Everwild Canmore Hotel

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel was nicely situated, lobby was very comfortable for sitting by the fire. The pre-check-in was nice, however, because there was no human interaction no information about the hotel was shared upon check in - where the hot tub was located, restaurant hours, etc. Hot tub was probably the biggest detractor from the hotel score - it was small, felt old and in a bad location. We would have loved to look out at the view while sitting in the hot tub but because it is at the back of the building it is all fenced in, taking away from the view.

To far from center of Canmore, sauna wasn’t available, construction going on for the spa complex addition. Kinda expensive for last minute booking.

The room was fantastic. Lots of space to tuck away ski equipment and luggage. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. The Christmas decor was beautiful and there are spaces to sit around the fire and play games. The only downfall was the hot tub. The first night it was lukewarm. There’s so much chlorine in it that it changed the colour of my bath suit from teal to gray and we had to leave quickly because our eyes were burning. I would most definitely stay here again!

Great place except that the sauna and spa were closed. When I booked it, I didn't know and was disappointed, especially for the price paid.

Stayed here June 30-July 1 2025. The hotel is overall amazing. Rooms are very modern and clean, with beautiful views outside the windows. Lobby has lots of things like free board games and even a Photo Booth. Parking was simple and easy, and the Town of Canmore was just across the bridge. However, there is only a hot tub. No gym, or regular pool. The “no staff” front desk concept is a little weird. In conclusion, I definitely recommend this hotel, as we had a great experience.

So happy to stay here, the Nordic spa was simply amazing. Would recommend to anyone who needs a relaxing weekend.

Housekeeping is not very good we asked for cleaning and just changed the sheets, did not touch the washroom and garbage was left in the room. and the washroom stinks so bad. The moment we got in when we checked in the smell of pee in the washroom is so strong. But overall the hotel is ok.

The hotel is doing some renovations but they are still maintaining a safe environment for families and pet owners. As well as a quiet time in evenings. Also, usually with renovations, there is dust but not here. They must be constantly cleaning. So clean and inviting as soon as I walked in. The staff went above and beyond to answer my many questions and did it with a smile. I was in a pet friendly room which was immaculately clean. Outside there were places to walk my dog right around the hotel property, very much appreciated.

Washroom curtain was bit dirty before we use but overall this hotel was really nice and really near to canmore downtown. Also good amenities.

Nice place. Nice location. Quiet. Modern and new. Easy to park. Room equipped with Nespresso coffee maker. Restaurant is quite good. Be warned the hotel does clean rooms during your stay unless specifically requested. Unfortunately for us they did not mention at check in. At a high-end stay we expected daily housekeeping. When we returned at 4pm the room was not cleaned. I asked why at the front desk, and was informed this is a “request only” facility. I mentioned for the amount we were being charged this should be included automatically (like other stays on our trip). No action and no empathy by staff. Then I gave a 2-star rating about “the check-in lack of communication”, and by 6:30pm a knock at the door to clean. Sorry, we expected this while we were out for the day, and now relaxing for the evening. I went to front desk to learn why they were ok now to clean. “Because they saw the 2-star rating”. So no action the first time, and then action when made public. Wow! Management needs to modify this practice, and how to keep customers happy, especially with an industry common practice of tidying up rooms at high $$ stays. MTN House By Basecamp can do better. I’m providing this as a PSA to future guests - make sure you request complimentary housekeeping.

Already planning my next trip to stay here. Amazing place can’t say enough. No pool so kiddos might get bored but they have board games available to keep them busy. Rooms spacious, modern and clean. I appreciate the no key, key pad feature.

Recent hotel, Clean and nice. Thin walls, we can hear the people talking in the next room.

Stayed in a king executive suite. Excellent. Very clean, quiet and appreciated big screen in the sitting room and the bedroom. Bathroom was a little tight, but very clean. Convenient to highway with easy on and off.Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Family Room, which had one king bed and two queens in a separate bedroom. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the room had poor air circulation. The king side had no air conditioning, so we had to keep the bedroom door open at night to get some airflow, but still woke up overheated. The shower also had very low pressure, which wasn’t great. The hot tub was available, but the jets barely worked. It was at least something to enjoy while they work on the outdoor Nordic Spa, which we learned will only be for hotel guests ONLY starting November 2025 and guests will still have to pay an additional $150 per visit on top of their stay. Overall, I would rate this a 4⭐️ stay. While the staff and beds were wonderful, we likely wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, even once the Nordic Spa is open.

Great place to stay for Canmore and Banff. Excellent view of three sisters mountain. Friendly staff and nice area. Just wish there was a microwave for convenience

The room was big with a nice bathroom that had a shower and bathtub separate.

The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The lobby was warm and comfortable. The wall and shelf decorations added to the vibe. One negative was we only had one hanger in the bedroom.

This hotel is overrated. If you don’t have a car and are visiting as a tourist as we did it is very difficult to get around. I have a knee injury so walking to town which would probably take 25 minutes over the highway was out of the question. The front desk woman who checked us in did not give us any information and it felt like we are squeezing a lemon getting any info about our stay, our hotel or getting around town from her. She was ignorant and rude and totally spoiled our stay because of our first impressions of the property through. In fact we tried to cuz our visit short and check out the next morning, but they said it was non-refundable so we stayed not to lose money, but transferred back to Banff afterwards. In terms of transportation we took a taxi into town each day two ways. There is a local bus about 700 m away however there is a two hour break in the day and it finishes running early so it did not match our schedule. Also it is located kind off on a small road next to the forest and there are bear in are warning signs all over next to it so we felt uncomfortable. The hotel itself is quite new in fact the facilities are not available yet such as the new spa. The room is new and a decent size. The bathtub though is so high and anyone with leg injury would find it difficult to get in and out. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The body wash was not refilled for a few days and we had to use shsmpoo to wash ourselves.

The room was nice, modern and clean. But oh my - the customer service all around at this hotel was not ok. Front desk people were not helpful, virtually never there, not fluent. The restaurant staff were too busy and didn't serve us for dinner or breakfast despite waiting 15 min both times. So we gave up and went to town to grab food. For some forsaken reason, the housekeeping team thought it would be appropriate to start vacuuming the hallway at 8:30am. That pissed us off big time. Not worth the hype here at all. As ridiculous as this sounds, we'd recommend Coast Hotel over Everwild. By all means check out the spa facility here but no need to stay at the hotel. Just plain overall awful, the poor customer service just dampened the experience.

The staff were exceptional and were always available to help with check in, arranging cabs, ensuring the room was clean and much more. Was extremely impressed with this property as a whole and will be coming back on future visits.

The room was lovely, comfortable, and clean. Jaime, one of the servers in Rhythm and Howl is just great – very friendly and accommodating. All the staff are very friendly. This is our favourite place to stay in Canmore.

Upon arrival, front desk woman did not greet us. We had to say hello first. She stopped us, and asked for ID then “demanded” a credit card without saying what for and how much. She did not confirm anything about our reservation which actually is two reservations as we had regretfully booked an extended stay through expedia. She did not explain anything about property or amenities. We asked several questions including how much was I charged for the deposit and questions about local bus. She informed us wrong information about the local transport. We later googled and found the correct information. She did not tell us or confirm our booking details such as room and its facilities. Had we known there was no walk-in shower assigned, we would have asked for a room with one prior to unpacking everything. I am a frequent traveler and this hotel ranks in the top 5 worst hotels in terms of customer service. Very unprofessional front desk staff. The woman who checked us in on Monday October 6th around 6pm needs professional training in customer service. It is a shame that that woman represents our first impression of this hotel. We are also hotel reviewers and have a large social media following and sadly cannot recommend this place. First impressions matter - can either elevate your stay make or spoil it before it even begins. Sadly in this case it is the latter.

The overall feel was warm and inviting. Connie at the front desk was very helpful and provided us a wealth of information for touring the area. She was very hospitable and made our stay even better. The room was clean and spacious. However, I did not care for the decor of the wolf and deer heads on walls. Pictures would have been better. Overall, a great stay and we would return.

Property is very convenient and the staff was very helpful. My only complaint was the onsite restaurant. The food was excellent when you could eat there but it was severely understaffed and we were turned away three times while we were there because they did not have enough staff to serve us. Disappointing but Canmore offers many great places to eat so we were able to find food downtown.

The property was modern, clean and excellently run. The highlight was the customer service, with the receptionist Naj making the stay comfortable and ensuring we never missed out on any fun activities in or around the hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be back again soon.

The building is so warm and inviting. The lobby has a big warm fireplace with games and blankets and comfy places to sit and relax. The young man named Naj at the front desk was so extremely helpful and professional. He upgraded our room with no hesitation and continued to add happiness to our entire stay. I highly recommend booking your next stay through the hotels website and ask directly for Naj. He is fantastic!! Our room was incredible. We had a great view of the mountains. We stayed in a loft room and the sitting area on the main floor was such an added bonus. The rooms are also extremely spacious. The room also came with a Nespresso coffee machine which I felt was the cherry on top. The only down side was having to check out when our stay was over. Highly recommend!

Super clean and upscale with a normal price ! The hotel is far enough from the city centre to be in a quiet area, but not too far.

Beautiful property, friendly staff and rooms with a wonderful view. There is construction on the property but it didn’t impact our stay. Only thing to note is the bus stop going to Banff is 5 minutes away, but the bus stop coming back drops you off about a 30 minute walk away. Alternatively you could stay on the bus for longer than it would take to walk to be dropped off at the closer bus stop. Would be a more walkable trek if there was a pedestrian bridge connecting this area to downtown otherwise walks in and out of downtown take longer to go around the highway. Would definitely stay here again!

Close to the highway to get you up to Banff National Park. Not too far from downtown Canmore.

The location is excellent if you want to avoid the very crowded Banff area. It is nice and quiet with lots of restaurant option around.

Nice property in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains. Located minutes from Canmore Village and right off the highway. Only a 20min drive to Banff. Staff were very friendly

The building is located on the other side of the highway to Canmore. While this means you can avoid the train noise that is prevalent in a lot of the other hotels in Canmore, the hotel is not very walkable. Parking also fills fast when busy, so if you arrive after 8:30pm you may have to circle and wait for a spot to open. The staff were routinely amazing to deal with and the hotel as a whole is very nice. We loved our room and will probably visit again.

Absolutely stunning room with high ceilings. Got exactly what we booked! The restaurant had amazing food and we went there every day of our stay. Such an amazing experience. We will be back!!

We were disappointed with front end staff. I found them to be quite cold and somewhat impolite. Also we were very disappointed with no restaurant service for lunch and dinner. No complimentary coffee or water in lobby area considering no restaurant service. There was a breakfast cooler with very expensive offerings. Example $12 for a breakfast sandwich, hmmmm Also found music in lobby to be annoying. Louder than should be.

The restaurant of the hotel opens with limited times & room service is same as the restaurant operating time as well. During my stay, the renovating noises always started from 8:00am something.

Beautiful hotel and the spa just opened that day. We got a sneak peak around the spa while they kept the privacy of guests in mind. We did not get to try the spa as we only had the evening there. I would suggest that the hotel or spa has a discounted rate for the spa for those who are only able to take a few hours of relaxation on a business trip rather than offering only the day pass as the only option but either way beautiful hotel, spa and great service. Great food at the restaurant. Clean and comfortable room. Walking distance to downtown Canmore.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Staff were very accommodating and had 2 very enjoyable meals at the on sight restaurant. Would stay there again for sure!!
