The hotel lobby was beautiful and the staff were very kind. The restaurant had great food! The room was decent, clean but a little run down. The pool was way too cold and closed for maintenance for half of one day which was very disappointing as the indoor pool was the primary reason we booked this hotel. The shower temperature was also very unpredictable. I took 4 showers while there and only one was hot.

Nearest parking 100 yds then find-out I need to go back to the car to put in a hotel permit, then when checking-out find-out $20 parking fee added to my room. No advance message that breakfast would not be served at 6 AM on Sunday Morning rather at 7 AM, 30 minutes after the scheduled start of my offsite meeting. My wake-up call request was ignored. My room had the appearance of a storage room, all grey, minimal furnishings. TV system not explained. $400+ room rate....ridiculous.

Facility easy to find and consistent with Embassy Suites facility EXCEPT there was no jacuzzi and the $20 for outside self parking was pretty sad. The $15 a day allocated for bonus did not work out as gift shop closed when we wanted to use it.

The balcony had an amazing view. Great location and the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. The breakfast options were great and I appreciated the variety and healthy options. The gym was pretty basic but I could always get on the equipment I needed

Room was very good as well as the service team. The overall problem is we have a small family and the elevators being out of order created a nightmare. Hopefully the repairs can be done faster and more effecient. Waiting times for elevators was not acceptable

They had all 3 rooms on 2nd floor backing to the busy street, extremely noisy from the traffic especially from the motorcyclist besides one of the rooms was also facing the elevator. One horrible thing was one room had 4" by 5" big torn bole on the bed sheet, got a picture for that.

We will never stay at this Embassy Suites again. For the price paid, you would expect that the rooms and public areas would be clean, the elevators would work, the stairwells would be clean, and the appliances in the room would work. When we checked in, we walked into our room and found Cheetoh crumbs all over the sofa and mold growing in the shower. The room also had an iron that was broken and could not stand up. Definitely a fire hazard. My daughter and her family were in a separate room. Their refrigerator was leaking water all over the floor (my granddaughter slipped and fell) and their iron didn't work at all. The public seating area for breakfast was filthy. There was apparently no one to clean up any tables. And there were multiple chairs with large stains, many of the stains appeared to be rather new. Only two of the three elevators in the building worked. And these had large temporary signs indicating that there should be no more than six people per elevator. There are twelve floors in the building, with at least twenty rooms per floor. As we were on a lower floor, almost every time we wanted to go down the elevator, by the time it got to our floor, it was full. Instead of waiting ten minutes or more, we chose to take the stairs, which were also dirty, needed paint, and appeared to be neglected. I wish someone had written this review before we went, as I could have saved our time and money and found a much better place to stay.

Rooms were outdated and pretty dirty. Sofa and floor had very obvious stains all over them. There was syrup spilled onto the floor and left which we stepped in and smelled the entire time. Had kids with us and they had to sleep on a super old rickety fold out couch. It was a rough couple nights.

Room wasn’t that clean. Hairs were on the bathroom floor and in the corners, bathroom sink had a pinkish-brownish scum ring which indicates it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. Bathtub also had soap scum including the bathtub faucet. Food crumbs were on the ottoman in the living area, and overall, the room looked like it had seen better days. Bedding was clean but looked kind of worn. Mattress and pillows were comfortable though. Way overpriced for the disappointing quality. Would not return.

Nice hotel to stay at when you're working at Laguna Seca. It's right off the road that heads to the track. The breakfast is excellent, especially the made-to-order omelets. We also appreciated the large lobby area for our debriefing meetings. The evening happy hour was a great way to end the day and prep for dinner. The rooms are large and comfortable. Only problem I had was the HVAC didn't seem to be working, as the temperature was the same no matter I set the thermostat to.

Property was nice but super loud at night if you have an ocean view room. You can hear cars all night with loud exhausts with windows closed. And you can’t leave a window or slider open due to noise outside being so loud with all the traffic.

Friendly staff, however room was warm, unable to adjust AC to 68 from a steady 74, no matter how many times we tried to cool the room, temp revert back to 74/75, requested service check, Engineer came, stated he adjusted AC, however only decreased to 73, also sorry to say the in room coffee was not good.

The room was very nice and very spacious with extra areas for sitting. The breakfast was wonderful, good variety and cooked to order. The pool was nice. Very good area around the hotel. You did have to pay for parking but they gave you $15 each day in the gift shop or restaurant which was very nice. Only thing was the cushions in the eating area need to be cleaned or replaced, they were dirty, some of them.

Nothing felt welcoming about this establishment. Right at check in the attitude of the staff at the front desk was very much like I was bothering them, when they had no other customers to attend. There was two young women there behind the front desk doing nothing. There was none of the welcome greetings, or small talk that concierge usually does to make you feel comfortable. She asked for my credit card and name, gave me my key and told me the elevator was behind me. That was all, didn't give me any directions to my room, info on the amenities or food services, I had to ask. When I did I would out there there was actually a drink service going on for another hour at the time of my arrival. Had I not asked I wouldnt have known. When we got to our room to sleep. We looked for blankets for the sofabed for about 5 minutes, I thought I was the one who couldnt find them, because all hotels leave in some extra blankets in the closets somewhere. There was nothing. I call the front desk, and it's a robot. Great! Now I ask the robot for blankets and wait. A staff member comes up to my room with one blanket. I need at least two so I can put one covering the mattress. So he leaves to go get me another one, that's another 10 min wait. In the morning we go down to have breakfast and there's the same attitude of the staff that is sort of surveiling and watching you eat. Food was bland. I liked the welcome sign on the TV as you come in to your room, that's a nice touch.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Service was impeccable, minor issue with our AC and a maintenance tech was sent to our room within seconds. Breakfast is delicious and made to order, two of the servers were especially kind and attentive- Reggie and Lilian (?). Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations for our family!

There were only 2 elevators for the entire hotel!! Others were all broken! We were stuck on the 6th floor for over 1 hour with our cart loaded with all of our stuff and our kids stuff. Everytime it cane it was so packed with people we could not get on! There were so many other people complaining of the sane thing! The women at the front desk didnt care at all and had MAJOR ATTITUDE PROBLEMS! We will never ever stay here again for 750.00 for 1 night and being treated like garbage. Horribke customer service. I think i should have gotten a discount for sure! I am an IHG member as well and this was the worst stay we have ever had! We paid for a 2 room king suite and the balcony door could barely open, the thermostat was broken and it took us almost 2 hours just to be able to get downstairs to check out! 2 towels in the room for a 4 person room, no blankets for the pull out couch so i had to do alot myself just to make us comfortable. Like i said i paid over 700.00 for 1 night! unexceptable!!

The breakfast and nightly reception were so nice. Kids loved the pool and the pokemon convention that they stumbled upon. Staff was helpful and attentive. The hotel keeps an text chat with you so you can ask questions, extend stay or check out all by text. Can't wait to go back.

I booked a room for 8/5/2025. Check in was 3pm I arrived at 9:45 pm because of a tire blow out! Once I get checked in I am told by the front desk lady that I have a $15 credit to be used before 10pm at there snack shop. Me and my girlfriend walk over to the snack shop and we grab and ice cream and we are instantly met with attitude by the woman working the cashier named Loraine! She tells me we can’t get the ice cream because we are not checked in. I ask her to call the front desk because we just checked in as I show her my room key card. She tells me she is not going to call the front desk and that I “better” get out of her line and go figure it out. At this point I am lost for words and confused where all of her animosity is coming from. She starts to shake and get so angry and starts telling me “ you don’t know how it feels to work a job” and all of these other random things! Mind you I am here on vacation after working an 18 hour shift the night before! At this point I walk away from her and back to the front desk lady! The front desk lady apologized to me and said she did not click check in and that we should be good to get the ice cream now. So I walk back over to the snack shop I tell Loraine my room number and it still doesn’t work, which made her even more mad. At this point she grabs the cashier monitor and slams in down! Me and my girlfriend both are so confused as why she is so angry with us she then goes to tell me

Loved the location of the hotel. The beach was less than 8 minutes away (walking). It as was also only a 10 minute drive over to the aquarium. Great location and the breakfast was pretty good as well! No complaints here.

this Emb suites is gorgeous! centrally located and ONLY 4-5 blocks from a beautiful beach behind the Monterey Beach Hotel!!! close to everything, nice clean rooms w views and some with Balconies too! Ohhhh myyy the Shower water pressure is FABBBBBB! ;-)

Decent place but for the money, the egg slop and pork sausage was basically inedible prison food. Dogs would not eat it. Fortunately I’m not a big breakfast person but other Embassy Suites I’ve stayed at prepare fresh omelettes. It’s not that hard.

In a previous review I complained about a low quality breakfast. I can’t see a way to modify that review so here to report that on my last stay they were making custom omelettes. Very pleased with this hotel now. I must have gone to breakfast late last time.
