Please pay attention to your bill. They will charge you $35 a day for valet which i thought was free. I could park my own car. They need to mention these exploitation fee that we are not aware of. When I arrived I called the front desk to ask where do we park. She said go to valet so I went because I went to a many places with free valet especially in a downtown area. Only found out after checking out and checking my bank statements. Beware! I'm going to dispute these charges.

The hotel is lovely. It is an old bank, refurbished into a hotel. It has lots of gray, calm-toned, and wood decoration. Overlooks downtown Columbia on Main and Washington streets. The rooms are compact. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom has hot water. Coffee maker and mini-fridge in room. No microwave. This is my second review and this hotel needs to provide microwaves! Starbucks on the lower level and bar on upper level. If food and entertainment are important, check out food and entertainment in the area before booking. Lots of free and paid entertainment. Think Soda City on Saturdays, Columbia Museum of Art, State Museum, Children's museum, Richland County Public Library, First Thursdays on Main, Finlay Park on the weekends, ... Well-stocked workout gym with towels, water, mats, television, treadmills, etc,...It needs yoga blocks, a Pilates ball, and Pilates wheel. Bring your exercise program on your cellphone or device. Front desk employees are extra friendly and helpful. I booked during an extra busy weekend-Latin Festival. Valet parking was an additional $32 plus tips. It was quick. However, cheaper parking options were available in downtown garages if willing to walk. Picking up the vehicle from valet parking took at least 45 minutes. It took a lon-n-n-n-n-g time, but valet seemed busy. The supervisor was extra helpful. I would book again. Eat out or order in if you want hot dinner food. If you like to exercise, walk downtown or workout in hotel gym.
