We were stuck in an elevator for almost 2 hours. We were forgotten about and passed off the 11 o’clock person left her shift. Maintenance was on premises and was never called. Fireman were not called until 45 minutes past no accountability at all. All employees are still employed, no incident report, no elevator technician very unsafe no district manager no phone calls. Nothing never again in the morning. The staff was using the elevators as well as the guests absolutely astonishing horrible.

The pool in the picture is NOT the pool on the property. The pool this facility actually has is over chlorinated and poorly maintained. They are using a bandaid for tape. The doors to the outside are not sealed so the area itself is freezing. The pool is heated but when you get out be prepared to be very cold, very quickly. The vent is falling apart. The walls are cracked and all of the windows have frozen water on the inside, it is that cold! Lobby and breakfast are great. My room had dead flies on the window sill. My couch and carpet were all stained up. The luggage racks are so stained and disgusting. I opted to make multiple trips instead of using them.

Booked a room so that my 12 year old daughter could swim for her birthday. Prior to booking, I called to make sure pool was available. I was told it would be open so I booked the room. On the day of checking in, came down that evening and was told pool was closed and would open up Saturday morning. Well Saturday came and was told they were waiting on a contractor to come out to fix the pool. I booked this room just for the pool, so imagine my frustrations. They were not transparent with me and were only interested in getting me to book a room. I asked to be refunded based on misleading information but they stated their cancellation policy. That definitely didn’t fit my situation but there was nothing else I could do. Never staying there again and definitely won’t get any recommendations from me.

Our room was dirty when we walked in the door. Food left in the fridge and crumbs all over the couch. Then no one stopped the children from running around at 12:30 in the morning. They knocked on all guests doors and ran up and down the hall. They should have been kicked out of the hotel. Then there were red ants all over in our room on the second floor. If you don’t clean the rooms ants will find a way to get there.

This hotel was so dirty. Our room was so dusty the couch cushions were soiled. The beds and linens looked clean so we just dealt with it but housekeeping definitely needs to up their game. Elevators halls and gym were all dirty. Breakfast was par. Restaurant closed . Signs posted everywhere advertising the food we went to sit and they said sorry closed we are out of food. Advertised WiFi but wouldn’t give password. Won’t be staying there again. Guy at desk however was very friendly.

Upon check in I was asked to fill out a credit card authorization form on paper. I expressed discomfort in doing so as this carries with it a high likelihood of identity fraud. The person at the front desk went to go ask his manager and came back to tell me that this is the only way as their credit card reader was not working. I was told that I could take the form back at check-out; however, at check-out when I asked for it, I was told I can't get it back b/c they need it in case there was damage to the room . . . The room itself is a different story. After going to bed at 10pm, I got back up b/c I forgot something and as soon as I turned on the light, a cockroach crawled onto the towel I had next to the bathroom sink. Disgusting. . .I went down and showed them pictures and they moved us to another room. This is the only remedy they offered though, which is not acceptable. I will not be staying here again. I would rather pay a bit more and stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Rochester.

When we got there everything was down to check in WiFi. We finally got our room and I kid you not walked into our room was not cleaned at all. Bedding and pillows in the bathroom and shower bed was standing upright on the wall. Couch had nothing on it just the pull out bed part. Iron and blow drier on the floor. Garbage was full. They gave me a different room with two double beds didn’t have anymore rooms at all. We had a king size room. When we got into that one stains everyone on the grounds and cords hanging everywhere for the phones and tv the lights didn’t work on the one side of the room. They said they wouldn’t do refunds or compensate at all. Won’t stay in this hotel ever again.

The staff was very pleasant and apologetic. I killed 2 bugs in the bathroom. The bathroom ceiling was repaired previously but nrver repainted. The walls in the hallway were warped from water damage. Trash in the parking lot and on the ground at the side entrance. We were at this establishment for 3 days snd the trash was there the whole time. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good.

The hotel was very dirty. The elevator buttons were held together by packing tape on our floor. Our room was very dirty upon arrival, the carpet had not been vacuumed in probably a long time. Not only was there crumbs all over, but the corners were packed with fuzzies and crumbs as well. The shower curtain had dark makeup lines on it, indicating that it had not been changed from the last person. The hotel ran out of coffee at breakfast, I asked if she could make me some from behind the counter but was told I would be charged and that I had free coffee in my room. We will not be back to this hotel, which is a shame because we do frequent the area for concerts and shopping.

Was hoping for a hottub in pool area. No luck. Also the pool room was COLD so skipped trying the pool. Breakfast was very good quality wise but limited selections. Quality was well above the average hotel bfast though. Room was very noisy (both plumbing and elevator nearby) i stay up pretty late and dont mind noise, but someone more sensitive to it would have a hard time sleeping for sure.

The room we stayed in was probably one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in with so much space. It had a separate sitting area the nice couch and desk area. There was a small sink by the coffee pot in addition to a spacious bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the warm pool water. The price to stay was very reasonable. The Great Lakes Crossing Mall is within minutes from the hotel. We plan on staying there every time we travel to Ford Field to see a Lions game.

This property is dated but reflected in the price. I don’t like how the bathroom counter and sink are outside the bathroom right in front of the bed. The shower and toilet area are very small. Outside of this, the rooms are nice, beds are comfortable etc. Hotel is a bit dated but kept up. Price is right. Staff were very courteous and hotel offered a standard continental breakfast that was nice.

We arrived for check in a little later than we hoped, 9:30pm to have to wait for a host to greet us. Took them about 10 minutes to finally show up and we realized they were sitting behind the pillar of the cafe area on their phone. Once we got into our room, we noticed it was a nice property but the pillows on the bed were small and looked like couch pillows. There was also water damage in the shower above the shower head. We only got our room cleaned once and that was on the fourth day after I asked housekeeping if the room was on their list. Late at night and early in the morning, other guests were so loud and disruptive that you would be awakened in the middle of the night. If I was to return to the area, I would probably look at other properties before giving this one a try,

I was very disappointed in the Hyatt. I was billed twice for my stay off my debit card. The money was all planned out for the concert and our stay. Well with them billing me twice ruined it so I wasn't able to go to the concert that night. The whole reason for me staying here was I've been here before many times and this is by far the worst stay ever for me. Very DISAPPOINTING 😞 😕

It was an average stay. We were excited to stay here with our kids for their first stay. Check in took about 30 minutes as there was only one person at the front and she was dealing with another customer. After a 3.5 hour drive with three toddlers, it wasn’t the greatest experience but it’s understandable . The front desk lady told us breakfast would be served until 10 am. We go down in the morning 10 after 9 and it’s all put away. The new front desk person said it’s only open till 9 on weekdays.not 10. These things were just inconvenient. I’ll go back to staying at marriot properties.

I was unimpressed by the check in process. We arrived at 3:45 and were told we didn’t have a room ready, even though check in was at 3:00. The front desk staff gave us no indication of why rooms weren’t ready and couldn’t provide any details as to when our room would be ready. This was our first and last time staying at a Hyatt hotel. I was booked twice for my stay at check in. Then when I went down to the front desk to inquire, the clerk was sitting off away from the counter on a personal call. They continued the personal call while I was asking questions and then finally told the person “let me call you back”, he proceeded to tell my husband that being charged twice was “not a big deal”. This infuriated my husband because he proceeded to tell us how in addition to our room charges happening to several people, our room key card would not allow us to enter our room. The guest in line behind us told us that it happened to them as well. As we exited the building the trash was overflowing, cereal was in the driveway, cigarette butts we scattered on the sidewalks and the entrance and there were pizza boxes sitting in front of the elevator for approximately 10 hrs. Management should schedule additional staff to accommodate the cleanliness, guest inquiries, and train them on how to de-escalate because the more he talked the angrier it made everyone!

We had to wait about 45min (at around 530pm) to check in due to the lack of available rooms regardless of our booking well in advance. Staff had to get caught up on cleaning/prep so I’m not sure if it was a lack of staffing or what the issue was. Dinner plans were delayed due to the check in. Pool was out of towels

Honestly the experience was not a great one the poor staff was BEYOND OVERWORKED working 16 hour shifts only 3 house keepers 1 maintenance person they were not able to get people checked in on time due to no rooms being ready. The hotel was NOT clean clearly because they have no staff to do so the floors , halls just looked awful. The starbucks coffee machine stopped working front desk was trying to run bar and front desk all by himself the snack bar barely had anything in it to purchase if we wanted to purchase it. Honestly I felt horrible for the employees getting yelled at. The room was clean I will at least say that . Overall very let down by a hyatt!

Exceeded expectations. Great hotel, easy to find, close to Pine Knob Amphitheatre. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Nice sitting area. The only thing that was a bit weird was the bathroom layout. The Shower/Toilet area was a bit cramped. Not a big deal at all. Definitely is my hotel of choice when attending concerts at Pine Knob or visiting Great Lakes Crossings Mall.

The room we stayed in was probably one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in with so much space. It had a separate sitting area the nice couch and desk area. There was a small sink by the coffee pot in addition to a spacious bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the warm pool water. The price to stay was very reasonable. The Great Lakes Crossing Mall is within minutes from the hotel. We plan on staying there every time we travel to Ford Field to see a Lions game.

The rooms are very nice. The breakfast is a joke. There were very few options and the few that were there were never refilled. At exactly 10 am someone appeared to shut everything down and give you dirty looks if you are still making your plate. It was a little extreme for a weekend. Towels in my room were dirty. Shower gel was empty and instead of having someone go up and refill it we were given a bottle to do it ourselves. Customer Service is definitely not a priority at this location.

The hotel was very clean. The front desk was very helpful. I especially liked the breakfast. It did not state in the description that it had a hot breakfast, but it did. They had eggs and potatoes (that were crispy and seasoned just right). They had waffles (that they made-you don't have to make them yourself) and fruit and a lot of great options for breakfast. I did not go in the pool but I saw many families that did and they all looked very happy.

I can't begin to express my disappointment with our stay. The person checking us in may have said 3 words to us during the entire check-in process and mumbled to himself most of the time. Breakfast was never fully stocked, I asked for syrup 2 of the 4 mornings. They had eggs one day and out all the rest. They had breakfast meat 1 day. They had coffee everyday and hot water for tea 1 day. My family never got enough to eat and we ended up going to breakfast. They never cleaned our room and we had to put the overflowing trash and used towels in the hallway and ask for more. Never was it mentioned that we had to call for room service for a 4 day stay. My poor assumption was they would know that 4 people can't use the same 4 towels for 4 days! My son stepped on a broken sewing needle in the room and I had to pull it out of his foot. The beds are a rock so if you like a firm mattress, this is the place for you. The pool was nice and clean as was the facility it's self.

It was nice, clean. Good location for our needs. Below rating for breakfast. Not good. We had to get something to eat when we left. Coffee was not good that was provided with breakfast. They did have a Starbucks counter to buy $5 coffee. That does not set well when breakfast should include good coffee.
