Easy to find, staff was super helpful and friendly. The dry sauna is nice and hot! Rooms are comfy and clean. Nice tea and coffee bar in the lobby. Beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a slightly older building so a bit run down but it was quaint and neat to have real keys for the room.

Lovely hotel. The only disappointment was miscommunication (laziness?) over the sauna. When we asked to use the sauna, we were told to wait 15 minutes as someone else was using it (they didn’t check). 30 minutes later, went to the desk again and it turns out the sauna was empty the whole time. Also didn’t realize house keeping was once every 3 days. But fabulous location, lovely lounge and seating, clean rooms and complementary drinks.

The front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The reception area is beautiful... mountain views. Our room was not great. Beds were clean and comfy but the room had an "old hotel" smell.. the carpets are not onlt very old and disgusting, but tgey were clearly very dirty... didn't look like they were vacuumed. There was dust on the side table lights. Bathroom was clean enough but very old and in need of a renovation, as did the whole room. The bathroom tap os broken... falls right off as you lift it. As i was soaking in the bathtub I could see black mold on the underside of things. We wont stay there again.

Perfect place to stay, the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The lobby and common area is beautiful and the hotel in general is very clean and well kept. It’s beautiful and you won’t regret it. Definitely will stay here the next time I come back

The room was spotless, beds were very comfortable, and the mountain view in the day and Christmas lights at night were spectacular. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk even called our room to check if everything was working and if we need anything else.

The room itself was genuinely great - clean and comfortable. The bed was insanely comfortable. Everything was super clean. The room was quiet. Also, major points for a balcony (with a solid view) AND a fireplace. That was a really nice treat. Honestly everything about the room, location and hotel itself was basically perfect. Then why only 4 stars? Check in was a bit messy. The host was incredibly polite and nice, and I don't fault them at all. But my check in was delayed. I was hoping to check in a half hour early, but was told that wasn't possible. When I came back at 4:00 (check in time), my room was still not ready. I only waited maybe 14 minutes, so not really a huge deal. That said, every other aspect of my two day stay was 5 star. Would likely stay here again.

Great location (10min walk to downtown), neat and clean, easy and free parking. Be aware that the balcony room with mountain views overlooks the busy main road, so you can't really leave the balcony door open for noise/privacy reasons. The bed was too soft for our personal liking... Slept on the floor for 2 nights.

Mountain views were great. Place was clean. Room was good. Beautiful lobby. The train kept my other guest up during the and it passes frequently. The fireplace was one of the highlight i was looking forward to and it didn't work. We switched rooms and it still didn't. Staff were very helpful and provided good suggestions about resturants etc.

Our stay at the Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn was very nice. The facility is older but very well kept. The staff were super nice and helpful from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The breakfast bags were great! There were 4 of us and we got 2 each day and had plenty for breakfast and snacks throughout each day. I highly recommend this establishment.

We had an excellent stay. The wine and cheese was a nice treat after a long day of exploring the area. We had a problem with the water in our room and the night staff helping us was excellent. She arranged for everything to be fixed first thing the next day and checked in with us to be sure everything was to our satisfaction. Great spot and we would definitely stay here again.

I also loved the cozy lobby, which was always spotless, and appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, and fresh fruit available daily. The only drawback is that there’s a road between the hotel and the mountains, and our room faced the front entrance. If you leave the window open at night, you may hear some morning chatter or occasional car noise. That aside, with its convenient location and easy walking distance to downtown, this hotel is a fantastic choice and truly a great deal.

Old hotel that is clean and in good repair. Beds were comfy. No food optopns onsite. Bagged breakfast for $5.65 is rather underwhelming. Staff were lovely. Coffee and tea available all day. Gorgeous lobby with views of 3 Sisters and sunny with huge fireplace.
