This hotel was perfect for our needs. We took a last minute road trip to see the Detroit Redwings game. We didn't want to stay downtown but needed a hotel that took our dogs. Front Desk was very welcoming of our family and didn't put us in a "pet" room. I appreciated this as sometimes the destinated pet rooms stink. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again with or without our dogs!

Was told at check in that breakfast was available until 11am. Was greeted by an attendant in the line asking if we paid for breakfast with our room. We assumed so by what was said at check in, but she checked and said we weren't qualified for free breakfast because we booked through expedia. So communication was lacking. Tub in shower was backed up, conditioner bottle in shower was empty. Did appreciate the shuttle service to a wedding nearby. Overall a 'meh' experience. Probably will book through Hilton directly next time.

Clean, affordarble, in a safe area. It's conveniently located off the highway. The staff are very friendly and helpful.Downtown Plymouth is beautiful and there are a lot of nice pubs and restaurants to choose from. The pool is very small and chilly.

While there is a microwave, coffee maker and coffee service and paper cups in the room, there is really nothing else. No utensils (plastic or otherwise), no glasses (even in the bathroom), and no tongs for the ice bucket. I was there for 3 nights in the same room on two separate reservations, and even though I discussed this with the front desk upon arrival, my room was never serviced.

I really wanted to like this place. It's close to our family in Northville and it's located right near M14, thus making it easy to buzz between A2 and Northville. However, I don't think we'll be going back. There was too much that just wasn't good enough. Here it goes: The breakfast cost a fortune for a hotel of this calibre. It was $15.99/adult. Also, in our post-Covid world, businesses are clinging to Covid-era no frills customer service models, even though it's time to return to a model of customer service mattering. We pay a lot to stay in these places, so why do we have to beg for towels and other basics? For example, this hotel doesn't provide housekeeping except "by request." When we requested the service, they didn't come. When they finally did show up the next day, they made the beds but didn't take away the dirty, wet towels we used the day before, and they didn't replenish soap or the coffee service. This was particularly annoying because the soap dispenser by the sink was filled with conditioner. Finally, these folks didn't bother cleaning up after the last guests who were in the room. There was still a plastic champagne flute under the bed when we arrived. I presume that if you went to Room 528 today, it's still there.

The shower appeared to be clogged, but when the maintenance came to check, it turned out there was no clog, rather the tub was not built at a slope so water passes slowly. Having the water pool up at my feet was not very comfortable.

We were there for a couple days for a fanily wedding. It was nice and convenient. The ceiling in the bathroom seemed a bit water damaged and mildewed, and the hot water went out one day and seemed to be an issue until we checked out at least. Overall the stay was nice but pricey considering the issues i thought.

We stayed one night, which was fine. The next morning we tried making coffee and the Keurig and it did not work. We could not get hot water for a shower. We waited and waited for the water to get warm and it never did. We had to take cold showers. When we checked out, we let reception know our problems and that is when we found out there was a plumbing problem. It would’ve been nice to be notified that we would not be getting a hot shower, so disappointing.

As I lie awake at 4 in the morning from a very uncomfortable bed extremely hard mattress I go to use the bathroom and the toilet does not flush very well and the bath ceilings are very low and peeling paint I cannot believe this is a three-star hotel this feels like a roadside Motel. The air conditioner is extremely loud and rattling. Do not stay here unless price goes below $100. this is a 6.

The slamming doors from the guest rooms really make it a challenge to sleep in this hotel. I don’t know if you can adjust the springs on them or not but they close with such force, it feels like the entire hotel shakes. I was woken up multiple times in the night by doors in our floor.

The people were amazing. The bed in our room squeaked and was old box spring and very hard to sleep on. Didn't sleep very well at all. The bathroom had know Hooks to hang your towel by the shower. It was a very big bathroom but had a very small sink and the toilet moved when you sat on it. Otherwise it was ok!

This is a nice hotel that looks newly redone. The employees were super nice. The room was nice. We picked the room w/a rain shower head. The shower is big and nice. Bed was comfortable. It's super cold right now so it was hard keeping the room warm enough but we were able to get it to a good temp after a few tries.

For the most part, this is a nice place to stay, clean, good front lobby amenities, friendly staff. Our biggest problem is the discomfort of the mattresses. We stayed there for a wedding and had two terrible nights' sleep. We didn't want to return to the same hotel for another wedding a few weeks later but, since the rest of the stay was good we decided to give it another chance....maybe a different room would bring a different experience. After the first night of sleep, we regretted our decision. The bed doesn't feel bad at first, but after tossing and turning and waking up completely sore all over, we won't be staying at this particular Hilton again. We've been to other locations and did not have the same problem. It's unfortunate because other than this it really is a nice place to stay and would otherwise recommend.

The hotel was quiet even though there seemed to be quite a bit of teens and young adults staying there. I slept really well. It was very close to beautiful and amazing downtown Plymouth. It was just what I needed.

What was unique? Well, I now know after hearing through the adjoining room door that a guy claiming to be 62 can do the horizontal mambo for 90 minutes straight. My Netflix show couldn't muffle the screams. Fairly unique.

I called the day before I arrived to see if I could check in early the day if arrival. I was told to call around 10 a.m. and they would tell me if that was possible. I called at 10 a.m. and was told they had a very heavy check in overnight and to call back at 12. I called at 12 and was told they were busy accommodating the early requests they had at 10 a.m. After driving for 8 hours that was really frustrating as I had not even been offered a spot in the 10 a.m. line for early check in. When I finally got checked in, my room was clean and tidy but quite obviously a redone Best Western. Actually I stayed at a Best Western in Gettysburg that was nicer. So yep, probably never going to stay there again.

The staff was great and the location was very accessible to Plymouth, Canton, Northville, Ann Arbor and surrounding areas. The hotel was very clean as well. A few negatives were that the pillow were very sad and tired. Time to replace them. The room needed a blackout curtain. Lastly, our room smelled musty and damp. Not sure of the reason.

The Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth, MI is a nice hotel that gives you exactly what you want in this price point, good service, quality rooms, and are responsive. I was in the area for meetings and the location was also very easy to access and good for meetings in the western suburbs of Detroit.

Clean and comfortable room. Disappointed that there were no coffees or accessories for coffee in the room. Had to get some each day from front desk. Asked for towels and also needed to retrieve them ourselves from the front desk. Restaurant is really poor quality and service. Go out to eat or order Door Dash.

The beds were horrible. We waited over 10 minutes to get food at the buffet after we were told it would be 3 minutes. We paid for it and had to leave without eating because it took so long. The chairs in the dining room were falling apart I thought I was going to go through the bottom of mine. Very disappointed.

2 of the 4 pillows had fresh blood on them. The toilet made a loud sound every 15 minutes. I was surprised to find-out that unlike other Garden Inn properties, the breakfast was not included in the room rate and was an additional $16 pp.
