The Andaz is brand new and everything from the lobby to the restaurant to the suits has been done immaculately. I am a local (Surfside resident) and we just stayed at the Andaz for 2 nights to enjoy the facilities and celebrate my birthday. We definitely enjoyed our stay! We checked out all the facilities; Everything looked great. The Gym is fully stocked with everything you need for a good or even serious workout. But it was hard to find it because signage is not great in the property. Same goes for the Spa. It was beautiful, the only thing it missed was not having a steam room; but if you don’t mind not having a steam bath, it’s just perfect. The dry sauna is very nice and spacious. The Spa also is not well marked so you must ask where to go. As a guest, a guide of where things are is a good idea. The staff could not be friendlier and helpful; they’ve earned 20 out of 10 - kudos to all of them for their professionalism. They meant to help and make our experience a good one and they did that very well. The rooms are very well appointed and the suite we had was beautiful and comfortable. I will definitely return and will encourage my friends and family to consider the Andaz in their next visit to a Miami Beach.

The ANDAZ is perfectly located. Amenities all around. The hotel is luxurious yet family friendly. The lunch we had at the bar around the pool was incredible. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Service was amazing . I highly recommend the ANDAZ.

I stayed at Andaz during Art Basel this year, and it was a wonderful experience. Super welcoming staff, incredible breakfast buffet, nice pools, and literally everything you expect form and excellent hotel! I would certainly go back!

My stay at the Andaz Miami was a huge letdown. Room service took over an hour to deliver a latte, and after three follow-up calls, I was told to just keep waiting. For two days, my room wasn’t cleaned, even though I asked the front desk in person and by phone. I was also given an ADA room for no reason, and the bathroom fan was loud and turned on automatically with the light. Overall, the service was unprofessional and careless—not what you’d expect from a so-called five-star hotel.

Service was great everywhere. The rooms are pretty small, but clean and modern. Mid-beach is a quaint area— not happening like South Beach. The beach boardwalk is lovely and there are a few restaurants walking distance from hotel, but not huge selection.

We understood we might not be able to get in, but would still be able to use the amenities and they would hold our luggage. Upon arrival at 11am, both rooms were ready for us which was such a relief! The rooms were super clean, great atheistic, and spacious! We went to the pool all 3 days and had pool side service which was great. The days that it was busier, the service was a little slow but no big deal! We felt like we were on a tropical vacation. The hotel decor, aesthetic, and vibes were amazing! Great location as well, a little less busy than south beach.

We have stayed in many properties on South Beach, and this was absolutely our favorite. The staff is so helpful. Everyone is chill and yet attentive. You don't order food at the beach and wait an hour for delivery. Everything is kind, thorough, thoughtful. The cleaning service is mindful, leaving little extras that you use more of than others, everyone greets you, the service is friendly, but not overly eager. Folks-be kind to the beach staff. They have no control over the weather and when umbrellas have to go up and down. Those humans on the beach were some of the most patient people I've ever seen, dealing with complaints about THE WEATHER, or the staff not wanting guests to be speared by flying umbrellas in storms. Those are tough jobs, and they do them so well. Will happily stay here again.
