SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Mesquite

The room appeared generally clean, but one of the hand towels looked very dirty. There was also a strong odor in the room. I’m not sure if another guest nearby was vaping or if the smell was coming from somewhere else, but it made the air difficult to breathe. We had to turn the air conditioning on high and keep the bathroom exhaust fan running all night. I even placed towels under the main door to try to block the smell because it was so strong. The odor gave me a headache, upset my stomach, and made me feel dizzy throughout the night. As a result, it was very difficult to sleep.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy, checkout was easy. Those were the good things. The not so good things ….. the hotel is pretty dated; the TV remote was confusing; TV wasn’t very big; the breakfast was pretty bad. The coffee was very watered down, not much was left to eat for the breakfast at 8:30 am. It was very disappointing. The staff is friendly enough. I would probably not go back again.
