Comfort Inn & Suites Balch Springs - SE Dallas

The hotel is in a very good location for access to the highway to travel from, but it's also just far enough away from the highway that traffic noise is not a problem at night while you are trying to sleep. The parking lot can fill up fast, sometimes with several big trucks and heavy equipment from mechanical crews. So, get there and get parked early. The room itself was comfortable but did have a little bit of a moldy smell that may have been coming from the AC unit. I have stayed at this location in the past and will stay there again as its close to a training facility I frequent for work. For the few days I need a space, the price and amenities work well for me.

The problem we experienced was related to a staff at check out. The male staff repeatedly insulted us. The staff stated that "we are unreasonable to make that comment". We requested for our deposit, and he said they will have to check later. And we said we hope nothing changed. That was the unreasonable comment.

Staff was friendly, Room was clean and breakfast had a variety of options.
