Lovely resort right on the beach at the south end of Khao Lak. The rooms are older but well maintained, and comfortable with lots of space, including huge bathrooms. I loved the beautiful grounds and get-away-from-it-all vibe of the property. My room rate included the buffet breakfast, which had a large variety of western and Asian choices along with an egg station/omelet bar. Nice environmentally friendly touch with the glass water bottles in the rooms too. Cheers.

We booked specific rooms and upon arrival did not receive the rooms that we chose. This was also after confirming the rooms via email directly with the resort. We finally ended up with the rooms we chose after talking on the telephone with the owner who wanted to charge us 50% extra for the rooms that we booked. Through the duration of our stay teabags were never replenished. There was no mini bar. The glasses in the room had mould in them. At one stage they had allegedly run out of spirits to make cocktails which coincidentally happen to be in happy hour.

We loved our stay at this resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room had all the amenities required including comfortable beds, a hot and plentiful shower and even umbrellas in case it rained. The resort facilities are excellent with manicured gardens, two large pools and a beautiful beach, we had no problem getting sun lounger there or at the pools. Breakfast was very good with a range of options and the usual egg station. The restaurant was also very good. The resort is slightly out of town but there is an excellent restaurant on the beach next door and we saw guests using shared taxis to get around. The resort may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to a slight hill to reception and breakfast, some rooms are also upstairs. There is plenty to do and see nearby including the national park and Royal Navy turtle conservation centre (take your passport). I highly recommended this resort and will certainly stay again if in the area.
