La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Mesquite

The parking lot is covered in nails, the hot tub is covered with ply wood and is definitely a hazard, the gym is full of trash and is not accessible, breakfast was scrambled eggs and waffles, there is very noticeable damage to walls and door ways throughout the hotel, the floors are uneven,the elevator buttons are hit or miss, there is so much more. We paid $67 a night so you definitely get what you pay for.

No pool. No fitness center. This place needs to let the public know it’s under renovation and no amenities are available. It’s very dirty and dusty from the construction work. Breakfast is literally bread and coffee smells terrible. Smoke smells all throughout the property. One thing I will say it was, was quiet. I was able to rest well. However not as advertised.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures it has on their website. The pool is closed due to renovation. The highways look so hideous and gross. Hallway window is broken and there’s just a huge board at the window hiding the gigantic hole. The room keys didn’t work I had to keep going down to get them reactivated. My son got stuck in their elevator. When I said something to the front desk worker he got upset. The breakfast was decent just eggs and waffles. The furniture in the lobby was so stained. They have signs all around that says sorry for your inconvenience but we’re renovating. This place needs to close down until the renovation is completely finished.

The frigde didn't work and it is under remodeling so the pool was close and the gym too

We were not told when booking the hotel is under going a renovation. The pool and workout room were closed. The water pipes had air in them. The ac unit was very loud. The key cards for the door wouldn’t work. Each time we had to go back to the front desk to obtain new ones. The carpet in the hallways and elevator were dirty.

The property is undergoing renovation, the hallways and lobby are unclean, with no attempt by motel or contractor to sweep or vacuum. The outside of the property had trash and debris around the building and in the parking lot, with no attempt to keep neat. We thought the room looked acceptable until we looked at the bottom of our feet, and they were black from dirt. The pool was not available, nor anyplace to sit for a very limited breakfast, with signs saying breakfast cannot be taken back to rooms. I was also charged $30.00 for arriving before 3pm to check in.

Overpowering fragrance throughout hotel. I dont know what smell they are trying to cover up but i got an instant headache the minute i walked into the lobby that didn't go away until i left. They advertise a gym and indoor hot tub but gym was closed with no eta of opening and hot tub had plywood over it. The indoor hot tub was the main reason i chose this hotel. They advertise breakfast from 0600 until 0900 but the staff told me breakfast isn't until 0700 and i had to leave by 0630. I selected an upgrade to a suite but they gave me a regular room and said since i went through a 3rd party to book the room there was nothing that could be done. I have always stayed at LaQuintas but this one isn't like the others. .

Staff was very friendly. The Hotel is in a great area. The hotel is going through some renovations so the gym was not available. The pool was good just freezing so needs a lil work to regulate the water temperature. But other than that it was great.

This hotel is disgusting. Dirt, dust, grime, and random stains everywhere. Smells like mildew. Carpets are filthy.

It was horrible. We found 6 cockroaches in our room and didn’t stay.

The room was disgusting. They say they are remodeling but the room smelled moldy, the bath tub was in the main room, ripped base boards, you couldn’t pay me enough to stay there.

The bed linens were still wet, bathroom and carpet were dirty. Matress had stains. Hallway was dirty and had bad smell.

Dirty. My whole team moved hotels. Cockroaches everywhere and mold!

Rooms were rusty,dirty, full of roaches and bed bugs will not stay at another of this named hotel, I am a paramedic traveling, this was a huge inconvenience Jay Masur MED-Star Ambulance inc.

The hotel was under construction. The rooms were dirty, roaches in the room, TV to work, and when you called to the front desk, nobody was there. has a look like a tornado at the building pieces of brick missing windows busted open

Black mold all over our room!! Back side of curtains covered in mold… window sills and window frames also covered in black mold… bathroom ceiling had black mold… light fixture button was broken off so no way to turn it on… turned on the heater and it had a HORRIBLE smell… the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had in my 50 years of life! I will be contacting corporate with my photos!

The room was dirty especially around the couch. There was trash everywhere outside the facility. There was unfinished construction to remove the jacuzzi. We had a family suite but no sheets or pillows for our two boys were provided. Unlike the other La Quinta's I have stayed in in the past.

There were roaches, no hot water none of the 3 days I was there. Smelt horrible and when we first got there there were 3-4 mouse traps sitting on top of the air conditioner (not welcoming or cute). Housekeepers sucked, they didn’t make up the bed or take trash out they only picked up towels and didn’t replace them, we had to go get our own clean towels!

The only negative experience ... there were no rod or hangers in the closets, two iut of 4 lamps did not work so you were in almost in the dark and most of the electrical outlets did not work.

I booked this hotel at short notice so arrived about 4:30pm. There was cold, 11am coffee in the lobby... a baby that cried for hours across the hall from me... and I did not sleep well because the a/c vent in the my room made rattling noises. I totally understand the hotel is under renovation but they need to INFORM THEIR CUSTOMERS! This is my first time I was not happy with my stay and very disappointed that their breakfast hours start at 7am everyday... even on a Sunday!

missing smoke detector, broken room phone, moldy ceiling, dirty elevator, stained curtains, old tiny TV -- but signs all over the entrance doors that they had "newly remodeled rooms"

This property is under construction, a remodel. The elevator is roughed up, the hallways are rough, the key card was a struggle. Once inside the room it was nice, but not fully finished. The bed was very firm. Like brand new extra firm mattress.

Hotel is conveniently located near everything. Location is being remodeled, so when we arrived we weren’t sure if the hotel was open. Staff was friendly. Rooms are a bit dated but was priced accordingly.

Only ceiling light was in hallway. Out of the 4 lamps only 3 worked so it was a little dark the hole visit.

The room was spacious. The living room area was clean, however the rug was old and stained and the furniture was stained and in places torn and very old. The bathroom was clean. The bedroom portion was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The sheets were crisp and clean. Overall, it was an ok room. Needs to be updated and the carpet really cleaned.

I would rate this hotel barely 1 star. One of the main reasons is the $100 charge on my credit card for "incidentals," despite not having any during our one-night stay. I have tried calling the front desk multiple times to dispute this charge, but no one answers. Additionally, the hotel is very rundown and outdated. I am extremely disappointed with the entire experience. The only positive aspect was the friendly gentleman at the front desk. Other than that, I have nothing good to say about this hotel.

The Wyndham name should not be associated with this property. They have spruced up to lobby, but when you step off the elevator on 2nd floor, you realize your not in a quality hotel. It’s New Year’s Eve and my plans are to stay in room. TV remote doesn’t work. So no channel changing capability. Called front desk, and after 6 or 7 minutes of non stop ringing the desk jockey picked up the phone. I explained the problem to him and he said all I had to do was push 12 and go to the guide. I said the remote doesn’t work. Once again he said all you have to do is push 12 for the guide. I told him the problem was that remote Doesn’t Work. He recommended I contact maintenance tomorrow during business hours. Not to worry, I’m out of this heap first thing tomorrow. Got a Rez at A Hilton property for 12 bucks more a night. See ya Wyndam

My stay??? I didn't bc the heat didn't work in the room... They was completely booked so I had to go somewhere else. And they still charged me for a night... I called several times and left several messages for the manager. No calls back and never got my money back... I even called their customer service and they couldn't do anything... You guys should take them off your app bc I almost chose another app to make my reservations...

Amazing, David And Manuel great service, Rosa excellent service, friendly, kept everything clean, room service kept everything clean, and made sure we were comfortable! We do thank you all for you love and kindness.♥️♥️♥️

The employees were very nice and helpful.

Hotel room was ok however the hotel room overall was dirty and smelled bad. I will not stay there again. Also the hotel charged me $100.00 deposit. Which now I have to wait for a refund on that. Whenever I travel which is often I usually provide a credit card in case of extras but no one charges up front. Like this property very; poor business practice. They get 1 star from me

Convenient location

The property was walkable and convenient to Walmart, local restaurants/stores like Wendy’s, Waffle House, McDonald’s, Dennys, and a Taco restaurant. When I arrived, there was plastic hanging from the ceiling due to onsite renovations which hid the check in area. You literally had to go behind the plastic to check in at the snap check in desk. I was granted early check in for a fee and had no issues getting the room I reserved. The room was decent but I didn’t have a blow dryer in the bathroom which I always check for being that hotels usually get cold and as an anemic I use the blowers as a heater. My phone didn’t work the whole stay due to the renovations and I had to go down stairs for every request needed which was super inconvenient for me a person with disabilities. The room says it sleeps 5 and doesn’t come with extra blankets so again I had to go back downstairs to request one and was told I had to wait until after 4pm when housekeeping was done with all the rooms. Hair was hanging from my room curtains from previous stay. They only provided 1 tiny bar of Dove soap and I mean tiny but atleast it’s Dove 1 tiny bottle of shampoo, conditioner, 1 makeup remover wipe, and 1 body wash which wasn’t enough for my party and stay so again I had to go downstairs. The closets (2) in the room were tiny and didn’t have no hanging option (hang bar or hangers) just a stained ironing board and iron which I didn’t use. The king size suites bedroom door did not close due to the layout.

We found two roaches in our room during the night and breakfast was advertised for 5am and we were told it wouldn't be available until 7. We had to be at work by 7 so that was disappointing

We stood at the counter 15min before getting assistance, the overall look was very outdated, the sheets where dingy white with no comforter just 4 sheets on the bed, breakfast was an epic fail so I just ended up drinking coffee, we went out for a few hours and returned about 3:00pm and our room had not been serviced so when housekeeping finally did come I just asked for clean towels and I gave her the used ones.

The hotel was under renovation when we stayed. The reason we stayed there was the pool (it wasnt open they where redoing the hot tub) breakfast (they barley had anything available only coffee, muffins and nothing diabetic friendly) and close to family (I should have just stayed with them)! The room wasn’t cleaned (dirty rags, dead roaches in the bathroom the water dripped the whole time). The beds were older and not very well comfortable. My major issue is that there was a spring on the pull out bed couch and it hurt my daughter’s arm. I reported it and they didn’t even do anything.

I did like we had to ask for towels more then once , there was closet with no rod to hang clothes. The breakfast was ok the coffee was cold.

They are renovating so I understand the construction but when the TV don't work in the room the bathroom door don't close and the hot water is cold water and you ask for another room and they don't transfer to another room now you have a problem breakfast eggs only everyday know me ever I've been there several case this is not my first step they blame it on the renovation that's a lie they're only certain eggs and call it a breakfast.
