Breakfast is always Wonderful here but parking is BAD, the stocking of pool towels are never stocked and Heat wasnt even on in the pool area. It was cold and weather was cold outside! Tubs clogged up. Walls floors looking dirty

We stay here often when in the area. They have great breakfast options, the change a little every day. Pool is a little small but do able. Small laundry room, you need quarters for this but the hotel doesn’t have them. Room was good. Staff were great. There was a parking issue late one night but nothing the hotel can really do about that.

Would havev give it five stars, but there is no security in parking lot, the night staff dose not pay attention to the parking lot, my turck and the car next to me got broken into. My alarm was going off and they didn't even know anything was going on, also the wifi is not that good.

I enjoyed the convince of the hotel's location in correlation to many places i visted during my stay and the staff was diligent in helping with small issues as well as cleaning the rooms daily. What I didn't enjoy during my stay was the room being consistently damp, the constant smell of mildew, many stains on the floor and the toilet seat being ridiculously too small. Overall, I give this place three stars and would stay again if everywhere else is above my budget.

The room was put together with very poor workmanship. USB and bathroom fan did not work, floor had gaps, bathroom fixtures were not secure, and the entrance door needed to be lifted to be locked. Very poor workmanship.

9 out of 10. Only issue was our room was located close to highway. Dallas traffic never rests! So highway noise was an annoying. Also AC unit had a could weird sounds when cycling. All in All would stay here again. Would just make sure room was on the opposite end of the building,

I like everything in this hotel, service, cleanliness, staff, etc, except the freeway noise. The hotel is located right next to highway 635 and the windows are not tight enough. It was hard to fall asleep with this noise and it woke me up early in the morning.

Exceptional staff, especially the front desk. This is the reason for 4-star rating. The room has a stuffy smell, as if they weren’t opened in years. This is not a minor inconvenience, but may become a matter of hearth. Surprisingly this is a pretty easy fix - just let the air circulate, and use some air freshener products: not sure why they haven’t considered this. I stayed here for proximity to a 3-day workshop. Other than that, pretty good - you get what you pay for.

We are usually very happy with Holiday Inn Express. However, this was a different story! First, we chose a room with a sleeper couch for our kids and were only allowed two additional pillows (told that was “hotel policy?). Second, we didn’t have our room cleaned the first day, but called while we were out and asked for clean towels. We were told that we would have to stop by the front desk upon our return. When we returned (at 9pm) we asked for clean towels. We were told that we would have to bring down our dirty towels first (what?!?). Third, on our third day, my husband asked for an omelet at the breakfast buffet (they had run out). It was was 9:48am, and was told that because it takes 10 minutes to make an omelet, she would not make an additional omelet. Fourth, I used the gym and found a moldy ceiling tile that was leaking and causing a gross wet spot on the floor. When asked how my stay was going, by the front desk attendant, I shared my concerns. She did offer apologies and gave me a free drink out of the cooler. A general lack of hospitality is a sad commentary on a hotel, but that’s what we experienced.

Best place to stay in Mesquite! Check in with Jason, was greeted with a smile and checked in efficiently. Nick is always going above and beyond to accommodate guests. Sonia in the breakfast room is so sweet. She is constantly tending to offerings and greets the guests with a smile and makes conversation. Staying there is like staying with family. New Windows are awesome!

Overall, the place and food are good. It was our check in that is terrible. The staff working that night was not welcoming. Initially, he told us to wait as her colleague is coming but never came and he did check us in, but only gave us 1 key card, never gave us instructions where the elevator is (we were always instructed where the elevator or where to go), never mentioned about wifi password, never mentioned when ia the breakfast (which is a common information given upon check-in). He was in a hurry and the facial expression is not friendly at all and doesn't seem to like that we are checking in at that time. It was 11pm but were on the road looking for place to stay. We have been checking in late in some hotels but never had this experience.

Did not have my room on the books and I even had a email showing I booked. Had to go down the road and get another Hotel. Then a hour later the Holiday inn called and said they found our reservation. It was too late and I had already found another.

The hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly and polite. The food service was excellent...very clean and kept replenished with fresh food. Our room was clean and comfortable. Not a lot of traffic noise or noise from other guests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was very comfortable! The room was as we requested and very clean. Even though there were several competitions in the area and the hotel was fully booked, there was no noise at all. The staff from the front desk to maid service was very friendly and helpful! We used the pool/hot tub and found it clean and very relaxing. And the hot breakfast was very satisfying with cheese omelets, buscuits & sausage gravy, fried potatoes, link & patty sausage, make your own pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, cinnamon rolls and fruit danish. The only reason we couldn't give the best possible rating is because our TV remote didn't work well. They replaced the batteries which helped some but still didn't totally solve the problem. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
