The customer service representatives were great, no attitude, and friendly. Our room coffee maker was missing the tray to put the coffee in, and the smoke detector was removed and wires were exposed on the wall. The cleaning service on Sunday morning around 5am was very loud in the hall and kept waking us up. Our key on Sunday was also deactivated even though our booking was through Monday. The Gym has very odd opening hours at 9am which is really late comparatively.

Overall at a nice stay only issues was the air conditioner kept making a clanking noise at night, and when we came back after dinner there were NO parking spots left very small parking lot. But overall very nice!

They overbooked us and we got a much smaller room. There were working on construction of the building so there was no space to park on property. Large fans were trying to dry out moisture on the 3rd floor with some scent added to mask the smell. You could smell it through out the whole place. Elevator was slow going up and noisy.

We have stayed here before when visiting relatives. There was construction going on, new roof, pool closed as there were nails in it from the construction. It probably would have been wise to close the hotel during this work. Told me they had a water pipe break the day before. Told me to let the water run for a bit as it had been fixed, I thought they meant let the water run to get the air out of the lines. I turned on the water and started washing my hands and looked down and brown gross water was coming out on my hands. They should have been handling out bottled water. I went to ask for some and they only had 2 small bottles and charged me for them. It was hotter than hell and our ac wouldn't go below 73, if it did it got a error code. When I contacted the lady at the desk she said it's because it's so hot and it's the same in all rooms. I don't know about that but I think she just didn't want to change our room. We don't expect much, but just about everything was wrong. Kids running up and down the hallways and a dog barking all night in the room across from us. I have also stayed at the BW next door and honestly this hotel has always been better than the BW. I know this was not the normal circumstances at this facility but I can't believe I paid a dime to stay here on 8/10-8/12..

When I was leaving, I saw why the property is always so clean and carefully manicured. There were several people just "doing their jobs" --- the lawn guy blowing off the grounds, the manager cleaning the window seals, the (who I think is the owner) cleaning the rooms. Such a nice place

The front desk night receptionist was amazing, very friendly. Great location for restaurants and stores. The parking lot was horrible, working on something that took majority of the parking lot and a lot of hotel guests had to park at the Waffle House half of the parking (which was in the same parking lot) and walk to hotel.

My check in process was great, we were delayed by weather while traveling and required a 1:30am check in. They were very accommodating in this. They are pet friendly and even provide waste bags and disposal can at the walking area by pool. Our dog and us were very comfortable during our stay. The staff are very friendly. Only disappointment was the gym was not open for our stay. Having a gym was part of the deciding factor for choosing our stay here. The rooms are well insulated and little noise from neighboring rooms, except for the ceiling where I suspect a young child was staying above us during our last night. The rooms were clean, and our do not disturb was respected. Highly recommend, just advise calling ahead to make sure amenities are functioning.

Over my 3 day stay, I killed 4 cockroaches in my room. Staff told me it was because of humidity and rain that roaches found their way to my room but I don’t have this problem at my house nor at previous stays at this hotel, but I wasn’t able to sleep watching for the freaking roaches and so I couldn’t be happier to be home. Maybe it was a fluke because I’ve stayed there few times before and 0% problems but this was a Stephen King 3 days for me this stay. Normally a perfect hotel to stay in, but like I said no sleep because of the roaches and a total nightmare watching room at night with most of the lights on. Now at home, I plan to sleep for 2 days to catch up. Please go back to previous bug exterminator or whatever changed, because I rethinking next months 2 day stay at your location, LaQuinta Inn in Walker, LA.

When we walked into our room the headboard had gross sticky handprints all over it. We immediately went to buy Lysol wipes to clean the room ourselves, because the hotel staff clearly isn’t doing it. On the second night we got in late and the desk worker was laying down in the eating area. Unfortunately we had to wake her up to pay for some water. So between the gross rooms and the staff sleeping, we absolutely will not be back.

The tub didn’t drain properly when showering. The sheet that covered the box mattress was disgustingly stained. The window didn’t open- so fresh air was out of the question. The breakfast wasn’t great and the WiFi on the tv didn’t work for Netflix. First and last time staying at a La Quinta. The positives were: the bed was comfy, the ac/fan worked beautifully, the surrounding area was convenient, and the parking was free! You get what you pay for.

How's keeping did not replace any towels? Soap shampoo or clean the room. All they did was make the bed, that was it. They took out the dirty towels and did not replace him within it. I deliberately put something on the floor and it was still there Saturday evening when I got back. Trash cans were not empty either

The first room we were in the air conditioning did not work but they moved us to a new room. We were on the bottom floor so it was a loud with the kids running upstairs late into the night. I reported it but it did not stop till 2:00 in the morning. We found old food in the drawer of the first room and the floors could have been cleaner than they were. Over all we made it work and enjoyed the pool.

I was displeased do to the fact that I reserved a superior king sweet which has a garden tub/hot tub in it. When I got into my room, I realized there was no big tub. So when I went to talk to the front desk the lady was very rude! Telling me they have no rooms like that and they couldn’t refund my money or change my room with a very snotty and rude attitude. Then her attitude completely changed when I showed her proof of my reservation and what I was suppose to receive. So she called her manager and at first the manager was rude as … too. Basicly saying take it or leave it kind of attitude literally! They said the only thing they can do was refund my money to my card which would take me 7-10 days b4 it was back on my card and I would have to go somewhere else! So there fore I will not ever recommend there hotel or stay there again!

The property was right off the exit. It was convenient, near other amenities like gas and food. It smelled fresh upon entry and seemed to be clean. The sheets seemed to be clean but they had spots on them which were questionable. So they should invest in new sheets. The breakfast was ok nothing excitable. Also it seemed that once it was bed time, there was a lot of noise happening. Either doors slamming, someone working on something, children running Idk. But very irritating and on first floor near checkin so im sure they heard it too but nothing was done about because it went on too long.

Clean rooms, rather new looking. Breakfast was not as good as others on our trip. At 7:15 they were nearly out. Front desk was staffing it and guests had to ask for more.

Easy check in. Greated by a friendly face with a nice chat about the mural behind the counter. Room was nice especially because the bathroom had a fan for ventilation and antifog mirror which was very nice after showering!! Breakfast options included waffles. Overall recommend a stay here.

The photos on the website do not accurately represent the current condition of this hotel. The hallways were dim, the room felt dated, and the bed was very firm with flat pillows. The bathroom showed several obvious, half-hearted repairs, including flaking drywall, cracked tile, and deteriorating caulk. Breakfast was the most disappointing part of the stay. There was no orange juice, no hot food options beyond oatmeal, and the only choices were mini muffins, a few pastries, and dry cereal with milk. On the positive side, the location was excellent with plenty to do nearby, the area felt safe, the staff was friendly, and the price was fair for the area. However, due to the condition of the property and the poor breakfast experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
