This place is a basic guest house, no breakfast offered, choice of on suite or shared bathrooms, the rooms are small with tea and coffee stuff even a microwave, but no shower/ shampoo offered in the rooms. Yes it has free parking next to the property, yes it is 5 minutes from Ipswich train station, yes it is 20 minutes to the town centre, but would I stay there again no.

The guest house was, warm, clean, very peaceful, managed by Haroon and his wife, who makes you feel welcome, Only ten mins walk from Ipswich city centre, a bus stop outside and the train station close by, a few mins away, The hotel is well insulated from any road or train noise, as well as free private car parking alongside.

This was a basic hotel located very close to Ipswich railway station. No breakfast option unfortunately. The room was big with a nice double bed but not gen-suite. It was an enjoyable stay.

Second visit here. Great value guest house with comfy bed and ensuite at a very reasonable cost. Spacious parking and a real bonus being so close to the station. 1st choice whenever I'm near Ipswich.

Cheap and cheerful. Very convenient for train station. Free parking off road. Can't complain given the bargain price I paid. I arrived late and left early. Friendly staff at check in.

The room was clean, but the shared shower and toilet facilities were very small and there was no wash hand basin in the toilet! Unfortunately there was a lingering smell of cooking, even on the second floor where our room was located. Considering the price it wasn’t too bad as a bed for the night, but I won’t be coming back

The room was not serviced for the 3 days were there so the cups wet not washed up nor the milk replenished and the bins were overflowing by the time we left.

I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom which unfortunately was not the cleanest. The walls were paper thin and unfortunately I had to deal with the guy next doors constant, relentless snoring all night. Apart from this the staff seemed very friendly and the room was only £35 so i guess I got what I paid for.

Bridge Guest House was clean, the triple room we stayed in was a good size, and the staff were friendly. For the price, which was very cheap, it was all we needed. The ensuite bathroom was small and not great, but usable. For a similar price you can stay in the easyHotel in Ipswich but Bridge House has the advantages of free parking, bigger rooms and more personality.

The location was great and it was perfectly located, you were at the central station in three minutes and can reach everything else within a 10 min walk. The owner was extremely nice and took care of me very well. The house is old and although you could tell they tried hard to keep the shared bathrooms clean, this wasn’t always the case. The house was fukky booked though so I appreciate the effort! I’d definitely come back!

The property was relatively easy to find and to get to town. We needed a room at short notice for a reasonable cost and accepted this 2 star as availability was limited and that it was not going to provide 5 star facilities. The property is tired and worn and feels and smells musty and dank in the dining room. The room was adequate, the mattress felt uncomfortable and the listed to one side. Grotty bathroom with poor flow shower water and luke warm water, even through the sink hot tap was hot. Shower head was fixed and spraying in the wrong direction as it needs descaling/replacement. Broken fixtures in the bathroom too. As its close to the train station it was also noisy early morning. It did the job we needed but we would not recommend staying here and we definitely will not ever stay again.

It was ok for 1 night. I can see why its so cheap. The condition of the room was unclean, the microwave was dirty inside, hole on the duvet and very stuffy. Have to share the shower and toliet with other guests.

Decent bed, clean room, nice manager. Parking available free. Right next to teain station so within walking distance of distance stadium and away pub. Several rooms have shared bathroom/toilet. Hotel wasnt busy when i stayed so not a big issue and the room waa cheap so fine. Coffee and tea in the room was nice touch. Walls a bit thin, the guy in the room next to me snored like a train and made more noise than the actual trainline. I was only there a few hours to sleep so it didn't matter too much.

Bedside light did not work. No plug for sink and a faulty tv that turned itself on twice in the middle of the night( I unplugged it after the second time). Light in hallway was faulty and buzzed continuously

With its excellent location by the train station, and value for money, staying here last night was perfect! The hotel has everything you will need for your trip. The host was super friendly and accommodating, staying up late to check me in which was greatly appreciated. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and was very happy with my stay.

It was easy to find. Haroon was friendly and helpful when enquiries made for a local taxi and for restaurants. Although there was tea and coffee making facitlies perhaps there could be some biscuits included as there was no breakfast available here. The room we stayed in needed some repair work on the ceiling and there was minimal offerings in the bathroom i.e only x2 small tablets of soap. However, it was clean and comfortable.

Bog standard bed and bathroom.very disappointed that a bed and breakfast doesn't offer breakfast take the sign off the front door. Fairly quiet and easy to find close to the trainstation
