The accomodation was true to description but perhaps could do with a little refresh. Our particular accomodation included an extra small annex. Car parking was on site. Breakfast was available at a sister hotel and was very good. All staff were friendly and helpful. Worth consideration.

Location was convenient, about 10-15 minutes walk to city center. If you have trouble with stairs do not stay here, no elevator. The rooms are very small, full size beds. The staff is nice.

This property does not have an elevator (lift) and has 3 floors (4 technically, the number the floors differently), so I suggest asking for a lower floor if you can’t do several flights of stairs daily. This property also do not have Air Conditioning. Otherwise, it was nice and simple.

Friendly desk staff. Although we reserved a space for parking for 1 night, and when we came to park the next desk person denied that we had made arrangements. She let us park after all,but it was inconvenient.

Room was right across from the check-in desk, so it was noisy, weirdly even quite late at night 2:30am /very early in the morning 4:30am. Carpet in the room was stained in several places and there was an empty whiskey bottle on the floor.

The property itself is fine. Our room had clean linens and the beds were comfortable. The room and especially the bathroom are tight for space....but for the price and old buildings in an old city... this was half expected. The Staff were friendly and attentive. Only complaint of Hotel upkeep itself was the carpets looked extremely worn..in need of replacement basically. This isn't a critique of Clifden Hotel right now....but more of Dublin in general. It's dirty. It has a homeless problem with litter and human "litter" ( if you get my hint) that comes with the homeless problem. I guess they'll need to address these social issues....like most big cities nowadays. Just sad to see what's happened over the past 20 years since I was last here.

Pretty good area, very walkable to most of the main parts of Dublin or a hop on hop off bus stop. Biggest problem is the extreme lack of room silence. You can pretty much hear every conversation anyone is having and it sounds like it's heavily raining when your neighbour has a shower. That usually wouldn't bother me too bad, but come 2am on my last night i got about half an hour of chatting and rolling suitcases up and down the halls. Twasnt Grand TBH

This will be the last time I book through Orbitz as this hovel was so small that I could touch both walls with outstretched arms, for which I paid a lot of money. The room was not only tiny, but stuffy as well and overlooked a busy street making an open window quite inconvenient.

We booked room for four people, so we got two-bedroom room but they were really narrow and not enough space. But we didn't spend a lot of time in a hotel so it was ok for night. What I really didn't like is narrow entry in a washroom right near bed in a master bedroom ( literally near my pillow). Now I know about night washroom schedule for all my family;)

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. We truly appreciated all of our interactions with him. The room was clean and tidy but very small and narrow- tight walking quarters. There was a lot of light from the hallway door as well as all the windows. Given the price, location, cleanliness, and service- it was overall worth the price and stay.

Lovely stay, staff were extremely helpful, both reception staff went out of their way to help me with my luggage and my baby. The young man on reception on check in was super friendly and creative and gave my boy an origami bird he had made, which he loved.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Staff went above and beyond to look after us; even giving us an early check in due to terrible flights. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is excellent. We would definitely recommend.

The staff here were so kind and even upgraded our rooms for free the night we stayed. Probably just Irish luck but it was so nice for the 6 of us in two rooms. Convenient and safe parking for being in the city of Dublin. Would highly recommend for those visiting! Be prepared for a bit of a walk though depending on the sites that you are seeing.

Beds took up must of the space in the room. No room to move around. Had to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs.no elevator. Receptionist didn’t inform us of paid parking in front of hotel. Got $135 ticket and a wheel locked (boot). And the street looked unsafe especially at night.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfectly convenient to walk to everything we wanted to do while in Dublin… and easy access for transportation to our things to do outside the city center. We found the staff to be very available and accommodating, and our rooms were comfortable. We did miss having a refrigerator available in our room, but remember this is not a hotel, it is a guest house. We would absolutely stay here again!

Hôtel d'un bon rapport qualité / prix vu son emplacement. 4ème étage sans ascenseur mais le hôte d'accueil, très sympa, nous a spontanément aidé à monter les valises. La chambre, le lit, la sdb sont corrects pour une nuit. Parking dans une cour privée Rue plutôt calme, à 15/20min de Temple Bar Petit dej dans un snacking à 2min au coin de la rue.

Nice staff, easy walkable area with great authentic places to eat nearby, tiny yet clean modern bathroom, surprisingly comfortable bed. Dublin hotels tend to be over-heated with no temperature control, but this one thankfully comfortable and window can be opened for fresh air. You can hear everyone talking in the stairwell, but I always bring my white noise machine with me and that made it better. Great brunch around the corner too.
