filthy—shaving hairs near the toilet, a dirty floor with multiple hairs, and a mirror splattered with toothpaste marks. Given the state of the room, I didn’t feel comfortable using the spa facilities, as I had lost all confidence in the hotel's hygiene standards. I was so disgusted that I checked out early and am relieved I didn’t have to stay longer. This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

The room itself was dusty. I mean, the desk area below the tv which couldn’t be missed by a blind cleaner, had thick dust covering it. Also the window was locked shut and there was no air con. Thankfully there was a fan however that offered little comfort. The sink was blocked with goodness knows what but after the tap flowed for ten seconds the sink soon filled and yes, I double checked that the plug was up :). Complained when checking out but was told by the uninterested lady ‘all I can do is offer my apologies’. Apologies do not make up for the lack of sleep due to the uncomfortable room. Horrendous. If you stay here please ensure you do not stay in room 321.

Dirty, dated rooms with paint and wallpaper peeling, in much need of a deep clean and refurbishment. Asked for a room change but to no avail

Large rooms, clean and very comfortable

The room was a good size and looked good, overall not very clean and toilet would always flush. Slept well but on going down for breakfast the hotel was full of children! and the staff were not prepared so first day breakfast was a coffee when we eventually got a cup, second day was marginally better as I got toast but it was like a boarding school full of children… not the pleasant stay I had in mind for my girlfriend who is supposed to be resting

Stayed for 2 nights, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was huge with comfy bed. Room was pretty clean, few spots missed in bathroom but overall pretty good.

The staff were friendly and professional, the room was large but extremely dated and worn out, the king sized bed was actually 2 beds pushed together which was not comfortable due to the gap in the middle of the bed. The furniture in the room was knackered, doors on cupboards were loose and didn’t open/close properly. The lampshades were broken and dirty the bath was clean but the coating was coming away which made it look dirty and would harbour bacteria. The TV in the bedroom was decent but not connected to the internet so couldn’t use any streaming apps or screen share my phone to watch anything. The chicken burger I had for dinner was reasonably priced and tasty. the breakfast was pretty good and the staff were friendly too.

Suite was great. Loads of space and good amenities. Some bad points - no fridge, mattress was sagging and the shower had a curtain and not glass screen. Staff were friendly and inviting and the overall hotel was a lovely place to stay.

This was my first bad experience here. Room was very warm and the fan provided didnt cool and had months of dirt on it. Cups hadnt been cleaned from previuos occupier and wifi as well as televsion signal dropped Other visits have been much better

Well-equipped hotel, a little tired looking room decor, in spite of updating with USB sockets. Sink tap set to spray to the left and right for some reason and only luke warm water available for sink and shower. This appeared to be an “executive suite” in the spa wing, having a separate area with two seater settee, table chairs and desk. Two televisions, one in this room, one in the bedroom area.

Receptionist really helpful, sofa bed was really uncomfortable full of springs. Room very spacious.

Staff lovely, pool great, rooms definitely need updating, tiles missing in bathroom, our other room had smell coming from the old sink in the main room, wallpaper peeling from walls…. Just updates needed

I booked a family room with a king bed and a sofa bed for two nights but was checked in to a room with just the king bed. When I brought this up with the staff, there was no empathy from them whatsoever. They claimed Expedia sent the wrong booking and the attitude was, we dont have the room you booked available, if you dont want the room, check out and ask Expedia for the refund. I got in touch with Expedia, who called the hotel and got the same response. This was Friday evening and I had an event on Saturday morning, so thought to manage the room and then claim the difference in price beteeen the two rooms back. The room itself was not great. Apart from everything being dated, the room was also not cleaned properly, The lamps were dusty and there was hair strands of a previous guest in the shower. The bath tap was old, discoloured and squirted water when turned on. On a positive note, the air conditioning was effective and the bed was comfortable. As a result of all of these, l decided to shorten my stay, so checked out a day early. Even then, the attitude was, okay, bye. So I cut my two day holiday to Liverpool short and went back home afer one day. When I asked the hotel to refund me the difference in the price of the room I booked and the room I was given, the directed me back to Expedia, since I booked through them. Expedia contacted them and they declined to refund the difference, quoting some policies. Eventually, Expedia kindly refunded me.the whole stay.

Had issues with our room key when we arrived but the woman on reception sorted the problem out withing a few minutes and gave us another available room, she was lovely. The room was massive it felt like we had our own apartment as bedroom was seperate from living room and bathroom. Bed comfy and no issues with noise. Only issue was the shower either went freezing or absolutely roasting feel like the system could do with an update. Amazing that you can use the swimming pool and jacuzzi until half 9 so we went for a swim in the evening! Can't wait to stay again!

One of the busiest Liverpool weekends of the year and were only doing one evening sitting in the restaurant due to understaffing. Not much good to say to be honest considering the amount paid :(

Travelled all the way from Swansea checked in ok then popped out came back to my bed not being made (sofa bed ) when I asked the reception the staff didn’t even know about my room etc when a member of staff then realized my sofa bed had to be made he then came to my room to make my bed etc even though my daughter was asleep she’s only 3 it woke her up this is totally unacceptable. also no hairdryer in the room or bin to put rubbish in. The flush in the toilet was also broke so will not be staying her again I feel abit robbed to be honest 260 pound for two nights the breakfast was average to.

Went to attend the grand national along with most of the hotels guest very very short staffed the ones that were in tried so hard but fell well short , management non existent ,restaurant far to small to accommodate its room arrived at 6pm couldn’t book a table the first night so booked for the second night arrive at 8pm to again short staffed to 10 mins before a drinks order or food order taken the 30 mins after that poor waitress had to explain that they had ran out of most of the core components to an already very basic menus , overly inflated prices for this weekend and really didn’t deliver suit a shame best western reputation being put at risk

Overall my stay was very good and enjoyable. The only downside was having to wait for breakfast items to come out which meant long queues and having to go back for certain items. Other than that I would stay again.

Reception staff were reall unhelpful we were staying to go to a concert and had asked for early check in when we arrived we were told they couldn’t do early check in. We had lunch and went back 2 hours later still nothing available asked if we could use the changing room at the spa to start getting ready as a compromise but said we couldn’t so literally sat in reception for 3 hours waiting ended up with case open in reception getting ready etc when we could have been felt welcome and just got ready in the changing rooms. The car staff were lovely but reception were appalling.

The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant, especially for he restaurant manager who worked hard helping her staff and meeting customer expectations. The spa facilities were great and the food was very nice. The hotel is not in the centre, just 20 minutes by car.

Very good for the price, easy access to LFC academy which is why we were here.

Very spacious room with lots of storage. Breakfast was lovely but we did ask if there was any chance of an early breakfast for 2 of our party (toast and cereal) as they had to leave early for a dance convention, but we're told this was not an option. Lots of TV channels and free parking was a bonus. Couple of negatives - bathroom lock didn't work, the quilt for the sofa bed was smaller than the bed so not really fit for purpose,

Hotel was lovely, beds comfy and room nice, all very clean, spa, pool , everywhere. Front desk welcoming, staff was nice. Dinner wasn't a great experience, wasn't allowed in the bistro/restaurant part only in the bar which feels like a bit of a waiting room. Food was average. No comments had to ask for salt and pepper brought over in little sachets. In the room, tiny amount of tea/coffee/milk and only 2 cups and glasses with 3 people sharing. Just little things missed. Not allowed to use pool after checkout, said for insurance, I have used the pool everywhere I have ever stayed after checkouts, usually get two hours. Breakfast felt chaotic people waiting around for refills like milk , cereal, bacon ...many items, didn't seem to be enough staff.

We had a really lovely stay at the Best Western Premier Knowsley Suites Hotel & Spa when we went to Liverpool for the weekend. The staff in the restaurant were extremely helpful with my gluten intolerant son and went out of their way to help us with options.
